Description

The invention relates to a needle bar for a chain line, in particular a textile machine. It further relates to a chain link with a number of such needle bars. A chain line with a large number of such needle bars is used in machines for combing, post-combing and in spin preparation.

Such a needle bar, which is often referred to as a disposable needle bar, is known, for example, from US Pat US 2005/0278899 A1 known. In the known needle bar, a series of needles is surrounded by a sheath which holds them and at the same time encloses a support bar with at least partially a wall thickness of only 1 mm. The diameter of the support bar can be between 6 mm and 8 mm. With a carrier rod with a diameter of 8 mm, the resulting needle bar thus achieves a total diameter of at least 10 mm, so that such a needle bar is no longer suitable for use in standardized chains with a chain pitch of 9.525 mm.

The invention has for its object to provide a particularly suitable needle bar for a chain link, in particular with a chain pitch of 9.525 mm.

This object is achieved by a needle bar according to claim 1. For this purpose, the needle bar on a support rod with a rod diameter of 5.9 mm to 6.1 mm, while the wall thickness of the jacket in the thinnest wall region is between 1.4 mm and 1.8 mm. The needle bar has a distance between the longitudinal axis of the needles and the longitudinal axis of the carrier rod of more than 2.15 mm, in particular 2.75 mm. The thus increased needle offset, ie the approach of the longitudinal axis of the needles of the needle bar to a take-off roll of the chain line in the region of the exit of the fiber material to be processed, causes a quality improvement of the sliver.

Particularly preferred is a rod diameter of 6.0 mm. For at least slightly below the chain pitch of a number of such needle bars receiving chain line is in this preferred bar diameter, the wall thickness of the casing at least in the thin-walled region preferably 1.6 mm. Under the chain pitch here is the distance of the central longitudinal axes of adjacent needle bars understood, which are used in a chain of a chain line of a textile machine.

The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that a trained in the specified ranges of the rod diameter and the sheath thickness needle bar has a comparatively low total weight and thus is particularly easy. In addition, a suitably trained needle bar is so flexible that the forces acting on the needles during normal use are damped. In the area of the greatest deflection, the needle bar can be supported against the needle bar adjacent to the chain track, whereby the forces occurring are gently passed on to the chain and to the advancing drive.

Fig. 1 shows a needle bar 1 for a chain line 8 ( Fig. 4 ) in two different views. The needle bar has a support rod 2, which is formed at one end to a crank 2a and at the end facing away from the crank 2a is provided with a bearing bore 2b. The support rod 2 is enclosed by a casing 4, which is formed on one side as a rib 4b. In this a plurality of needles 3 are held in a row along the Trägerstablängsachse 6. The sheath 4 consists of a plastic material that is applied in the injection process by inserting the needles 3 on the support rod 2. On the section of the support bar 2 located between the crank 2a and the rib 4b, two guide grooves 7 are formed in pairs.

Fig. 2 zeigt die geschnittene Ansicht eines Nadelstabes. Fig. 2 shows the sectional view of a needle bar. Inside the cut is the support rod 2, which is characterized by its diameter d. Relative to the Trägerstablängsachse 6 is opposite the rib 4b designed as the part of the sheath 4 of the thinnest wall portion 4a of the casing 4. This thin-walled portion 4a of the casing 4 extends at least over half the rod circumference of the needle bar 1, ie at least on the below in the illustration the longitudinal axis 6 extending center line M of the support rod 2 lying, semi-circular arc portion of the needle bar first

The distance a referred to below as the needle offset between the longitudinal axis of each needle 5 and the Trägerstablängsachse 6 results as a difference of the radius' D / 2 of the needle bar 1 and the half thickness m / 2 of the rib 4b. With a rib thickness m = 3.7 mm results in the preferred embodiment with a support rod diameter d = 6.0 mm and a wall thickness of the jacket of 1.6 mm in the thinnest region 4a, a needle offset of a = 2.75 mm.

Fig. 3 shows the arrangement of two needle bars 1 in a chain line 8 with a (not shown) chain. The distance designated as t between the Trägerstablängsachsen 6 corresponds to the so-called chain pitch of the chain used in the chain line 10. The chain pitch of the preferred chain is t = 9.525 mm.

Fig. 4 shows the arrangement of a number of needle bars 1 in a chain line 8 with two chains 9 of a textile machine. In this case, A indicates the feed direction of the chain path 8. At the end of the chain section 8 there are a take-off roller 10 and two further rollers 11, 12 for the feed of the processed in a manner not shown in the textile machine material.

The needles 3 of the needle bars 1 used in the chain section 8 are up to the outlet v before the take-off roll 10 in engagement with the material to be processed. Due to the enlargement of the needle offset a from 2.15 mm to 2.9 mm, the outlet width v in front of the take-off roll 10 is reduced by 0.75 mm. It is thereby achieved that the needles 3 of the needle bars 1 are temporally and / or spatially comparatively long in engagement with the material to be processed, which in turn leads to an improvement in the quality of the material to be fibrillated.
