Es liegt ein grundsätzlich luftdurchlässiger Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifen vor, der insgesamt - nur - aus offenporigem Schaumstoff zusammengesetzt ist. Dadurch, dass sich die Schaumstoffstreifen jeweils über die gesamte Dicke des Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifens erstrecken ist ein einfacher Aufbau erreicht. Die verklebungsfreie Erstreckung nebeneinander der Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifen an ihren einander zugewandten Längsseiten, an denen sie auch bevorzugt unmittelbar aneinander anliegen, sorgt für definierte Verhältnisse. Ein gewisser Zusammenhalt ist zwar in der Praxis durch eventuell austretendes Imprägnat an dieser Schnittstelle gegeben. Hierdurch ist aber keine Verklebung im Sinne eines nur zerstörend aufhebbaren Verbundes gegeben. Denn das Imprägnat ist nicht aushärtend. Die unterschiedliche Dampfbremswirkung ist allein durch eine unterschiedliche Ausgangsdichte und/ oder eine unterschiedliche Imprägnierung der Schaumstoffstreifen erreicht. Es bedarf grundsätzlich keiner sonstigen Zusatzmittel wie etwa einer durch Einlegung einer Leiste oder dgl. erreichten höheren Komprimierung oder einer einseitigen Beschichtung.
Da das verklebungsfreie Anliegen der Schaumstoffstreifen an ihren Längsseiten die Luftdurchlässigkeit in Querrichtung des Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifens nicht hindern soll, ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, dass gewisse, die Luftdurchlässigkeit nicht oder nicht wesentlich hindernde Verklebungen vorgesehen sind. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Schaumstoffstreifen an ihren einander zugewandten Längsseiten unter Belassung von verklebungsfreien Bereichen miteinander verklebt. Die verklebungsfreien Bereiche können insbesondere 20% bis 90% der Seitenfläche ausmachen, wobei diese genannte Bandbreite auch alle Zwischenwerte, insbesondere in Ein-Zehntel-Prozent-Schritten in die Offenbarung einschließt.
In weiterer Einzelheit kann eine solche Verklebung rasterartig vorgesehen sein. Weiter kann sie auch durch isolierte Klebepunkte vorgesehen sein. Die Verklebung ist bevorzugt so vorgesehen, dass sie nur zerstörend aufgehoben werden kann, also bspw. unter Mitreißen von miteinander verklebten Schaumstoffbereichen.

In die Offenbarung sind auch die Zwischenwerte jeweils im Einzelnen mit eingeschlossen. Also beispielsweise 21 oder 49 oder 41, 119 etc. kg/m3. Die unterschiedliche Dampfbremswirkung kann durch die Dampfdiffusionswiderstandszahl µ ausgedrückt werden. Dies ist ein Maß dafür, welchen Widerstand der - getränkte - Schaumstoffstreifen dem Wasserdampf (Luftfeuchte) im Vergleich zu einem Meter Luftschichtdicke entgegensetzt. Auf die DIN 18542 ist zu verweisen. Der dem Rauminneren zugewandte Schaumstoffstreifen kann hierbei beispielsweise einen µ-Wert von 5 bis 20, bevorzugt 8 bis 15, weiter bevorzugt 10 aufweisen. Dagegen kann der dem Raumäußeren zugewandte Schaumstoffstreifen einen µ-wert von 2 bis 15, bevorzugt 4 bis 10, weiter bevorzugt 4,5 oder 5 aufweisen. Auch in diese Werte sindjeweils alle Zwischenwerte, auch im Zehntelschrittbereich, in die Offenbarung einbezogen. Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung sind nachstehend, auch in der Figurenbeschreibung, oftmals in ihrer bevorzugten Zuordnung zum Gegenstand des Anspruches 1 oder zu Merkmalen weiterer Ansprüche erläutert. Sie können aber auch in einer Zuordnung zu nur einzelnen Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 oder des jeweiligen weiteren Anspruches oder auch jeweils unabhängig von Bedeutung sein.

Der Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifen 1 setzt sich zusammen aus zwei parallel zueinander verlaufenden Schaumstoffstreifen 5, 6. Sie können auch einen Spalt zwischen sich belassen. Beide Schaumstoffstreifen 5, 6 bestehen aus einem offenporigen bzw. offenzelligen Weichschaumstoff. Die zusammengefassten Schaumstoffstreifen 5, 6 bzw. der Schaumstoff-Dichtstreifen 1 weist weiter eine zur Anlage an der Fensterseite kommende Oberseite 9 und eine zur Anlage an der Laibung kommende Unterseite 10 (siehe Fig. 3) auf.
Die Schaumstoffstreifen 5, 6 sind durch eine zugleich die Oberseite 9 bildende Klebelage 11 zusammengehalten. Die Klebelage 11 besteht beim Ausführungsbeispiel aus einer doppelseitigen Selbstklebeschicht, wobei der Klebstoff beispielsweise in ein Vliesmaterial oder Gewebematerial getränkt vorgesehen sein kann.

Claims (7)
