  • a further embodiment of the present invention provides a printing apparatus comprising: input means configured to input print data; printing means configured to receive the print data from the input means and execute a printing process of printing on paper on the basis of the print data; receiving means configured to receive paper information and apparatus information from another printing apparatus, the paper information including operation information regarding an operating state of the printing means in the printing process using paper, the apparatus information identifying said another printing apparatus; first determining means configured to determine, on the basis of the apparatus information received by the receiving means, whether or not to register the paper information received from said another printing apparatus; registering means configured to register the paper information including the operation information if the first determining means determines to register the paper information; selecting means configured to select one of a plurality of pieces of the paper information registered by the registering means; and control means configured to control the printing means such that the printing means performs the printing process in an operating state based on the operation information included in the piece of the paper information selected by the selecting means.
  • a further embodiment of the present invention provides a printing apparatus that transmits paper information to another printing apparatus, comprising: input means configured to input print data; printing means (203) configured to receive the print data from the input means and execute a printing process of printing on paper on the basis of the print data; registering means configured to register the paper information, the paper information including characteristic information representing characteristics of paper used in the printing process and operation information regarding an operating state of the printing means in the printing process using the paper; selecting means configured to select one of a plurality of pieces of the paper information registered by the registering means; control means configured to control the printing means such that the printing means performs the printing process in an operating state based on the operation information included in the piece of the paper information selected by the selecting means; and transmitting means configured to perform one of a first transmitting process of transmitting the paper information including the characteristic information and the operation information to said another printing apparatus (234, 235) and a second transmitting process of transmitting paper information which includes the characteristic information and does not include the operation information to said another printing apparatus.
  • a further embodiment of the invention provides a printing method for a printing apparatus including a printing means for performing a printing process of printing on a paper sheet, the printing method comprising the steps of: receiving paper information and apparatus information from another printing apparatus, the paper information including operation information regarding an operating state of the printing means in the printing process using paper, the apparatus information identifying said another printing apparatus; determining, on the basis of the received apparatus information, whether or not to register the paper information received from said another printing apparatus; registering the paper information including the operation information if the paper information is determined to be registered; selecting one of a plurality of pieces of the registered paper information; and controlling the printing means such that the printing means performs the printing process in an operating state based on the operation information included in the selected piece of the paper information.
  • a further embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling a printing apparatus that transmits paper information to another printing apparatus, the method comprising the steps of: registering the paper information, the paper information including characteristic information representing characteristics of paper used in the printing process and operation information regarding an operating state of the printing means (203) in the printing process using the paper; selecting one of a plurality of pieces of the registered paper information; and performing one of a first transmitting process of transmitting the paper information including the characteristic information and the operation information to said another printing apparatus and a second transmitting process of transmitting paper information which includes the characteristic information and does not include the operation information to said another printing apparatus.

Claims (18)

  1. Druckvorrichtung (105), umfassend:
    eine Druckeinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Ausführen eines Druckprozesses zum Drucken auf Papier auf der Grundlage von Druckdaten;
    eine Empfangeinrichtung (202), konfiguriert zum Empfangen von Papierinformation und Vorrichtungsinformation von einer anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235), wobei die Papierinformation Betriebsinformation über Betriebsbedingungen der Druckeinrichtung (203) zur Verwendung bei dem Druckprozess unter Verwendung von Papier einschließt, während die Vorrichtungsinformation die andere Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) identifiziert;
    eine erste Bestimmungseinrichtung, konfiguriert, um auf der Grundlage der von der Empfangseinrichtung (202) empfangenen Vorrichtungsinformation zu bestimmen, ob oder nicht die Verwendung der Papierinformation freigegeben (enable) wird;
    eine Registriereinrichtung, um die Verwendung der Papierinformation dadurch freizugeben, dass die Betriebsinformation einschließende Papierinformation registriert wird, wenn die erste Bestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Papierinformation freigegeben werden sollte;
    eine Auswähleinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Auswählen eines aus mehreren, von der Registriereinrichtung registrierten Stücken Papierinformation; und
    eine Steuereinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Steuern der Druckeinrichtung (203) derart, dass die Druckeinrichtung (203) den Druckprozess unter Verwendung von Betriebsbedingungen ausführt, und zwar basierend auf der Betriebsinformation, die in dem von der Auswähleinrichtung ausgewählten Stück Papierinformation eingeschlossen ist.
  2. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die von der Empfangseinrichtung (202) empfangene Papierinformation die Betriebsinformation und charakteristische Information über Charakteristika des bei dem Druckprozess verwendeten Papiers einschließt.
