Definitions

  • the invention relates to a balloon limiter for a textile machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a balloon limiter is from the document FR 1 533 858 A known.
  • balloon limiters are used to narrow the formed by the running thread circulating thread balloon. Also on winding machines, the balloon behavior of the yarn withdrawn from the cop is influenced by means of the balloon limiter and the thread tension is kept low.
  • balloon limiters allows a reduction in the distance, referred to as spindle pitch, from spindle center to spindle center. In this way, more spindles can be arranged on a textile machine without lengthening the machine.
  • the DE 1510869 A shows a balloon limiter, whose cylindrical shell is formed by a ring.
  • the holder is made by solid patches that surround the balloon limiter on the entire circumference. The patches are each attached to one of two spaced running longitudinal profile carriers. This bracket is expensive.
  • the ring has to protect its position Umkantungen that prevent falling out of the filler. Such rings are made by forming processes such as extrusion or by welding.
  • Such designs require relatively thick sheet metal to ensure the stability of the balloon limiter.
  • Such a sheet thickness is also necessary for manufacturing reasons to be able to produce the balloon limiter as a deep-drawn part or to put a weld.
  • the width of the Umfalzung between 5 mm and 10 mm.
  • the sheet thickness of the metal strip from which the hollow cylinder is made is advantageously between 0.3 mm and 0.6 mm. This sheet thickness represents an optimum between low weight and dimensional stability.
  • a further increase in the stability of the cylindrical shape of the hollow cylinder can be achieved by bent at right angles to the outside end portions of the metal strip, which are pressed against each other.
  • the balloon limiter is designed in such a way that the end sections touch a frame wall of the textile machine and an electrically conductive connection is established by the contact, the undesired electrostatic charge of the balloon limiter caused by friction of the running thread on the hollow cylinder is dissipated.
  • the balloon limiter is preferably held by means of a holding element which presses the end sections against one another. Includes the holding element first planar contact surfaces with which it rests against the end portions and presses against each other, and at least a second concave contact surface, with which it rests against the outer surface of the cylinder, and the balloon limiter is fixed by means of connecting elements, the holding element and traverse the end portions, undergoes an inventive hollow cylinder additional stabilization.
  • the second contact surface, with which the holding element bears against the outer surface of the hollow cylinder is adapted to the curvature of the hollow cylinder.
  • the balloon limiter obtains a secure fit in the retaining element.
  • the holding element on position cam and holding magnets, with which it can be fixed to a frame wall of the textile machine.
  • the position cams of the holding element engage in corresponding position holes of the frame wall of the textile machine and allow fast and accurate positioning.
  • the holding magnets which are firmly connected to the holding element, together with the position cam ensure a secure fit of the balloon limiter.
  • the magnetic connection is easily solvable if necessary and without the use of tools.
  • the holding element made of plastic.
  • An embodiment of the retaining element made of plastic has little weight.
  • the holding element can be produced particularly inexpensively, for example as an injection molded part.
  • the hollow cylinder is made of thin stainless chromium-nickel steel, the wear resistance is high even without additional surface treatment.
  • FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 show a balloon limiter 1 for a textile machine with a hollow cylinder 2.
  • the hollow cylinder 2 is formed from a sheet metal strip.
  • the length of the metal strip is greater than the circumference of the hollow cylinder 2.
  • an edge strip 8, 9 is folded in each case.
  • the edge strip 8, 9 may have a width b of 5 mm to 10 mm.
  • An end section 3, 4 is formed at each of the two ends of the sheet metal strip from the longitudinal section of the sheet-metal strip extending beyond the circumference.
  • the two end portions 3, 4 are the same length, bent at right angles outwards and pressed against each other.
  • the end sections 3, 4 are both compressed by rivets 5 as well as firmly connected to an angled flap 6 of the frame wall 7 of the textile machine.
  • the hollow cylinder (2) is held in a simple manner by the outwardly bent end portions (3, 4) of the sheet metal strip.
