Abstract

Plate unit, in particular for a cooking device (10), comprising a transparent base element (18) with a visible side (50) and a rear side (52), arranged opposite the visible side (50), a metal-like layer (54) and at least one decorative portion (32, 34, 36), which are arranged behind the rear side (52), as viewed from the visible side (50). In order to achieve a durable decorative portion, it is proposed that the metal-like layer (54) has a portion (56) that at least partially covers over the decorative portion (32, 34, 36) from the rear, as viewed from the visible side (50).

Description

The invention relates to a hob plate unit, for a cooking device, according to claim 1.

It is from the patent DE 100 14 373 C2 a hob with a glass ceramic plate is known which has a metal-like layer applied to its rear side. In addition, large-scale decors are also attached to the back.

The utility model letter DE 20 2004 015 925 U1 discloses a cooktop panel unit having a transparent base body, a decor portion and a metal-like layer.

The object of the invention is to provide a generic disk unit in terms of a durable decoration.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1, while advantageous embodiments and modifications of the invention can be taken from the dependent claims.

The metal-like layer has sections that cover the decorative sections, viewed from the visible side, from behind. The following statements regarding a decorative section refer to the decorative sections of claim 1. It can thereby be achieved an advantageous protection of the decorative section. The hob unit can be used in an induction, electric or gas stove. The decorative section preferably forms a line-like decorative motif which serves to indicate a specific functional zone of the plate unit, in particular a cooking zone, a display zone in which information can be displayed. The functional zone is preferably associated with a functional component of the cooking device, such as e.g. a radiator, a display element, etc. The decor portion may also represent a label of the transparent base, e.g. serves to indicate a specific function and / or an operation of a control element arranged on the main body. Further, the decorative portion may be formed as an aesthetic ornament of the main body. The cooktop unit may comprise a plurality of decorative sections, each having a different color. You can also choose multiple colors for a decor section. Preferably, the decorative portion is made of an organic solution, in particular an organometallic solution, whereby manufacturing costs can be reduced.

Under a transparent body is to be understood a body made of a material which is permeable at least for visible light. Advantageously, the material is additionally permeable to infrared radiation, which is particularly suitable for use of the hob plate unit for a heating device having a cooking device. In this context, a permeable material is to be understood as meaning a material having a permeability which is greater than 10% and preferably greater than 30% and particularly preferably greater than 50%. The transparent base body is preferably made of glass or of glass ceramic. Furthermore, a metal-like layer is to be understood as meaning a layer of a material which has at least one metallic property. For this, the layer may be e.g. of a metal, a solution containing a metal, a metallic polymer, an organic metal, etc. The visible side of the basic body is to be understood as meaning a side of the basic body which faces the operator when the panel unit is used by an operator. The visible side is designed as a support surface for the placement of cookware.

In this connection, it is proposed that the decor section is printed on the back side. As a result, a simple application of the decorative section to the rear side can be achieved by means of conventional methods, wherein an additional fastening means for fastening the decorative section, e.g. for the production of a material connection, can be avoided. Preferably, the decorative portion is applied by an enamel method on the back, whereby a particularly durable decorative section can be achieved.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the metal-like layer bears against the rear side, as a result of which a compact construction of the plate unit can be achieved.

Conveniently, the rear side is coated with the metal-like layer, whereby a particularly firm holding of the metal-like layer can be achieved at the rear without the use of additional fastening means. The hob plate unit is preferably produced by an application, in particular a printing of the decorative section on the rear side, and then by a coating of the rear side with the metal-like layer, whereby a particularly advantageous embedding of the decorative section can be achieved in the metal-like layer. In order to achieve a high homogeneity of the metal-like layer, this coating can advantageously be carried out in one production step. After coating the rear side with the metal-like layer, the metal-like layer can be coated with a further protective layer, whereby an advantageous protection of the metal-like layer can be achieved in a further processing of the cooking plate unit or its assembly, in a cooking device. The metal-like layer may be made of an inorganic solution. Preferably, the metal-like layer is made of an organic, in particular an organometallic solution, whereby manufacturing costs can be reduced.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is proposed that the metal-like layer is formed as metal pieces, whereby a simple production of the disk unit can be achieved. Advantageously, a long lasting piece of metal can be obtained if it is made of a noble metal, such as a metal. made of platinum, silver, copper, etc. Alternatively, the metal piece may have a base body which is coated with a layer of a noble metal. The metal piece can be attached by gluing to the back of the body. Alternatively or additionally, it can be pressed by means of a fastening means and / or by its own force against the rear side of the base body.

The decorative section is integrated in the metal piece, whereby a particularly long-lasting decorative section can be achieved. The decor portion may be disposed in a space recessed from one side of the metal piece from the metal piece.

The decor portion is at least partially embedded in the metal-like layer. This allows a particularly high protection of the decorative section can be achieved. A partial embedding of the decorative section in the metal-like layer may be understood to mean at least partial embrace of the decorative section by a material of the metal-like layer. In an advantageous development of the invention, it is proposed that the main body comprises a functional zone and the metal-like layer has a recessed area which is assigned to the functional zone. A functional zone is to be understood in particular as a region which is assigned to a functional component of a device in which the hob plate unit is inserted. As a result, an undesired effect of the metal-like layer on a function of the functional component and / or an effect of the functional component on the metal-like layer can be advantageously reduced.

The functional zone may e.g. a cooking zone as a support surface for laying a cookware, which is associated with a radiator of the cooking device. By the recessed portion of the metal-like layer in the region of the cooking zone, an undesirable heating of the metal-like layer and energy losses can be reduced. This is particularly suitable when the metal-like layer is formed as a metal piece. The region may be recessed over part of the thickness, or it may be recessed over the entire thickness of the metal-like layer, forming an opening of the layer.

