Rohrabschnitte oder die unteren und oberen beiden Heizrohre bzw. Rohrabschnitte fluidleitend mit den Sammelrohren verbunden sind. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Anschlusslösung werden durch die Anordnung von 4 Kreuzlöchern Vor- und Rücklaufanschluss frei wählbar und wechselbar. Nach einer Ausführungsform der Erfindung kann der Heizkörper auch um 180° gedreht werden, so dass dieser sowohl als rechter als auch als linker Heizkörper eingebaut werden kann. Weiterhin kann in einem der Sammelrohre ein Elektroheizeinsatz frei wählbar angeordnet werden, wodurch Fehlmontagen vermieden werden können.
