Definitions
- the invention relates firstly to a sealing tape, for example, between a masonry and a window frame, with a two longitudinal edges having carrier tape, wherein associated two longitudinal edges of one of a removable for use protective layer adhesive composition is applied, for example in the form of a self-adhesive strip and / or in shape a butyl mass. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a sealing strip and the use of a sealing strip.
- sealing tapes have already become known in a variety of configurations. It is for example on the DE 298 07 620 U1 or the EP 1 433 917 A1 directed.
- This sealing tapes are usually formed on the basis of a nonwoven material, sometimes with a metallic layer or plastic layer to achieve defined water vapor permeability or water vapor tightness. They are typically glued in a window opening between the window frame and the masonry. Here, the bonding is often made on the masonry by means of a butyl layer and the window frame by means of a self-adhesive strip.
- the DE 201 21 253 U1 describes a sealing tape of several layers, wherein provided at each longitudinal edge of an adhesive is.
- the adhesives are mounted on opposite sides of the sealing tape so that an adhesive bondability with another component is provided on each side of the sealing tape.
- the DE 10 2005 039 157 A1 describes a sealing tape with connection profile.
- the bond is not made in each case, so for example with the masonry and the window frame, on the same side of the sealing strip, but on different sides of the sealing strip.
- the invention is based on the illustrated prior art, the task of specifying a sealing strip for use in the construction sector, which is as variable as possible with respect to the bond.
- This overlapped or protruding width range of the adhesive is then also in relation to the opposite side of the sealing tape haftept, so can be used as well on the opposite side to the arrest.
- an adhesion of the adhesive mass against itself and / or an arrest can also be realized on the opposite side of the carrier tape. Due to the two-sided adhesion of the adhesive itself is in any case an adhesion of the sealing strip - assigned to this longitudinal edge - given on both flat sides.
- the sealing strip associated with a longitudinal edge has only one bondability by means of a butyl adhesive strip or at least one adhesive strip of adhesive to a certain extent or paste-like adhesive and the other longitudinal edge associated with self-adhesive strips.
- two adhesive compositions are provided on both sides of the carrier tape, assigned the same longitudinal edge. These adhesive compositions are arranged opposite each other in a cross section with respect to the carrier tape. However, you do not necessarily need to be arranged congruent opposite, as also explained below. In particular, this embodiment need not be combined with the measure that a (relevant) projection is present over the longitudinal edge.
- both adhesive compositions are arranged protruding beyond the longitudinal edge.
- both adhesive compositions are adhered over a part of their surface against itself or against the other adhesive mass.
- the former is particularly possible even if only one adhesive is provided.
- the above-described adhesiveness of the sealing strip to the two flat sides with respect to one of the flat sides is (also) used to achieve arrest with a further adhesive mass, which can then (only) provide the adhesion to a component, for example.
- At least one of them is the same Longitudinal edge associated adhesive masses, possibly also only one, over the longitudinal edge outstanding provided adhesive mass used to stabilize a longitudinal folding of the sealing strip.
- the adhesive mass forming the supernatant is covered on both sides by a respective protective layer.
- the protective layer serves to cover the adhesive until it is used.
- this may be a non-adhesive to the adhesive mass, but merely peelable adhesive cooperating plastic film.
- it may also be a siliconized paper.
- the adhesive on the opposite side is effective, applied a protective layer, which ensures the usual ease of use of the sealing strip. In the state of use, d. H. when installed, then a protective layer can remain on the sealing strip.
- the (one) adhesive mass or one of the two adhesive masses stabilizes an infill of the sealing tape. This is a continuous over the length of the sealing strip folding, so a longitudinal folding. It is further preferred that this infill is at least partially in overlap with the adhesive mass.
- the Einfaltelung is also stabilized by the adhesive.
- a sealing tape as described herein offers a possibility of arresting on both sides, at least with respect to a longitudinal edge of the sealing tape, can not be used only to the same sealing tape differently, ie on the front or back, associated with a longitudinal edge to glue. Rather, this can also be used to ensure that the adhesive side or adhesive material not used in each case for bonding to the component is also used, by means of the sealing tape, for a further object, such as a strip, for example a plaster strip, with a component, such as a window frame to stick.
