Description

The present invention relates to a timepiece provided with a moon phase display mechanism comprising a mobile in kinematic connection with the timer train, a periodic drive element between the mobile in kinematic connection with the gear train. timer and a mobile mounted pivoting about an axis and whose gear ratio is chosen to turn during a moon cycle, a cam having a circular motion and secured to said mobile, a cam follower mounted about an axis pivoting means, elastic means for pressing the cam follower against the profile of said cam, a toothed sector centered on said pivot axis, integral with the cam follower and in engagement with a toothed indicator moon phase indicator.

A feedback phase moon phase indicator mechanism of this type has already been proposed in the EP 1 321 832 . The purpose of this mechanism is to allow the moonphase indicator to be placed almost anywhere on the surface of the dial and this indicator occupies a minimum area.

In the case of a display of the retrograde return moon phases, the return of the indicator to return to the starting position corresponds to a rapid movement whose sole purpose is to return to the starting position. In a space-saving display of this type, the retrograde return movement is a no-load movement which actually contributes to losing display space.

The object of the present invention is to remedy, at least in part, this disadvantage.

For this purpose, this invention relates to a timepiece provided with a moon phase display mechanism according to claim 1.

The use of the return movement to display the second part of the moon cycle makes it possible in the same space to make a second display, thus doubling the useful stroke of the moon phase indicator organ.

Advantageously, the scale with respect to which the indicator member moves is at least partially located on a movable member carrying the phases of the moon cycle, mounted oscillating between two stops on the axis of said indicator mobile, at below the dial of the timepiece provided with windows, through which a first part of the moon phases is visible in a first limit position of oscillation of said movable member carrying the phases of moons and a second part of the phases of the moon is visible in a second limit position of oscillation of said movable member carrying the moon phases, the latter comprising an element capable of coming into engagement with a driving element secured to said mobile indicator at both ends of the oscillation movement of this movable indicator for moving said member carrying the moon phases from one stop to the other, an elastic member being still engaged with this member carrying the moon phases for the alternately maintain against each of said stops between two displacements by said drive element.

  • La figure 1 est une vue de face de cette forme d'exécution montrant une première position des organes d'affichage;
  • la figure 2 est une vue semblable à la figure 1 montrant une seconde position des organes d'affichage;
  • la figure 3 est une vue du mécanisme d'affichage dans la position des organes d'affichage illustrée par la figure 1;
Other advantages and particularities of the timepiece according to the present invention will become apparent from the following description, made with the aid of the accompanying drawings which illustrate, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of FIG. the timepiece object of this invention.
  • The figure 1 is a front view of this embodiment showing a first position of the display members;
  • the figure 2 is a view similar to the figure 1 showing a second position of the display members;
  • the figure 3 is a view of the display mechanism in the position of the display members illustrated by the figure 1 ;
  • the figure 4 is a view of the display mechanism in the position of the display members illustrated by the figure 2 .

Ce mobile 2 porte un doigt d'entraînement 3 monté pivotant et maintenu de manière élastique contre une butée 5 par un ressort 4.The mechanism illustrated by the figure 3 comprises a reference 1, in kinematic connection with the timer train, the only mobile of the clockwork shown since it is the only one used to drive the moon phase indicator mechanism. This reference 1 rotates every twelve hours. It meshes with a toothed mobile 2 having twice the number of teeth of the reference 1 to make one turn in twenty-four hours. This mobile 2 carries a drive finger 3 pivotally mounted and resiliently held against a stop 5 by a spring 4.

At each rotation of the mobile 2, the drive finger 3 encounters a tooth of a star with seven branches 6 positioned by a jumper 7. This star 6 is integral with a pinion 8 which is connected to a mobile 9 by the The gear ratio between the wheels and pinions 8-9 is chosen so that the mobile 9 makes a revolution in 29 ½ days, corresponding approximately to a cycle of the moon with an error of one day. over three hundred years.

This mobile 9 carries a cam 11 whose profile has two curves whose respective distances from the pivot axis of the mobile 9 vary continuously, the respective adjacent ends of these curves, the closest 11a, respectively the farthest 11b of the axis of said mobile, being located on a diameter of the mobile 9.

A cam follower 12 pivoted on an axis 12c comprises a roller or a stud 12a and a toothed sector 12b centered on the axis of pivoting and engaged with a pinion 13 serving as mobile indicator moon phases and whose axis is secured to an index or needle 13c ( Figures 1, 2 ) which is moved opposite a ladder 14. This pinion 13 is still engaged with a second toothed sector 15 subjected to the force of a return spring 16 which serves to keep the stud 12a of the cam follower 12 in contact with the profile of the cam 11. The pinion 13 is further secured to a plate 13a to which a pin 13b is fixed.

A movable member 17, bearing a scale corresponding to the indication of the moon phases of a lunar cycle, is pivotally mounted on the axis of the pinion 13 of the moon phase indicator. This movable member 17 is pivotable freely on the axis of the pinion 13 between two stops 18a, 18b and is held against one or the other of these stops 18a, 18b by an elastic member 19 located at the free end a leaf spring and which has two faces of opposite inclinations alternately in engagement with an element 17a which puts under tension the blade spring of the elastic member 19 secured to the movable member 17.

This movable member 17 also has an opening in an arc 17b, concentric with the axis of the pinion 13, in which the pin 13b of the plate 13a is engaged. The angular dimension of this opening in the form of an arc of circle 17b corresponds to a half-moon cycle minus one step of the pinion 13 of the mobile moon phase indicator driven by the toothed sector 12b of the cam sensor 12. As a result, at the At the end of each half-moon cycle, the pin 13b meets one end of the arcuate opening 17b and drives the movable member 17. During this drive, the element 17a passes from an inclined face to the other of the elastic member 19, which has the effect of reversing the torque exerted by this resilient member 19 under tension on the movable member 17, which is thereby moved against the other of the two stops 18a, 18b.

The six moon phases carried by the movable member 17 are intended to appear selectively and alternately through three openings 20 formed in the dial of the timepiece ( Figures 1 and 2 ). These openings have an angular spacing around the center of pivoting of the indicator member 13c double the angular spacing between the moon phases carried by the movable member 17, which corresponds to the angular displacement of the movable member 17 between the stops 18a, 18b, so that when this movable member 17 is moved from one stop 18a to the other 18b or vice versa, another series of moon phases appears in the openings 20. As a result, a moon phase is brought by the movable member 17 of two is an increasing moon phase, the other phase alternating with the first being relative to decreasing moon phases. This makes it possible to alternately display the increasing moon phases when the moon phase indicator index 13c moves in the clockwise direction and the decreasing moon phases when this moon phase indicator index 13c moves in reverse. The movable member 17 can still carry two arrows in opposite directions to indicate the direction of movement of the index indicator moon phases 13c. These arrows may appear alternately in an opening 21, at the same time as during the change of moon phases.
