- a headlamp setting device is known by means of which can be readjusted in the context of maintenance of the headlamp in workshops of the headlights.
- the light sources of a light function such as the low beam function, synchronously adjusted by a horizontal axis.
- a headlight for vehicles in which a plurality of light sources are mounted on a common support frame.
- the light sources are grouped switched on and off, so that different light functions, such as low beam, highway, high beam functions are adjustable.
- An independent spatial adjustment of the light sources to each other to produce different light characteristics or light functions is not provided in the known headlights.
- Object of the present invention is to develop a headlight for vehicles such that the basic adjustment of the headlamp or the adjustment of a light-dark boundary of the headlamp is improved, especially in a plurality of light sources.
- the invention in conjunction with the preamble of claim 1, characterized in that a plurality of at least one light source having light modules are provided which are mounted relative to each other adjustable to set the predetermined cut-off.
- the particular advantage of the invention is that light modules of the headlamp, each serving to generate a given light function or a partial characteristic of a light function, are independently adjustable in a room, so that a predetermined bright-dark boundary of a given light function in an optimal manner is adjustable.
- a reproducible cut-off line can be realized, wherein in particular manufacturing tolerances of the light modules can be compensated during the production thereof.
- an optical element of the light module can be adjustably arranged, so that the light source itself can be fixedly arranged on a base plate or fixed to the support frame.
- an intermediate plate receiving in each case at least one light-emitting diode designed as a light-emitting diode can be designed to be displaceable on a base plate transversely to a main emission direction of the light-emitting diode.
- the intermediate plate can be adjustable from a rear side of the base plate by means of fastening elements or adjusting elements provided for this purpose.
- the light sources can be mounted on individual carriers, which are arranged adjustable relative to a support frame transversely to the main emission direction.
- the light source upstream optical element may be arranged fixed to the support frame.
- the entire light module consisting of individual carrier, light source and upstream optical element can be arranged to be adjustable.
- the support frame is arranged in the main emission behind the light module.
- FIG. 1 a shows a light distribution of a low-beam function before basic adjustment of a plurality of light modules
- FIG. 1b shows a light distribution of the low beam function after basic adjustment of the light modules
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic side view of a headlamp according to a first embodiment
- FIG. 3 shows a schematic side view of a headlamp according to a second embodiment
- Figure 4 is a schematic side view of a headlamp according to a third embodiment and Figure 5 is a schematic side view of a headlamp according to a fourth embodiment.
- a headlight 1 for vehicles has a plurality of light modules 2, which are each attached to a common support frame or support plate 3.
- a heat sink is integrated in the support plate 3, on the front side of a plurality of each of the light modules 2 associated and in each case as light emitting diodes (LED lighting elements) formed light sources 4 are arranged.
- the LED lighting elements 4 are each preceded in the main emission 5 convex decoupling surfaces 6 having optical elements 7, which are arranged on fastening webs 8 spaced from a front side of the support plate 3.
- the attachment webs 8 each of an optical element 7 are mounted mechanically or electrically displaceable relative to the support plate 3 in the main emission direction 5, so that light cone 9 produced by adjustment of the optic element 7 is displaceably arranged on each of the measurement screens shown in FIGS. 1a and 1b are.
- the optical element T of a first light module 2 ' the light cone 9' generated by it can be raised to such an extent that a horizontal light / dark boundary HDG is generated on a road side associated with oncoming traffic.
- the light module 2 ' generates a partial characteristic of a low beam function, which is shown in Figure 1 b.
- the light module 2 ' is adjustably mounted independently of an adjacent light module 2 ", so that the light cones 9, 9', 9" produced by the light modules 2, 2 ', 2 "can be superposed to form the light cone given light-dark border HDG.
- the low beam function can be generated by superposition of four light cones 9, wherein in the other figures, for example, only three light modules 2 are shown.
- the carrying plate 3 in Figure 2 is associated with a headlight range controller 10, which can pivot in a known manner, the support plate 3 about a horizontal axis for vertical displacement of the light-dark boundary HDG in Figure 1 b.
- the adjustment of light modules 12 can be effected by mechanical or electrical displacement of an intermediate plate 13, on which at least one LED lighting element 4 of the light module 12 is arranged.
- the intermediate plates 13 of the light modules 12 are arranged on the common support plate 3 of the headlamp 1.
- the same components or component functions of the first and second embodiments of the headlamp 1 are provided with the same reference numerals.
- the support plate 3 forms a base plate, at the rear side fasteners, such as screws are arranged by means of which the intermediate plate 13 transversely to the main radiation 5, that is displaceable in the vertical and horizontal directions, on the base plate 3 is adjustable.
- Each of the light modules 12 associated optical elements 7 are fixedly mounted on the base plate 3 by means of a common optical holder 14.
- the headlamp leveler 10 is coupled in a known manner to the base plate 3.
- a light module 16 additionally comprises, in addition to the LED luminous element 4 and the optical element 7, a single body 17 which is mounted on a common support frame 3 transversely to the main emission direction 5, preferably in the horizontal and vertical directions.
- a heat sink is integrated and on a front in the main emission direction 5 side, the LED light-emitting element 4 is mounted on the same.
- the individual body 17 is mechanically coupled to the support frame 3 via screws 18. From a rear side of the headlamp 1 ago, the screws 18 are mechanically actuated by means of an auxiliary tool. Alternatively, the screws 18 can also be electrically operated. be workable.
- the headlamp leveler 10 may be coupled to the support frame 3.
- the optical elements 7 are fixed via connecting webs 19 with the support frame
- the headlamp leveler 10 is coupled to the support frame 22 in a known manner.
- the light modules can be controlled relative to each other adjustable to produce a cornering light.
