Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines Mittels nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Entsprechende Mittel werden als Trennmittel bei der Holzverarbeitung eingesetzt, um zu verhindern, dass austretender Leim oder Klebstoffe an den entsprechenden Holzverarbeitungswerkzeugen haften bleiben. Zum Aufbringen solcher Mittel auf den Bereich einer Holzkante oder eines anzuleimenden Teils weisen diese Mittel eine mehr oder weniger flüchtige Substanz und eine den Leim oder Klebstoff von der Verarbeitungsmaschine fernhaltende, trennwirksame Substanz (Trennsubstanz) auf, die sich in der flüchtigen Substanz löst. Üblicherweise sind die bekannten Trennmittel Flüssigkeiten, welche zum Auftragen über Sprühdüsen auf den vorgegebenen Bereich aufgesprüht werden. Nach dem Aufbringen/ Aufsprühen verflüchtigt sich die flüchtige Substanz und lässt die eigentliche Trennsubstanz zurück.
  • In der Vergangenheit sind hierzu Trennmittellösungen aus Alkohol und Weißöl vorgeschlagen worden. Nachteilig an diesen Trennmitteln ist unter anderem, dass insbesondere die Holzkanten oftmals bei größeren Auftragsmengen der Trennmittellösungen ölige Rückstände aufweisen. Hierdurch werden die Kanten der Holzplatten rutschig, wodurch die Weiterverarbeitung und Handhabung deutlich erschwert wird.
  • Des weiteren ist bei bekannten Trennmittellösungen festgestellt worden, dass die zum Transport der Holzplatten bei der Holzverarbeitung eingesetzten Kettenplatten, auf denen die zu verarbeitenden Holzplatten aufliegen, dadurch beschädigt werden, dass die Gummierungen der Kettenplatten, die ein Verrutschen der aufliegenden Holzplatten verhindern sollen, aufquellen. Dies kann zu Fehlern bei der Holzverarbeitung führen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Mittel der eingangs genannten Art zu verwenden welches hinsichtlich der genannten Nachteile verbessert ist.
  • Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch die Verwendung eines Mittels mit den Merkmalen des Anspruch 1. Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen finden sich in den Unteransprüchen.
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird die Trennsubstanz nach einer ersten Ausführungsform durch ein Benzin, nach einer zweiten Ausführungsform durch einen Alkohol, bevorzugt einen dreiwertigen Alkohol wie Glycerin, gebildet. Tests haben ergeben, dass bei einem Massenanteil von ca. 3% des Benzins/Glycerins und einem Massenanteil von größer als 96% Alkohol - bevorzugt Ethanol - besonders gute Ergebnisse erzielt werden. Ölige Rückstände auf den Holzkanten können so vermieden werden.
  • Bevorzugt sind nach der ersten Ausführungsform als Trennsubstanz aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe vorgesehen, welche als i-, n- oder/und cyclo-Aliphate oder Gemische hieraus vorliegen können. Die genannten Stoffe sind im Hinblick auf die kinematische Viskosität sehr niedrig viskos und liegen im Bereich von 1,0 bis 2,0 mm2/s bei 25°C. Besonders vorteilhaft ist eine kinematische Viskosität von etwa 1,6 mm2/s bei 25°C.
  • Als im Hinblick auf die zu lösende Aufgabe besonders geeignet haben sich in der Praxis folgende Ausführungsbeispiele herausgestellt:
  • Ausführungsbeispiel 1:
  • Flüchtige Substanz Ethanol
    Massenanteil flüchtige Substanz 96-97%
    Trennsubstanz Benzin, Gemisch aus i-, n und oder , C10-C12
    Massenanteil Trennsubstanz 3%
    Kinematische Viskosität der Trennsubstanz bei 25 °C 1,6 - 1,7 mm2/s
  • Der Massenanteil der flüssigen Substanz kann zu Gunsten der Beigabe von in der flüchtigen Substanz löslichen Additiven wie Farbstoffen variabel sein. Ohne Additive sind Massenanteile von 97% Ethanol oder einem anderen Alkohol und 3% des Benzins als Trennsubstanz bevorzugt.
  • Ausführungsbeispiel 2:
  • Flüchtige Substanz Ethanol
    Massenanteil flüchtige Substanz 96-97%
    Trennsubstanz dreiwertiger Alkohol, bevorzugt Glycerin
    Massenanteil Trennsubstanz 3 - 4%
  • Der Massenanteil der flüssigen Substanz kann zu Gunsten der Beigabe von in der flüchtigen Substanz löslichen Additiven wie Farbstoffen variabel sein. Ohne Additive sind Massenanteile von 97% Ethanol oder einem anderen Alkohol und 3% des Glycerins als Trennsubstanz bevorzugt. Dem Glycerin kann zusätzlich etwas Wasser beigemischt sein.

Claims (7)

  1. Verwendung eines Mittels zum Aufbringen bei der Kantenbearbeitung von Holz, wobei das Mittel eine flüchtige Substanz und eine Trennsubstanz aufweist, wobei die flüchtige Substanz eine alkoholische Substanz oder eine alkoholische Lösung ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die Trennsubstanz im wesentlichen aus einer Substanz besteht, die ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einem dreiwertigen Alkohol, der von dem/den in der flüchtigen Substanz enthaltenen Alkohol/Alkoholen verschieden ist, und einem Benzin.
  2. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die flüchtige Substanz Ethanol aufweist.
  3. Verwendung nach Anspruch 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der Massenanteil von Ethanol in dem Mittel größer als 90%, bevorzugt größer als 96% beträgt.
  4. Verwendung nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der Massenanteil des dreiwertigen Alkohols bzw. des Benzins in dem Mittel kleiner als 10%, bevorzugt etwa 3% beträgt.
  5. Verwendung nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die kinematische Viskosität des Benzins aus n-, i- und cyclo-Aliphaten bei 25°C, kleiner als 2,0 mm2/s ist, bevorzugt zwischen 1,0 und 2,0 mm2/s liegt.
  6. Verwendung nach Anspruch 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die kinematische Viskosität des Benzins aus n-, i- und cyclo-Aliphaten bei 25°C etwa 1,6 mm2/s beträgt.
  7. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1- 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der dreiwertige Alkohol Glycerin ist.
