Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Mittel gemäss dem Oberbegriff des
Patentanspruchs 1.
Ein solches Mittel ist bereits aus der DE-PS 30 48 022 der An
melderin bekannt geworden. Dieses Mittel besteht aus ca. 3%
Rostschutzadditiv, ca. 5% Propylenglykol und (Rest) Isopropa
nol; es besteht also hauptsächlich aus Isopropanol (ca. 92%)
sowie Zusätzen von Propylenglykol und Rostschutzadditiv.
Dieses bekannte Mittel erfüllt schon weitgehend die an es ge
stellte Aufgabe, die Bildung von Eis bzw. Vereisungen im Inneren
des Bremssystems auch bei tiefen Aussentemperaturen zu verhin
dern, und zwar ohne schädliche Nebenwirkungen, insbesondere
ohne die Entfettung oder Rostbildung im Innern der Bremsanlagen.
Es hat sich aber leider gezeigt, dass dieses Mittel noch nicht
vollständig befriedigt, also noch verbesserungsbedürftig ist.
Insbesondere ist in einigen Anwendungsfällen doch Entfettung
im Innern der Bremsanlagen aufgetreten, wodurch die Geschmei
digkeit und Gleitfähigkeit der Manschetten litten. In anderen
Fällen kam es vor, dass Tropf-Dochte, aus denen das Mittel in
die Bremsanlage eingegeben wird, verklebten, so dass der Nach
schub des Mittels beeinträchtigt wurde. In anderen Fällen kamen
Korrosionen an Metallteilen vor, die mit der Entfettung und
Wasserbildung zusammenhängen dürften. Auch wurden Volumenver
grösserungen an Dichtungen aus Gummi oder Kunststoff festge
stellt.
Die vereinzelt aufgetretenen Mängel sind dabei unterschiedlich,
je nach der Bauart der Bremsanlage und der Art ihres Betriebes.
Mit vorliegender Erfindung wird daher eine weitere Verbesserung
erstrebt. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Frost
schutz- und Pflegemittel der eingangs genannten Art anzugeben,
welches Vereisungen ohne Nebenwirkungen zuverlässig verhindert
(insoweit die gleiche Aufgabe wie bei dem bekannten Mittel), und
welches darüber hinaus bei allen in Betrieb befindlichen Druck
luftbremsanlagen Nebenwirkungen wie Entfettung und Korrosion
verhindert. Dabei soll dieses Mittel auch zur Pflege, insbe
sondere Schmierung, im Sommer eingesetzt werden können, also
nicht nur als Frostschutzmittel.
Nach umfangreichen Versuchen ist als Lösung dieser Aufgabe
die im Patentanspruch 1 angegebene Rezeptur gefunden worden.
Gegenüber dem vorbekannten Mittel wurde also der Anteil an
Isopropanol herabgesetzt und durch Ethanol ersetzt. Statt bis
her ca. 5% Propylenglykol werden nunmehr ca. 6,5% Etylen
glykol eingesetzt.
Ferner wird gemäss der Erfindung der Anteil an Rostschutzadditiven
von ca. 3% auf (nur) 0,1% herabgesetzt. Die Rostschutzadditive
stellen schwerlösliche Substanzen dar, diese wurden also weit
gehend herabgesetzt.
Vorzugsweise wird als Rostschutzadditiv Natriumbenzoat einge
setzt.
Claims (2)
1. Frostschutz- und Pflegemittel für Druckluftbremsanlagen,
bestehend aus einem Gemisch von Alkoholen und (wenigstens)
einem Rostschutzadditiv,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass das Mittel aus ca. 0,1% Korrosionsschutzadditiv, ca.
6,5% Ethylenglykol, 40% Ethanol, Rest (ca. 53,4%)
Isopropanol besteht.
2. Mittel nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass als Korrosionsschutz-Additive Natriumbenzoat vorge
sehen ist.
