Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical connection line for an electrical unit of a motor vehicle, which serves the electrical connection of the unit with an arranged in the motor vehicle electrical energy source and / or with another electrical unit.
- connection line can be used in powered by an electric motor vehicles, with particular advantage in motor vehicles having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor.
- a corresponding motor vehicle has become known as a "hybrid car". It will be referred to in the following.
- a hybrid car is equipped with two different engines, an internal combustion engine (petrol or diesel) and an electric motor. In known technology can be optionally switched from one engine to the other. When operating the hybrid car with the electric motor, no exhaust gases. This is particularly advantageous in city operation.
- the electric motor is fed from a suitably sized power source. It can also be operated so that it generates an additional power at further working internal combustion engine, so that then both engines act as a drive of the hybrid car. This option can be particularly beneficial on inclines, but also in overtaking.
- the electric motor is in known technology, a three-phase motor, for its operation by an equally housed in a hybrid car, connected to an energy source inverter an alternating current is generated.
- the energy source is, for example, one of a plurality of capacitors (Ultracaps) existing energy storage, which may be housed for example in the trunk of a hybrid car.
- the capacity of the capacitors is sufficient for a short-term operation of the electric motor. They are recharged, for example, during the braking operation of the motor vehicle by the then acting as a generator electric motor.
- For the operation of the electric motor of the same is connected by means of an electrical connection line with the inverter, which in turn is connected via an electrical connection line to the energy storage. "Aggregates" are accordingly in particular the electric motor, the inverter and the energy storage. Interference-proof connection cables are required for the electrical connections of the units.
- an electrical lead is provided with a moisture-proof coupling member attached to one end thereof.
- This connection line is designed as a three-phase line with three insulated electrical conductors, which are surrounded by a completely enclosed electrical outer screen.
- the invention has for its object to make the initially described connection line so that it is electrically fully shielded for trouble-free operation of the motor vehicle including connected coupling elements.
- connection line according to the invention is designed as a three-phase line with three insulated electrical conductors, which are surrounded by a completely enclosed electrical outer screen, in which at least at one end a coupling element is mounted moisture-tight, in which each conductor one at its isolation has adjacent, completely enclosed individual electrical screen and in which the coupling element is equipped with mutually insulated, electrical contacts to which the electrical conductors whose individual screens and the outer shield are electrically connected.
- connection line meets all the requirements that are when using in a motor vehicle - hereinafter referred to as "vehicle” - put. It is electrically fully shielded including connected coupling elements electrically, so that emanating from the line no electromagnetic interference and no Radiation can penetrate into the same. This is true even if only one coupling element is attached to the line and the other end is connected in an aggregate. Since the coupling element or the coupling elements is moisture-tight connected to the line or are, it also meets all mechanical requirements for harsh environmental conditions when operating a vehicle.
- the individual screens of the conductors can in principle be connected together to a contact of a coupling element. However, they are in a preferred embodiment as well as the conductors and the outer screen separately connected to a separate contact. In this advantageous embodiment, the individual screens can also be used to monitor the functionality of the respective conductor. They are then connected to suitable sensors.
- Fig. 1 is a designed as a flat line, three-phase connection line L shown, in which three electrical conductors 1, 2 and 3 are arranged parallel to each other and lying in a plane. Each of the conductors 1, 2 and 3 is surrounded by an insulation 4, above each of which a single electric screen 5 is mounted.
- the three shielded conductors are surrounded by a common insulating body 6, over which an electrical outer shield 7 is arranged. To protect the outer shield 7 may be arranged on the same nor a jacket 8 made of insulating material.
- tensile elements such as threads of aramid, can be arranged as a strain relief for the connection line L.
- the conductors 1, 2 and 3 can be designed as a solid conductor or as a stranded conductor. They are preferably made of materials with high electrical conductivity according to EN or DIN.
- copper, aluminum or combined materials can be used, which can also contain silver or gold and in conjunction with zinc guarantee a high tensile strength for the conductor.
- a copper-plated steel wire or aluminum wire may be used as a conductor.
- electrical insulation materials can be used for the insulation 4 of the conductors 1, 2 and 3, in principle. These are for example with advantage polyvinyl chloride, rubber, silicone, polyethylene and polypropylene.
- the individual electrical screens 5 and the outer screen 7 may be designed as single or double braids of copper wires. But it can also be used metal foils, which are coated on one side with plastic, and one or two layers are wound around the insulation 4 of the conductors 1, 2 and 3.
- a coupling element K is moisture-proof connected, which is equipped with mutually insulated contacts 9.
- the contacts 9 may be designed as pins or sockets.
- the conductors 1, 2 and 3, the individual screens 5 and the outer screen 7 are connected to the contacts 9.
- the coupling element K has for simplicity not shown protection body made of insulating material, which is mounted moisture-proof by injection molding at the end of the connecting line L.
- the individual screens 5 and the outer screen 7 are at the same potential, preferably ground potential. They can therefore be connected together to a contact 9 of the respective coupling element K.
- connection line L as a flat cable to Fig. 1 are the conductors 1, 2 and 3 and thus their individual screens 5 by the insulating body 6 against each other and with respect to the outer shield 7 isolated.
- the individual screens 5, in particular in this embodiment of the connecting line L, can each be connected to a separate contact 9 of a coupling element K and optionally to a separate contact in an assembly of a vehicle. They can then be used individually to a sensor for monitoring the functionality of the associated conductor 1, 2 or 3. It can thus be found if necessary damage to the ladder 1, 2 and 3 easily and quickly.
- connection line L can be used in particular for connecting an electric motor of a vehicle to an inverter and for connecting the inverter to an energy store. It can be connected with advantage already at the manufacturer with the inverter and then has only at the free end a coupling element K for pluggable connection with another unit.
- connection line L in one embodiment of the connection line L as shown in FIG Fig. 2 the three conductors 1, 2 and 3 are stranded together. Their individual screens 5 lie against each other and the outer screen 7 is mounted directly around the individual screens 5 around.
- the connection line L, the outer shield 7 may also be designed as a closed tube, which preferably consists of copper and may be corrugated transversely to its longitudinal direction to improve its flexibility. Filling elements 11 in the interstices between the conductors 1, 2 and 3 serve to fill a possible circular cross section of the connecting line L. They can also be designed as tensile elements.
- a jacket 12 is disposed of insulating material. Since the screens 5 and 7 are at the same potential, preferably at ground potential, they can in this embodiment of the connection line L - as already mentioned - be connected to a common contact 9 of the respective coupling element K.
- connection line L to Fig. 2 with stranded, shielded conductors 1, 2 and 3 a single connection of the screens to the contacts 9 of a coupling element K or an aggregate 10 is possible.
- only one additional layer of insulating material needs to be applied to the galvanic separation of the screens above each individual screen 5.

Description

- In