  3. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach Anspruch 2, weiterhin umfassend eine zweite Bestimmungseinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Bestimmen, ob oder nicht Papier mit den Charakteristika, welche repräsentiert sind durch die charakteristische Information, die in der von der Empfangseinrichtung (202) empfangenen Papierinformation eingeschlossen ist, von der Druckvorrichtung (105) verwendbar ist.
  4. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach Anspruch 3, wobei die Registriereinrichtung konfiguriert ist zum Freigeben der Verwendung von Information, die erhalten wird durch Ausschluss der Betriebsinformation von der Papierinformation für den Fall, dass die erste Bestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Verwendung der Papierinformation nicht freigegeben werden sollte, und die zweite Bestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass das Papier mit den durch die charakteristische Information repräsentierten Charakteristika von der Druckvorrichtung (105) verwendbar ist.
  5. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach Anspruch 4, weiterhin umfassend:
    eine Generiereinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Generieren neuer Betriebsinformation auf der Grundlage der charakteristischen Information für den Fall, dass die erste Bestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Verwendung der Papierinformation nicht freigegeben werden sollte,
    wobei die Registriereinrichtung konfiguriert ist zum Freigeben der Verwendung der Information, die erhalten wird durch Anfügen der neuen Betriebsinformation an die Papierinformation für den Fall, dass die erste Bestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Verwendung der Papierinformation nicht freigegeben werden sollte.
  6. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die erste Bestimmungseinrichtung konfiguriert ist zum Freigeben der Verwendung der von der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) empfangenen Papierinformation für den Fall, dass die Druckvorrichtung (105) und die andere, von der Vorrichtungsinformation identifizierte Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) von gleicher Art sind.
  7. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, weiterhin umfassend:
    eine Speichereinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Speichern der von der Empfangseinrichtung (202) empfangenen Papierinformation; und
    eine Hinderungseinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Hindern der Auswähleinrichtung am Auswählen eines Stücks der in der Speichereinrichtung gespeicherten Papierinformation, dessen Verwendung aber von der Registriereinrichtung nicht freigegeben ist.
  8. Druckvorrichtung (105), konfiguriert zum Übertragen von Papierinformation zu einer anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235), umfassend:
    eine Registriereinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Freigeben einer Verwendung der Papierinformation, wobei die Papierinformation einschließt:
    charakteristische Information über Charakteristika von in dem Druckprozess verwendetem Papier sowie Betriebsinformation über einen Betriebszustand einer Druckeinrichtung (203) in dem Druckprozess unter Verwendung des Papiers; und
    eine Übertragungseinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Ausführen eines von zwei Prozessen, nämlich von einem ersten Übertragungsprozess zum Übertragen der Papierinformation, die die charakteristische Information und die Betriebsinformation zu der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) einschließt, und von einem zweiten Übertragungsprozess zum Übertragen von Papierinformation, welche die charakteristische Information und nicht die Betriebsinformation zu der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) einschließt.
  9. Druckvorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, weiterhin umfassend:
    eine Druckeinrichtung konfiguriert zum Durchführen eines Druckprozesses mit zu bedruckendem Papier auf der Grundlage von Druckdaten;
    eine Auswähleinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Auswählen eines aus mehreren, von der Registriereinrichtung registrierten Stücken Papierinformation;
    eine Steuereinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Steuern der Druckeinrichtung (203) derart, dass die Druckeinrichtung (203) den Druckprozess unter Verwendung von Betriebsbedingungen, basierend auf der Betriebsinformation ausführt, die in dem von der Auswähleinrichtung ausgewählten Stück Papierinformation eingeschlossen ist.
  10. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, weiterhin umfassend:
    eine Vorrichtungsbestimmungseinrichtung, konfiguriert zum Bestimmen, ob oder nicht die Druckvorrichtung (105) und die andere Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) von gleicher Art sind.
  11. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10, wobei
    die Übertragungseinrichtung konfiguriert ist zum Ausführen des ersten Übertragungsprozesses, wenn die Vorrichtungsbestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Druckvorrichtungen von gleicher Art sind, und konfiguriert ist zum Ausführen des zweiten Übertragungsprozesses, wenn die Vorrichtungsbestimmungseinrichtung bestimmt, dass die Druckvorrichtungen von unterschiedlicher Art sind.
