Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fire protection component, in particular a fire door, a fire door, a fire damper or a fire wall, with a cassette-shaped enclosure consisting of sheet metal and an insulating structure located therein which extends substantially completely over a base of the enclosure and which has a central air layer and at least two layers, each comprising at least one gypsum material plate and two of which are arranged on opposite sides of the air layer, wherein at least one gypsum material plate is connected at least on one of the air layer facing side with a stabilizing layer of a sheet-like material, which in Substantially extends over an entire base of the gypsum material plate.
From a temperature of about 200 ° C and by the loss of crystal water, the gypsum of calcium sulfate dihydrate with a water content of about 20% in anhydrite without crystal water around. If the gypsum is exposed to such higher temperatures for a longer period of time, its strength will be impaired over time. This is usually counteracted by the plaster of gypsum material plate glass or ceramic fibers are added, so that the microstructure is improved. Despite this measure, cracks in the gypsum material board may occur during prolonged exposure to heat, or break gypsum parts in particular on the air layer side of the gypsum material boards. Due to the diminishing thermal insulation properties of gypsum plasterboard, this can lead to premature failure of the entire fire protection component.
Based on the prior art, it is therefore the object of the present invention to design a fire protection element with insulating gypsum plasterboard so that despite the decrease in strength of the gypsum itself with prolonged exposure to heat, the gypsum material boards are still preserved as a whole, with the inventive design should be characterized by ease of manufacture and low production costs.
The object is achieved in that the material of the stabilizing layer of fibers, filaments or wires is formed or this has or provided with evenly distributed openings film. This ensures that the gypsum material board for a normal use or mechanical stress in the cold state, such as the slamming of the fire protection component, an increased stability. On the other hand, it can still be retained as a whole even with decreasing strength of the plaster by heat, so that the fire protection component can withstand a fire longer.
Preferably, the material of the stabilizing layer of metal, ceramic, glass or plastic or of a composite material should consist of at least two of the aforementioned materials. These materials have a correspondingly high strength and heat resistance in order to hold the gypsum material board together even after prolonged exposure to heat.
In order to ensure the appropriate cohesion, the fibers, threads or wires should advantageously be connected to one another such that the stabilizing layer, similar to the film provided with apertures, a flat structure is, preferably a textile fabric, in particular a fabric, a knitted fabric, a knitted fabric or a nonwoven.
In one embodiment, it should therefore be provided that the stabilization layer comprises a fabric of glass fibers or ceramic fibers, wherein the clear mesh width between adjacent fibers is between 2 mm and 10 mm both in the warp direction and in the weft direction. In addition to the high stabilizing effect of such a fabric, this results in the advantage that depending on the selected mesh size, the stabilizing layer can be designed to optimize weight, and thus the weight of the fire protection component is only slightly increased. This also ensures that the water of crystallization can escape from the gypsum through the mesh into the air gap, and thus the cooling effect is maintained. In addition, it is provided in a particular embodiment that the gypsum material board is reinforced with fibers and / or with at least one outer cardboard layer. This gives the plasterboard also in the mesh area with continued high water vapor permeability additional stability.
It is further provided that the stabilization layer should be glued over the entire surface with the gypsum material plate, wherein the adhesive should contain a foaming component preferably of sodium silicate (water glass). The foaming of the adhesive causes an additional insulating effect. In addition, water glass has the advantage over other adhesives that no toxic or flammable gases can form due to the lack of organic solvents. In addition, the adhesiveness of this cost-effective material is still maintained even at higher temperatures, so that a release of the stabilizing layer of the gypsum material plate is largely prevented even after delivery of the water of crystallization from the gypsum.
The layer of air between the gypsum material panels is preferably to be maintained by means of spacers, the spacers being supported on opposite surfaces of the gypsum material panel or the stabilization layer thereon. For a necessary stability of the fire protection component, these spacers should on the one hand consist of metal profiles, which may be connected to the narrow sides of the enclosure, preferably welded. On the other hand, strips of layered gypsum material boards are to be used as spacers in the areal areas of the gypsum material boards in which no high mechanical loads occur, which ensure that the heat transfer between the gypsum boards is as low as possible can be held. These multilayer strips can be glued to the respective associated gypsum material board or the stabilization layer thereon or connected by means of metal clips in order to prevent possible slippage.
Exist in a possible embodiment of the fire protection component, the insulating layers on one or both of its flat sides of several adjacent gypsum plasterboard, so the butt joints between the adjacent gypsum material boards should preferably be covered over their entire length consisting of gypsum material plates spacers. In this way, possible heat gaps are covered and it is prevented that the air layer is heated by penetrating heat more than necessary.
Since the exposed in case of fire with heat cover plate of the fire protection element can be very hot, gluing the gypsum material boards should be avoided with the cover plates to avoid, inter alia, distortions due to different thermal expansions. Also, mechanical fasteners such as fittings and the like do not make sense, as this thermal bridges in the insulating air layer can arise. In one embodiment of the fire protection component is therefore provided that the voltage applied to the cover plates of the housing plasterboard plates are held solely by the spacers in position.
Furthermore, functional elements such as lock case, band fastening parts or the like should preferably be arranged in the air layer. These functional elements must remain functional even at high temperatures in order to keep possible escape routes open. By incorporating these functional elements in the area of the air layer, they are thermally insulated from the cover plates of the enclosure, which are heated in a fire, and accordingly expand less strongly. As a result, the risk that the lock or band parts of the fire protection component warp or even jam, can be largely avoided.
As dimensions for the fire protection component to be provided that the air layer has a thickness between 20 mm and 50 mm, preferably between 35 mm and 45 mm, the gypsum material boards a thickness between 8 mm and 20 mm, preferably between 9.5 mm and 15 mm, the stabilizing layer has a thickness of between 0.1 mm and 1.0 mm, preferably 0.3 mm, and the cover plates have a thickness of between 0.7 mm and 2.0 mm, preferably between 1.0 mm and 1.5 mm ,
In the following, the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an exemplary embodiment of a fire protection component shown in the figures.

These stabilizing
The attachment of the stabilizing
The

Provided by such a structure and with the additional stabilization layers 10, such a fire door can be made correspondingly light and narrow, without prematurely fail in a fire. Depending on the required thermal insulation properties, the total thickness of the fire door moves between approx. 50 mm and approx. 90 mm, which enables or facilitates its use even in areas in which spatial or aesthetic issues play a role. It is also advantageous that such a fire door can also be made by smaller metal construction companies with locally available materials, which allows a relatively inexpensive production.