- the arrangement of the two same longitudinal edge associated adhesive masses can be chosen so that no overlap between the adhesive is given, but also an overlap or even as already addressed aligned arrangement (concerning a cross-sectional view) is a preferred embodiment.
- the mutual adhesion of the adhesive masses or the adhesion of an adhesive mass to itself is preferably given only in the region projecting beyond the longitudinal edge.
- an adhesive mass can be arrested in each case in a partial area with opposite sides of the sealing strip.
- the adhesive width of an adhesive mass or the adhesive masses may be different on the opposite sides of the sealing strip.
- the adhesive areas of each arranged on one side of the sealing strip, the same longitudinal edge associated adhesive masses may overlap each other or may be congruent in a projection.
- the sealing tape with the first flat side with the component can be adhesively bonded and further, for example, only after completion of this Anklebevorganges, the plaster molding on the component adhesive bond facing away from the second flat side Sealing tape to be applied adhesive technology. It does not require a possibly cumbersome simultaneous handling of sealing tape and plaster molding.
- the covering, at least overlapping adhesive bonding flat sides the adhesive area available for bonding to the component is reduced compared to a customary juxtaposition and adhesion of sealing tape and plaster molding on the component, so further preferably minimized to the adhesive to be bonded Support surface of plasterboard.
- the sealing strip is adhesively bonded between the plastering strip and the component, wherein the plastering strip is in turn adhesively bonded to the component via the sealing strip.
- the actual sealing strip for example in the form of a nonwoven / film composite, does not necessarily have to be held directly between the plastering strip and the component to form double-sided adhesive bonds.
- the adhesive joints on the two opposite flat sides offering portion of the sealing strip may also be a permanently attached to the sealing tape adhesion strip or the like.
- the adhesive bonds on the two opposite flat sides must, as already mentioned in principle, not necessarily be completely overlapping. A (mere) overlap of these adhesive surfaces is possible. In this regard, it proves to be advantageous if, at least in one projection onto the contact surface of the plastering strip, the opposite adhesive surfaces lie in full coverage.
- the adhesive connection between the plastering strip and the sealing strip can be made to overlap the adhesive bond between the sealing strip and the component.
- the self-adhesive strips of both flat sides can be formed independently of each other.
- both the sealing strip and the plastering strip can be connected to the component by the same adhesive-effecting self-adhesive strips on both sides.
- It may be formed without an adhesive or a self-adhesive strip in the component, the plaster molding.
- a possible embodiment is also given by only one self-adhesive strip, which is provided a protrusion or flashover along the longitudinal edge of the sealing strip or this encompassing forming, so on, for example in the manner of a double-sided adhesive tape.
- both the sealing strip and the plastering strip are connected to the component only by a self-adhesive strip, in particular the same adhesive on both sides.
- This is in a preferred embodiment transversely to the longitudinal extent of the sealing strip and the strip beyond the longitudinal edge of the sealing strip addition, which protruding portion of the double-adhesive self-adhesive strip on the one hand can be used to adhere to the component and opposite to the adhesion of the plaster.
- the sealing strip On the component side facing flat side of the self-adhesive strip, the sealing strip is also connected. Accordingly, in the installed state component and sealing tape can be connected via the self-adhesive strip in juxtaposition, further wherein the self-adhesive strip on both sides of an adhesive forms an extension or a connection region of the sealing strip and thus a part thereof.
- the already described embodiment may be useful, in which on both flat sides of the sealing strip, associated with the longitudinal edge, an adhesive strip, in particular self-adhesive strip is provided, and these two self-adhesive strip with a projection over the longitudinal edge (in the width direction of the sealing strip ) are provided and are arrested directly against each other in the area of this supernatant.
- the plastering strip is formed even without self-adhesive strip.
- the adhesive surface is offered by the sealing tape.
