- the base plate is positioned on the body of the vehicle, at the height of the hole through which the screw must pass, and is held in this position until the screw is tightened.
- Said elastic body generally presents a head surface provided with a central through hole and with two or more lateral tabs folded according to longitudinal development axes that are divergent and incident on the surface defined by the head surface, in such a way as to substantially obtain a cap.
- the head surface is smaller than the through opening provided in the body, while the free ends of the tabs delimit a surface that is larger than the through opening.
- the elastic body associated with the base plate is passed through the through opening present in the vehicle, starting from the head surface, initially deforming and then returning to its initial conditions when also the ends of the tabs have passed through the opening.
- the tabs create a first constraint of the antenna to the vehicle, being arranged against the body of the vehicle.
- a first drawback is constituted by the fact that, since the elastic body is compressed while passing through the through opening, if said compression is excessive it may cause a permanent deformation or, in extreme cases, also cause the tabs to break.
- this can be such that the free ends of the tabs delimit a surface that is smaller than the through opening, thus losing its capacity to constrain the antenna to the vehicle.
- the object of the present invention is to overcome all the above-mentioned drawbacks that are typical of the known embodiments.
- the presence of a casing for containing the elastic body at least partially makes it possible to prevent the tabs of the elastic body from opening out excessively while the device is being screwed, and thus from causing its irreversible deformation or breakage.
- the casing prevents the insertion of the device that is the subject of the invention in through openings that are too small and that could deform the elastic body or damage it irreversibly.
- the convexity of the head surface of the elastic body makes it possible to increase its elasticity compared to the equivalent elastic bodies of the fixing devices of known type.
- the presence of threads on the surfaces delimiting the through holes provided in the base plate and in the elastic body also advantageously makes it possible to obtain that, in case of removal of the antenna from the support surface, the parts of the fixing device are not all separated from one another but, at least as regards the elastic body and the casing, remain attached to the constraining means, thus reducing the risk of loss of the components.

- said casing 15 and the base plate 2 present projections and recesses that are mutually conjugated in correspondence with the through opening 4 present in the support surface S.

- the housings 21 present in the casing 15 are created on the lateral surface of the casing 15 itself, but this should not be intended as a limitation for different embodiments, not represented and not described herein, according to which the cylindrical ducts are provided in correspondence with the inner space of the casing.
- housings if peripheral, are generally constituted by shaped bevels, which in the particular embodiment described herein are created, as already said, at the height of the side corners of the parallelepiped shaping of the casing 15.
- Said cylindrical ducts 20 advantageously allow the passage of electric wires for the connection of electric/electronic elements present on opposite sides of the base plate 2 and, in particular, serve as devices for retaining the wires.

- This configuration makes it possible to achieve the characteristics described in the main claim, that is, to obtain a fixing device where the projection of the through opening 4 on the elastic body 7 can be contained at least between the free ends 13 of the tabs 11 and can contain the head surface of the elastic body 7.

- the tab may be simply one or there may be any number of tabs in order to increase the degree of grip of the same on the support surface and to reduce their resistance to elastic deformation.
- Said tabs 11 also present a sharp profile at least in correspondence with their free end 13 and, in cross section, a preferably but not necessarily C-shaped profile.
- the sharp profile advantageously makes it possible to improve and therefore increase the degree of friction that they achieve when in contact with the support surface S , making it possible to stabilize the constrain of the fixing device 1 with no need to tighten the constraining means 18 excessively.
- the latter comprise a screw 26 that passes through the first through hole 5, the second through hole 10 and a third through hole 16 present in the casing 15.
- Said screw 26 is provided with a manoeuvring head 27, projecting from the third through hole 16, and with a free end 28 that is coupled with a nut 29 arranged on the opposite side of the base plate 2 with respect to the shaped projection 3.
- This constraint advantageously makes it possible to keep said components joined together, in particular the casing and the elastic body, during assembly and during removal of the antenna from the vehicle.
