Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a preferably electric toothbrush with a handpiece and an attachable thereon attachment.
  • the invention relates in particular to the attachment part for such a toothbrush, with a working head and a connecting piece connected to the working head, which is positively and / or non-positively connectable with the toothbrush handpiece.
  • Such an attachment may in particular be an attachment brush for cleaning teeth, but also interdental cleansers, gum massage heads or other attachment tools for performing similar tasks in the oral cavity may be considered.
  • An electric toothbrush is known from EP 0 500 537 B1, in which the attachment brush is connected, on the one hand, to an end-side shaft part of the toothbrush handpiece and, on the other hand, to a drive shaft projecting therefrom.