- the sealing strip according to the invention can be used for attaching a strip, in particular plaster strip on a component, such as a window profile, wherein a sealing strip is further attached to the component.
- the strip be attached to the component by means of the sealing strip.
- the strip is correspondingly not attached directly to the component, which in particular brings a separate attachment for the bar with it, so on in particular a self-adhesive layer on the bar.
- the sealing strip itself preferably has means for fixing the strip, wherein the sealing strip is correspondingly carrier of the strip for placement on the component.
- the handling is simplified as a result, so that preferably in two successive steps sealing strip and plaster strip can be arranged on the component. Basically, there is also the option of first fixing the strip on the sealing strip and then together on the component.
- the article is adhesively bonded to the component by means of the sealing tape.
- the invention further relates to a method for producing a sealing strip, for example, between a masonry and a window frame, wherein the sealing strip has two longitudinal edges and at both longitudinal edges of a covered by a protective layer for use protective layer adhesive is applied, for example in the form of a self-adhesive strip and or in the form of a butyl compound.
- the invention proposes that the adhesive mass is applied over this longitudinal edge in any case with respect to a longitudinal edge in the form of a contiguous adhesive strip and at least the supernatant by one from the opposite side of the Sealing tape tapered protective layer is covered.
- the infiltration of the adhesive strip takes place in a contiguous form, wherein this contiguous shape can be achieved by the consistency of the adhesive strip itself, but also by applying and resting on or in the required manner adhering to the protective layer, which thus can run with the same.
- the adhesive mass forming the supernatant has a consistency which corresponds to a self-stabilized coherent shape, nevertheless it is already combined with the protective layer when it is being used.
- the supernatant which may also be a remaining supernatant, such as when it comes to an Umfaltelung or shrinkage of the adhesive composition, is also covered by a tapered from the opposite side of the sealing strip - further - protective layer.
- a protective layer With regard to the configuration of such a protective layer has already been stated above, to which reference is made.
- the application of the adhesive mass on the one side is carried out immediately with the covering protective layer is, while on the other hand, on which the adhesion activity is given in terms of the supernatant, the protective layer is applied to the already resting on the carrier tape - and accessible from this other side - part of the adhesive strip.
- the protective layer is applied to the already resting on the carrier tape - and accessible from this other side - part of the adhesive strip.
- both can be applied immediately with covering protective layer.
- the width of the protective layers or the orientation of the protective layers in the application can be chosen so that the protective layers are as such in overlap with each other, with virtually no offset, or in the projection have a supernatant to each other.
- the one protective layer is then usually account for a greater proportion of the width of the not provided with adhesive material portion of the carrier tape than the other protective layer, wherein such a longitudinal portion of the protective layer, which is not in overlap to the adhesive layer, anyway for simplified deduction of Protective layer is advantageous.
- an infill of the carrier tape is made and this Einfaltelung is fixed by means of the adhesive.
- this can be achieved particularly favorably if the filling is carried out locally close to or even immediately before application of the adhesive, and then the adhesive material then running can readily achieve the fixation of the infill.
- the adhesives are applied from different sides of the sealing strip.

Characterized in that the adhesive mass 5 is adhesively bonded to the carrier tape 13, seen from the longitudinal edge 2 from already before the peripheral edge 10 and further simultaneously adhering to the beyond the peripheral edge 10 in the width direction of the carrier tape 13 further extending portion of the carrier tape, the Finally, the longitudinal edge 3 forms, a certain initial stabilization of this Einfaltelung is given. After installation of the sealing strip can then occur during certain component movements unfolding, as far as a latitude stock is created.
- Fig. 15 is further seen that the adhesive compositions 5 and 18 are provided with respect to the cross-sectional view with different width.
- the adhesive mass 5 has a significantly greater width than the adhesive mass 18th
- T1 is different in the subject of this embodiment. This area is therefore designated T1 at the top and T1 * at the bottom. T1 * is larger than T1. T1 * may be 5% or more larger than T1. Especially in the range of 5-50%.
