Damit das Wasser vollständig oder zumindest fast vollständig aus den Leitungen und der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung herausfließt, ist diese in einer vorteilhaften Ausführung zusätzlich belüftet. In
An der Austrittsöffnung 19 ist eine Leitung 16 angeschlossen, über die der Dampf oder einzuspülendes Wasser zur Düse 17 geleitet wird. Die Düse 17 ist im oberen Bereich am Rand der Öffnung 9 im Behandlungsraum, hier im Bereich der Dichtungsmanschette 6, angebracht, wobei die Düse 17 zum Inneren des Laugenbehälters 2 zeigt, so dass eine gute Dampfbesprühung der im Laugenbehälter 2 bzw. in der Trommel 3 befindlichen Wäsche 8 bereitgestellt wird. Eine Steuerung 29 steuert die Vorgänge für die Durchführung eines Wäschebehandlungsprogramms oder Waschprogramms und die Durchführung der Dampferzeugung, insbesondere das Ansteuern des Einlassventils 15 des Heizkörpers 26 und der Pumpe 21.At the
Die Pumpe 21 erhält das zu fördernde Wasser 27 aus einem Tank 22, der über das steuerbare Einlassventil 15 befüllt wird. Zur Bereitstellung der Hygieneanforderungen ist zwischen dem Einlassventil 15 und dem Tank 22 bzw. der Einlassleitung 22a im Bereich des Einspülkastens 11 eine freie Fließstrecke 11a angeordnet. In den Tank 22 ist ferner ein Tauchrohr 23 eingesetzt, welches über die Leitung 28 eine direkte Verbindung zu einer weiteren Einlassöffnung 24 der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 unter Umgehung der Pumpe 21 bereitstellt. Mit diesem Bypass wird ein Überlauf bereitgestellt, über den aus dem Tank 22 überlaufendes Wasser durch das Tauchrohr 23, durch die Verbindungsleitung 28 zur Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 und dann durch die Leitung 16 zur Düse 17 geführt und von dort aus in den Innenraum der Trommel 3 eingelassen wird. Nach dem Schließen des Einlassventils 15 läuft ein Teil des Wassers 27 aus dem Tank heraus, bis es das Niveau der Düse 17 erreicht hat. Die Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 ist in einer vorteilhaften Ausführung unter einem Gefälle zur Austrittsöffnung 19 angeordnet, so dass sie zumindest fast leerläuft, so dass eine Durchspülung erfolgt, wodurch Kalk- und Schmutzablagerungen in der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 verhindert bzw. zumindest vermindert werden. Damit das Wasser sicher und vollständig aus der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 und der Verbindungsleitung 28 herausläuft, wird diese Verbindungsleitung 28 zusätzlich belüftet. Hierbei ist im oberen Bereich der Verbindungsleitung ein Siphon 29 angebracht, der mit der Einlassleitung 22a verbunden ist und über die freie Fließstrecke 11a Luft in die Leitung 28 nachströmen lässt, wenn das zulaufende Wasser abgeschaltet ist bzw. das Einlassventil 15 geschlossen wird. Im Siphon 31 befindet sich eine Schwimmkugel 30, die während der Dampferzeugung durch den dabei entstehenden Druck gegen die obere Einlassöffnung des Siphons 31 gedrückt wird und somit ein unerwünschtes Herausströmen des Dampfes durch den Siphon 31 bzw. durch den Belüftungskanal verhindert. Während der Dampferzeugung wird durch das Tauchrohr der Dampfaustritt aus der weiteren Einlassöffnung 24 verhindert, wobei diese Anordnung wie ein weiterer Siphon wirkt, der bei einem zu hohen Druck den Dampf zurück in den Tank 22 strömen lässt. Mit der Anordnung wird ein Überdruckventil bereitgestellt, das einen zu hohen Druck in der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung 12 verhindert.The
