Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kreiselpumpe (1) mit einem Laufrad (4) axialer oder halbaxialer Bauart und einer Einlaufdüse (5) welche in einer Strömungsrichtung (SR) der Kreiselpumpe vor dem Laufrad angeordnet ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine zweite Einlaufdüse (6) vorgesehen, welche konzentrisch zu der ersten Einlaufdüse (5) angeordnet ist, wobei die beiden Einlaufdüsen (5, 6) in Strömungsrichtung (SR) derart hintereinander angeordnet sind, dass sich zwischen den beiden Einlaufdüsen (5, 6) ein Ringspalt (11) ausbildet. Bei einem Teillastbetrieb der Kreiselpumpe (1) kann eine Umfangskomponente der aus dem Laufrad (4) austretenden und der Strömungsrichtung (SR) der Kreiselpumpe (1) entgegen gerichteten Rückströmung (24) fast vollständig durch den Ringspalt (11) hindurch aus dem Saugkanal (13) abgeführt werden, wobei die kinetische Energie der Rückströmung (24) in dem die Einlaufdüsen (5, 6) umgebenen Flüssigkeitsvolumen (14) umgewandelt wird. Hierdurch wird die Entstehung eines Teillasiwirbels wirksam verhindert, das Auftreten von Kavitation und Kavitationsschäden vermieden und eine nahezu vollständige Stabilisierung der Kennlinie erreicht.
