  1.   2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the actuation panel (2) consists of a glass panel.
  3. Device according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the actuation panel (2) consists of safety glass.
  4. Device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the actuation panel (2) is flat and has a planar front face.
  5. Device according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the fixing element (3) is formed as a mounting frame that can be inserted in the main frame (1).
  6. Device according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the fixing element (3) and/or the main frame (1) is provided with clip elements (3.2) that are moulded in one piece.
  7. Device according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the fixing element (3) is provided with bolt-shaped guide elements (3.3) that are associated with recesses (1.7) that are formed in the main frame (1).
  8. Device according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that, on the front face thereof, the main frame (1) comprises a peripheral web (1.8) that encloses the actuation panel (2).
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterised in that the main frame (1) comprises a stop face (1.9) for the actuation panel (2) that is set back relative to the front face of the main frame, the web (1.8) projecting forwards relative to the stop face (1.9).
  10. Device according to either claim 8 or claim 9, characterised in that the main frame (1) or at least the web (1.8) of the main frame is chrome plated, silver coloured or black.
  11. Device according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the main frame (1) is provided with openings (1.5) for receiving bolts that can be connected to a cistern.
  12. Device according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the main frame (1) is provided with a shaft-shaped adapter (6) for fixing at an inspection opening of a built-in cistern.
  13. Device according to claim 12, characterised in that the main frame (1) can be connected to the adapter (6) in an interlocking manner.
  14. Device according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the actuation panel (2) is provided with at least two sensor keys that are linked to the control means (4), each of the sensor keys being associated with a symbol (2.3, 2.4) arranged on the front face (2.1) of the actuation panel (2).
  15. Device according to claim 14, characterised in that one of the sensor keys is associated with a full flush, and another of sensor keys is associated with a partial flush.
  16. Device according to claim 14, characterised in that one of the sensor keys is associated with a flush-stop function.
  17. Device according to any of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the main frame (1) is formed in one piece, or in multiple pieces.
  18. Device according to any of claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the main frame (1) is provided with detachable fixing means for removing the main frame.