  • the thin sheet metal strip may consist of a chromium-nickel sheet or of an aluminum sheet, on which a wear-reducing surface treatment has been made.
  • the balloon limiter 1 is inexpensive to manufacture and easy to assemble. Additional brackets are not needed.
  • the balloon limiter 1 is for the occurring stress through the circulating thread stable.
  • the balloon limiter 1 shown in the embodiment is formed from a sheet metal strip of chromium-nickel sheet, which is 0.4 mm thick.
  • the two edge strips 8, 9 of the sheet metal strip are folded over and then the cylindrical shape of the hollow cylinder 2 is formed with a three-roller machine by a rolling process, wherein the surface contour of the rollers is adapted to the contour of the Umfalzonne.
  • the folded edge strip 8, 9 ensures a high stability of the balloon limiter. 1
  • FIGS. 4 . 5 and 6 show a balloon limiter 12 which is supported by a two-piece retaining element 13.
  • Balonbegrenzer 12 is formed from a sheet metal strip of 0.4 mm thick chromium-nickel sheet.
  • At the top and bottom of the balloon restrictor 12 each have an edge strip 10, 11 folded over.
  • the edge strip 10, 11 may have a width b of 5 mm to 10 mm.
  • the right angles bent to the outside end portions 14, 15 are pressed against each other between the two sections 18, 19 of the holding element 13.
  • the hollow cylinder (23) is held by the end portions (14, 15) of the sheet metal strip.
  • the sections 18, 19 have continuous, mutually aligned bores 16, 17, through which engages each formed as a screw 20 connecting element.
  • a simple screw includes, for example, a screw with nut.
  • the sections 18, 19 are in each case with a first planar contact surface 21, 22 at the end portions 14, 15 at.
  • the pressing pressure, by which the end portions 14, 15 are pressed against each other, is generated by tightening the screw 20.
  • the sections 18, 19 of the retaining element 13 are located on the hollow cylinder 23, each with a concave second contact surface 24, 25.
  • the curvature of the concave contact surfaces 24, 25 is adapted to the curvature of the hollow cylinder 23.
  • the hollow cylinder 23 and the holding member 13 have the same height.
  • the length on which the concave contact surface 24, 25 rests on the outer circumference of the hollow cylinder 23 is represented in each case by the angle ⁇ .
  • the embodiment of the holding element 13 may alternatively be chosen so that the angle ⁇ assumes a value between 20 ° and 45 °. Due to the concave contact surfaces 24, 25, the hollow cylinder 23 undergoes support over its entire height, which stabilizes the cylindrical shape of the hollow cylinder 23.
  • a flat third contact surface 26, 27 has two position cams 28, 29.
  • the position cams 28, 29 engage in the positioning of the retaining element in holes 30, 31 of the frame wall 32.
  • In the contact surfaces 26, 27 each have at least one holding magnet 33, 34 is introduced.
  • the holding magnets 33, 34 adhere to the frame wall 32 and ensure a secure fit of the holding element 13.
  • the holding element 13 is an injection molded part made of plastic.
  • the end sections 14, 15 project somewhat beyond the third abutment surfaces 26, 27 of the retaining element 13, as in FIG FIG. 6 shown enlarged for clarity. This supernatant designated by a is very small and is for example 0.1 mm.
  • the projection a of the end sections 14, 15 ensures that the end sections 14, 15 are in contact with the frame wall 32 and an electrically conductive connection is made between the hollow cylinder 23 and frame wall 32.
  • the electrostatic charge which results from the friction of the rotating thread in the hollow cylinder 23, safe dissipated.
  • An electrostatic charge is undesirable because it promotes the disturbing deposition of dust and fiber fly on the inside of the hollow cylinder 23.
  • FIGS. 7 and 8 show a balloon limiter 35 with a one-piece holding element 36.
  • an edge strip 55, 56 is folded over in each case.
  • the edge strip 55, 56 may have a width b of 5 mm to 10 mm.
