Claims (7)

Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Waschmaschine, insbesondere einer Trommelwaschmaschine, mit einer Waschtrommel zur Aufnahme der zu waschenden Wäsche , einer Zuführvorrichtung für Frischwasser, einem Laugenbehälter zur Aufnahme des Wasch- und Spülwassers, einer Heizvorrichtung für das Aufheizen des Wasch- und Spülwassers im Laugenbehälter, einer Dampferzeugungseinrichtung für die Zuführung von Dampf in die Waschtrommel, einer Pumpvorrichtung zum Abpumpen des Brauchwassers nach Beendigung des Waschvorgangs, einem Wasserstandssensor zur Regelung und Steuerung der programmgemäß vorgesehenen Wasserstände in der Maschine,
und mit einer Programmsteuereinrichtung zur Steuerung der Waschprogramme und Programmabläufe,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Dampferzeugungseinrichtung (7) mit Wasser zur Generierung von Dampf gespeist wird, welches von der im Laugenbehälter (4) angeordneten Heizvorrichtung (6) mindestens auf eine Temperatur erhitzt wurde, die ausreicht, um das Ausfällen von im Wasser gelösten Härtebildnern, insbesondere von Kalk zu bewirken.

dass das nach dieser Dampfbehandlung aufgeheizte und im Laugenbehälter (4) verbleibende Restwasser mittels einer Pumpvorrichtung (10) der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung (7) zwecks Generierung von Dampf zugeführt wird,
und dass der in der Dampferzeugungseinrichtung (7) mit diesem Wasser erzeugte Dampf in die Waschtrommel (5) geleitet wird.

dass von der Programmsteuereinrichtung (14) in Verbindung mit einem Druckwächter (13) der Wasserzulauf in den Laugenbehälter(4) derart steuerbar ist, dass die Heizvorrichtung (6) mit Wasser bedeckt ist und die zugelaufene Wassermenge auf eine Temperatur aufheizbar ist, bei der im Wasser gelöste Härtebilder, insbesondere der im Wasser gelöste Kalk, ausfällt und dass nach dem Erhitzen das im Laugenbehälter (4) verbleibende Wasser mittels einer Umwälzpumpe (10) in die Dampferzeugungseinheit (7) gepumpt wird, in der dieses Wasser für die Generierung von Dampf für den Dampfbehandlungsprozess genutzt wird.