  12. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, wobei
    die Druckeinrichtung (203) eine Halteeinrichtung (323) einschließt, ausgebildet zum Halten eines Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds entsprechend den Druckdaten; eine Transfereinrichtung (325), ausgebildet zum Transferieren des von der Halteeinrichtung (323) gehaltenen Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds auf einen Papierbogen; und eine Fixiereinrichtung (327), ausgebildet zum Erwärmen und Andrücken des Papierbogens, auf den das Entwicklungsmittel-Bild von der Transfereinrichtung (325) transferiert wurde, und
    wobei die Betriebsinformation eine Information über die Andrückkraft, die von der Fixiereinrichtung (327) auf den Papierbogen ausgeübt wird, einschließt.
  13. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, wobei
    die Druckeinrichtung (203) eine Halteeinrichtung (323) einschließt, ausgebildet zum Halten eines Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds entsprechend den Druckdaten; eine Transfereinrichtung (325), ausgebildet zum Transferieren des von der Halteeinrichtung (323) gehaltenen Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds auf einen Papierbogen; und eine Fixiereinrichtung (327), ausgebildet zum Erwärmen und Andrücken des Papierbogens, auf den das Entwicklungsmittel-Bild von der Transfereinrichtung (325) transferiert wurde, und
    wobei die Betriebsinformation eine Information über die Fixiertemperatur, der der Papierbogen mit Hilfe der Fixiereinrichtung (327) ausgesetzt wird, einschließt.
  14. Druckvorrichtung (105) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei
    die Druckeinrichtung (203) eine Halteeinrichtung (323) einschließt, ausgebildet zum Halten eines den Druckdaten entsprechenden Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds; eine Transfereinrichtung (325), ausgebildet zum Transferieren des von der Halteeinrichtung (323) gehaltenen Entwicklungsmittel-Bilds auf einen Papierbogen; und eine Fixiereinrichtung (327), ausgebildet zum Erwärmen und Andrücken des Papierbogens, auf den das Entwicklungsmittel-Bild von der Transfereinrichtung (325) transferiert wurde, und
    wobei die Betriebsinformation eine Information über eine Transferspannung einschließt, die an den Papierbogen angelegt wird, um das Entwicklungsmittel-Bild auf den Papierbogen zu transferieren.
  15. Steuerverfahren für eine Druckvorrichtung (105), die eine Druckeinrichtung (203) einschließt, umfassend die Schritte:
    Empfangen von Papierinformation und Vorrichtungsinformation von einer anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235), wobei die Papierinformation eine Betriebsinformation über Betriebsbedingungen zur Verwendung durch die Druckeinrichtung (203) in dem Druckprozess unter Verwendung von Papier einschließt, wobei die Vorrichtungsinformation die andere Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) identifiziert;
    Bestimmen, auf der Grundlage der empfangenen Vorrichtungsinformation, ob oder nicht die Verwendung der von der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) empfangenen Papierinformation freizugeben ist;
    Freigeben der Verwendung der Papierinformation durch Registrieren der Papierinformation, einschließlich der Betriebsinformation, wenn die Papierinformation zur Registrierung bestimmt wird;
    Auswählen eines von mehreren Stücken der registrierten Papierinformation; und
    Steuern der Druckeinrichtung (203) derart, dass die Druckeinrichtung (203) den Druckprozess nach Maßgabe von Betriebsbedingungen auf der Grundlage der Betriebsinformation ausführt, welche in dem ausgewählten Stück Papierinformation eingeschlossen ist.
  16. Steuerverfahren für eine Druckvorrichtung (105), welche Papierinformation zu einer anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) überträgt, umfassend die Schritte:
    Auswählen eines aus mehreren Stücken Papierinformation, welche charakteristische Information über Charakteristika des in dem Druckprozess verwendeten Papiers und Betriebsinformation über Betriebsbedingungen zur Verwendung durch die Druckeinrichtung während des Druckprozesses unter Verwendung von Papier einschließt; und
    Ausführen eines Prozesses von einem ersten Übertragungsprozess zum Übertragen der Papierinformation, die die charakteristische Information und die Betriebsinformation zu der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) einschließt, und von einem zweiten Übertragungsprozess zum Übertragen von Papierinformation, welche die charakteristische Information und nicht die Betriebsinformation zu der anderen Druckvorrichtung (234, 235) einschließt.
  17. Programm, welches bei Ausführung in einer Druckvorrichtung diese veranlasst, die Schritte des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 15 oder 16 auszuführen.
  18. Speichermedium, das ein Programm nach Anspruch 17 abspeichert.