Preferably, the metal-like layer is made of a material containing a noble metal. As a result, a particularly durable metal-like layer can be achieved.

It is also proposed a cooking device according to claim 12. It can be achieved a cooking device with a long-lasting decor section, whereby a high ease of use of the cooking device can be achieved.

FIG. 1 shows a cooking device designed as a hob 10 with a hob plate unit 12 and a frame 14 to which the hob plate unit 12 is attached. The cooking device 10 is integrated in a worktop 16 ( FIG. 2 ). The frame 14 is made of a stainless material such as stainless steel or aluminum. The hob plate unit 12 comprises a formed as a glass ceramic plate base body 18. The main body 18 has a plurality of functional zones 20, 22, 24, 26, which are designated by decorative sections 28 a, 30 a, 32 a, 34 a, 36 a of the cooking plate unit 12. The functional zones 20, 22, 24, 26 are designed as cooking zones and provide for this purpose in each case a support surface for placing a cookware, which is associated with a below the base body 18 arranged radiator of the cooking device 10. This radiator is eg a heating resistor or a heating coil. The decor sections 28a, 30a, 32a, 34a, 36a are formed as line-like motifs. The functional zones 20, 22, 24, 26 are designated in particular with the aid of closed, curved contours, in particular with the aid of circles. Further decorative sections 38a, 40a of the hob plate unit 12 can be seen, each of which designates a functional zone 42 or 44 of the main body 18. These functional zones 42, 44 are designed as display zones, within which information can be displayed to an operator during operation of the cooking appliance 10 with the aid of a display (not shown) arranged below the main body 18 or integrated in the main body 18. The decorative sections 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 are, viewed from the perspective of an operator, behind the main body 18 (see FIG. 2 ), which is transparent especially for visible light. The arrangement of the decorative sections 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 behind the main body 18 particularly durable decorative sections can be achieved. In particular, wear by repeated contact with hot cooking utensils or the use of detergents can be avoided.

In FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the cooking device 10 designed as a hob along a line II-II ( FIG. 1 ). The cooking device 10 is arranged in a recess of the worktop 16. The frame 14 has a support portion 46 for supporting the cooking apparatus 10 on the worktop 16. This is formed by an extension 48 of the frame 14. The decorative sections 28a, 30a, 32a, 34a, 36a, 38a, 40a are made of a preferably inorganic temperature-resistant paint. All the decorative sections may be the same color, or they may be made using different colors, e.g. a distinction can be made between the respective functions of the functional zones designated by the decorative sections.

The cooktop panel unit 12 further comprises a metal-like layer 54 a, which is applied to the rear side 52 of the base body 18. The metal-like layer 54a is made of a, preferably inorganic, solution which is a noble metal, e.g. Platinum, includes, manufactured. Alternatively, the metal-like layer 54a may be made of an organometallic solution. The metal-like layer 54a has, in the representation not encompassed by the support region, a continuous section 56a which continuously covers the rear side 52 of the main body 18. The metal-like layer 54a according to the invention, not shown in detail, has a plurality of individual sections, which are separated from one another and each cover one of the decorative sections 32a, 34a, 36a from the rear, whereby a further emphasis on the functional zones 20, 22, 24, 26, 42, 44 of the cooking device 10 can be achieved. In this case, the section 56a covers the decorative sections 32a, 34a, 36a, viewed from the visible side 50, from behind, whereby an advantageous protection of the decorative sections 32a, 34a, 36a can be achieved. By the metal-like layer 54a, in addition to the protection of the decorative sections 32a, 34a, 36a, a further decorative precious metal-like effect can be achieved. It is also conceivable that further sections of the metal-like layer 54a are applied to the section 56a. In particular, further sections of the metal-like layer 54a can be applied to the section 56a, by which a brightness contrast between the functional zones 20, 22, 24, 26, 42, 44 and a gap between these functional zones can be achieved.

When making the disk unit FIG. 2 First, the decor sections 28a, 30a, 32a, 34a, 36a, 38a, 40a are printed on the rear side 52. In a further production step, the rear side 52, on which these decorative sections have already been applied, is coated with the metal-like layer 54a. Claims (13)

1. Cooker hob plate unit comprising a transparent base body (18) with a viewing side (50) and a rear side (52) arranged opposite the viewing side (50), a metal-like layer (54a) and a plurality of decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) differing from the metal-like layer (54a), which as considered from the viewing side (50) are arranged behind the rear side (52), wherein the metal-like layer (54a) has a plurality of individual sections (56a) which as considered from the viewing side (50) cover the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) from behind, and the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) lie against the rear side (52), wherein the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) are embedded in recesses in the metal-like layer (54a), wherein the plurality of individual sections (56a) are separated from one another and each cover one of the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) from behind.

6. Cooker hob plate unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base body (18) comprises a functional zone (24, 26) and the metal-like layer (54a) has a cut-out region with which the functional zone (24, 26) is associated.
7. Cooker hob plate unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the metal-like layer (54a) can be produced from a material containing a noble metal.
8. Cooker hob plate unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) can be applied to the rear side (52) by an enamelling method.
9. Cooker hob plate unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the metal-like layer (54a) can be produced from an organic solution.
10. Cooker hob plate unit according to claim 9, characterised in that the metal-like layer (54a) can be produced from an organometallic solution.
11. Cooker hob plate unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a) form a lineal decorative motif.

Cooker hob plate unit according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that in a sectional plane perpendicular to the rear side (52) and along a line (II-II) the metal-like layer (54a) has greater dimensions perpendicularly to the rear side (52) than the decorative sections (32a, 34a, 36a).
