1 shows a tubular heater 1 two laterally arranged and vertically extending manifolds 2, 3 and associated laterally projecting heating tubes 4 with preferably arranged parallel to each other and horizontally extending pipe sections. The heating pipes 4 are arranged in blocks, wherein the pipe sections of the arranged in blocks heating pipes 4 are connected to the collecting pipes 2, 3 opposite side by a further manifold 3 '. According to the invention, the lower two heating pipes or pipe sections 4a, 4.b are connected in a fluid-conducting manner by means of 4 cross holes to the collecting pipes 2, 3. As a result, supply connection 5 and return connection 6 for the supply and discharge of a heating medium in the lower region of the headers 2, 3 are freely selectable. It can also be freely selected in one of the manifolds 2, 3, a lance valve or a Elektroheizeinsatz be introduced (not shown).
2, a further variant of the invention is shown, but with flow connection 5 and return connection 6 as pipe sections 5 ', 6' are formed, which are arranged almost centrally in the region of the lower two heating pipes or pipe sections 4a, 4.b. These are optionally fluid-conductively connected to the right or left header 2, 3.
In Fig. 3, another embodiment of the invention is shown. In this tubular heater 1, the vertically extending manifolds 2, 3 are connected to laterally projecting heating tubes 4 preferably arranged parallel to each other and horizontal pipe sections, which are formed as pipe bends. In this case, the lower and upper two heating pipes or pipe sections 4a, 4b, 4y, 4z are connected in a fluid-conducting manner by 4 cross holes each with the collecting pipes 2, 3. The tubular heater can be rotated by 180 °, so that it can be installed as both right and left radiator, ie lateral insertion of objects to be dried such as towels is feasible as required.
