It is proposed that the coating unit has at least a second partial coating, which is arranged at least on a part of an edge side of the hob plate unit. A "cooking plate unit" is to be understood in particular as a plate unit, which is provided for setting up cooking utensils for heating and / or heating by at least one heating element, in particular induction heating element, which is arranged in particular under the plate unit, wherein energy from the heating element to the Gargeschirr preferably through the plate unit, in particular in the form of electromagnetic radiation, is transmitted. A "plate unit" should in particular be understood as a unit which has a thickness which corresponds to a maximum of 10%, in particular a maximum of 5%, advantageously a maximum of 2%, preferably a maximum of 1%, of a width and / or length of the plate unit. In particular, the disk unit has a main body which fills at least 30%, in particular at least 60%, advantageously at least 90%, of a smallest imaginary cuboid completely enclosing the disk unit. A "thickness" of the disk unit is to be understood in particular to mean a length of a shortest side of the smallest imaginary cuboid which constitutes the Complete disk unit. In particular, "lengths" and / or "widths" of the disk unit are understood to mean lengths of pages that are different from the shortest side. The hob plate unit is at least substantially formed of an at least glass-like material, in particular glass ceramic and / or borosilicate glass, alternatively of a composite material, in particular embedded in silicate matrix fibers, in particular stone fibers. The hob plate unit is at least substantially formed by at least one at least substantially transparent material. In particular, the plate unit has at least one, at least substantially flat, side surface, which preferably forms an upper side. An "upper side" of the hob plate unit is to be understood, in particular, as an outer side of the hob plate unit which, in at least one operating state, faces a cooking utensil to be heated. The inventive design can be achieved in particular an increased comfort and / or increased creative freedom. In particular, a uniform appearance can be achieved. In particular, an insight into an interior of a cooktop having the hob through an edge side of an at least partially transparent cooktop unit can be avoided. Advantageously, the first and second part coating adjoin one another, whereby a particularly uniform appearance can be achieved. In particular, the partial coatings merge into one another and / or are at least materially connected to one another. By the fact that two sub-coatings "adjoin one another" should be understood in particular that touch the sub-coatings along at least one contact surface.

At least the first partial coating, in particular both of the partial coatings, is formed by an at least email-like material. An "enamel-like" material is to be understood as meaning, in particular, a material which, at least in a hardened state, has a glassy and / or enamel-like appearance. In particular, the partial coating is formed from molten glass and / or ceramic frits which have been applied to the partial area and fused into a uniform layer. In particular, a homogeneous and / or hard surface can be achieved. In particular, a high degree of flexibility in a color choice can be achieved. In particular, a ceramic appearance of the disk unit may be generated. In particular, a high total rigidity and / or flexibility of the disk unit can be achieved. Alternatively and / or additionally, it is conceivable that at least one of the partial coatings, in particular at least the second partial coating, is formed from a stable, preferably thermally, in particular up to temperatures of 300 ° C., polymer, in particular a resin. The partial coating preferably has a Mohs hardness of at least 5, advantageously at least 6, preferably at least 7.

Furthermore, it is proposed that at least the first part coating extends over at least 50%, advantageously at least 80%, preferably at least 95%, of the entire upper side of the cooktop plate unit. In particular, the first part coating at least substantially touches each transition point between the top and the edge side. In particular, a high surface continuity can be achieved. In particular, a high durability can be achieved.

Furthermore, it is proposed that at least the second partial coating extend over at least substantially an entire edge side, in particular over at least 50%, advantageously at least 80%, preferably at least 95%, of the edge side of the hob plate unit. In particular, the second part coating at least substantially touches each transition point between the top and the edge side. In particular, a high surface continuity can be achieved. In particular, a high durability can be achieved.

Advantageously, starting materials of the first partial coating and the second partial coating are applied and / or cured with different processes, in particular at least one printing process, in particular an ink-jet printing process and / or screen printing, and / or a spraying process, in particular successively. In particular, the partial coatings are formed by applying coating base material contained in suspension and / or solution, wherein in a subsequent process at least solvent and / or carrier are volatilized and / or constituents of the coating base material enter into compounds with each other. In particular, a cheap and / or efficient method can be achieved. By means of a printing process, in particular a high degree of flexibility with regard to applicable patterns with respect to position and / or color can be achieved. In particular, a high efficiency can be achieved by means of a spraying process, which in particular serves at least for the application of the second partial coating.

The figures show no recess according to the invention, but serve to illustrate the invention.

FIG. 1 shows a cooktop 10 designed as an induction cooktop with a cooktop plate device 12 designed as an induction cooktop plate device.

The cooktop panel apparatus 12 includes a cooktop panel unit 14 and a coating unit 16. Under the cooktop unit 14 arranged heating elements are indicated by dashed lines. The coating unit 16 has a first partial coating 18 which extends over an entire upper surface 19 of the cooking plate unit 14. The coating unit 16 has a second partial coating 20, which is arranged on an entire edge side 21 of the hob plate unit 14 ( FIG. 2 ). The cooking plate unit 14 has a thickness of 4 mm. The first and second partial coating 18, 20 adjoin one another. The partial coatings 18, 20 touch each other along an entire transition region 22 between the upper side 19 and the edge side 21. The first and second partial coatings 18, 20 are materially bonded to one another since material of the partial coatings 18, 20 were easily mixed when applied in the transition region 22. As a result of the fact that the first partial coating 18 continues around edges of the hob plate unit 14 through the second partial coating 20, a high durability of the first partial coating 18 can be achieved due to a lower danger of splitting off.

In alternative embodiments of unclaimed examples, it is conceivable that a further partial coating, which advantageously merges into the second partial coating, at least partially covers an underside of the hob plate unit, in particular at least in an edge region, in order in particular to achieve a clean finish. Furthermore, it is conceivable that in further embodiments, only a part of the edge side, in particular at least one viewing area, which in particular excludes a rear part of the edge side, is covered with the second partial coating.

The first and second sub-coatings 18, 20 are formed from a substantially similar material that differs only in color pigments added to a base material. Both partial coatings 18, 20 are formed by enamel.

When fabricated, material of the first subcoat 18 is first applied to the top surface 19 by an ink jet printing process that provides high flexibility in possible patterns, images, and / or gradients. In a further step, material of the second partial coating 20 is applied to the edge side 21 in a spraying process. During spraying, application of additional material to the upper side 19 is at least substantially avoided by means of a mask. The applied materials of the two partial coatings 18, 20 are then converted into enamel in a single firing process.

The partial coatings 18, 20 are intended to arouse a ceramic appearance by their coloring. By enveloping the visible sides of the cooking plate unit 14, a, in particular transparent and / or unsightly, material of the cooking plate unit 14 can be hidden.

In alternative unclaimed methods, it is conceivable that the first part coating is cured, in particular fired, before the second part coating is applied. After application of material to the edge side by means of spraying process, the first part coating can be freed from any additionally applied material. Subsequently, the second part coating is cured or fired.

Furthermore, it is conceivable that both partial coatings are applied in a spray process, wherein in particular a detailed pattern and / or fine structures is dispensed with in order, for example, to produce a ceramic appearance. Furthermore, embodiments of the hob plate unit are conceivable, wherein at least the first part coating recesses, in particular for displaying cooking zones and / or creating a viewing and / or operating area for a display, in particular a touch display, wherein according to the invention a recess for creating a viewing area for a display must be present.
