Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cleaning device with a flood chamber for receiving a workpiece to be cleaned and with a flooding device for flooding the flood chamber with a liquid cleaning agent.
  • flooding flooding chamber cleaning devices are known in the art.
  • the flood chamber is filled either by means of a pump with the cleaning agent, or the cleaning agent passes from a lying above the flood chamber storage tank by gravity into the flood chamber.
  • the emptying of the flood chamber is effected by gravity in a receiving container located below the flood chamber or by pumping by means of another pump.
  • the DE-B1-1 771 256 discloses a cleaning device according to the preamble of claim 1, wherein the cleaning liquid is sucked from a container into a flood chamber by means of a membrane vacuum pump.
  • the DE-A1-30 09 313 discloses a cleaning device with a multi-part flood chamber for receiving workpieces to be cleaned, in which the workpieces can be drawn by means of a vacuum in the flood chamber and can be dried under vacuum after a cleaning process while flooding the flood chamber.
  • the flood chamber is flooded not by reducing the pressure in the flood chamber, but by means of a pump for the supply of detergent and a pump for the supply of silicone oil.
  • the U.S. Patent 5,839,457 discloses a simple, hand-operated cleaning device in which a negative pressure for generating a flow of a rinsing liquid from a first reservoir into a second reservoir by the enlargement of a, for example, bellows-shaped, reservoir is generated.
  • the DE-A1-44 46 587 discloses a cleaning device with a flood chamber, in which a spray nozzle arrangement is provided for applying a cleaning liquid to a workpiece to be cleaned.
  • the US-A1-2006 / 0151001 discloses a cleaning device with a flood chamber for receiving a workpiece to be cleaned, with a flooding device for flooding the flood chamber with a liquid detergent and a detergent reservoir, the flood chamber is connectable to the detergent reservoir and the cleaning device comprises a device for reducing the pressure in the flood chamber to hold a workpiece to be cleaned by a suction force on the flood chamber, and wherein the flood chamber is completely submerged in the detergent reservoir during the flood process.
  • the US-A-1983931 discloses a cleaning device according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method of cleaning according to the preamble of claim 15.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a cleaning device of the type mentioned, which is simple and their flood chamber quickly filled and emptied again.
  • the cleaning device according to the invention has the advantage that neither an overhead storage tank nor a filling pump or an emptying pump for the flood chamber are needed.
  • the detergent Due to the difference between the external pressure acting on the detergent reservoir, and the internal pressure in the flood chamber, the detergent is forced into the flood chamber and rises therein to a level corresponding to the differential pressure.
  • the emptying of the flood chamber can be done in a simple manner in that the blower is disabled or separated from the flood chamber, so that the pressure in the flood chamber rises again and the sucked detergent falls back under gravity into the detergent reservoir.
  • the cleaning agent is in the cleaning device according to the invention after the end of a flood washing cycle back into the detergent reservoir, as at the beginning of the flood washing cycle, while in the known cleaning devices in which the detergent from a above the flood chamber storage tank filled in the flood chamber and after the Flutwaschvorgang is emptied into a lying below the flood chamber collecting container, the detergent must be pumped back before the start of a new flood washing operation in the overhead storage tank.
  • the flood chamber has a bottom-side inlet opening for the entry of detergent from the detergent reservoir into the flood chamber.
  • the bottom-side inlet opening extends over almost the entire horizontal cross-section of the flood chamber.
  • the flood chamber is partially immersed in the detergent in the detergent reservoir during the flood process.
  • the detergent from the detergent reservoir can rise directly into the flood chamber, without the detergent must pass through an intermediate line system, which would entail friction losses and small cross-sections fürströmbare.
  • the flood chamber comprises a bottom-side inlet opening for the entry of cleaning agent from the cleaning agent reservoir and during the flooding process the bottom-side inlet opening is immersed in the cleaning agent in the cleaning agent reservoir.
  • the detergent reservoir is preferably in communication with the ambient atmosphere, so that the external pressure of the ambient air acts on the detergent reservoir.
  • the flood chamber In order to bring the workpiece to be cleaned in the flood chamber, it can be provided that the flood chamber from a rest position outside of the detergent reservoir into a working position, in which the flood chamber is at least partially immersed in the detergent reservoir, is movable relative to the detergent reservoir.
  • the flood chamber is designed in several parts and can be closed by movement of at least two flood chamber parts relative to each other before the flooding process.
  • the internal pressure in the flood chamber against the external pressure by at least 200 mbar, preferably by at least 400 mbar, can be lowered ,
  • the cleaning agent By lowering the internal pressure in the flood chamber relative to the external pressure, the cleaning agent is pressed by the pressure of the ambient air into the flood chamber until the filling level of the cleaning agent within the flood chamber corresponds to the difference between the external pressure and the internal pressure.
  • the blower has a throughput of at least about 300 m 3 / h, preferably of at least 600 m 3 / h.
  • the fan is designed as a side channel compressor.
  • Side channel blowers are particularly suitable for generating high differential pressures and thus low internal pressure in the flood chamber.
  • a propeller washing device can be arranged in the flood chamber which, when the flood chamber is flooded, generates an impurity from the flow separating the workpiece to be cleaned.
  • At least one spray nozzle arrangement can be provided in the flood chamber.
  • This spray nozzle arrangement can be used to apply a high-pressure cleaning agent jet to the workpiece to be cleaned in the case of a flooded flood chamber.
