Abstract
La présente invention concerne un véhicule rail-route (1), notamment un camion rail-route, comprenant un système d'entraînement (4) pour le fonctionnement sur rails qui présente une première et une seconde roue motrice sur rails (8, 10) reliées par un essieu de rails (6), un premier galet de friction (12) couplé aux roues motrices sur rails (8, 10) par une première transmission (22), ainsi qu'un second galet de friction (14) couplé aux roues motrices sur rails (8, 10) par une seconde transmission (28). Le premier et le second galet de friction (12, 14) peuvent être placés sur la surface périphérique d'une roue motrice sur route associée (18, 20) et un système d'embrayage (26, 32) est prévu. Ce système d'embrayage permet de coupler, en fonction du sens de rotation souhaité des roues motrices sur rails (8, 10), le premier galet de friction (12) par l'intermédiaire de la première transmission (22) ou le second galet de friction (14) par l'intermédiaire de la seconde transmission (28) aux roues motrices sur rails. Cette invention est caractérisée en ce que la première transmission (22) comprend une première pluralité de roues dentées (25) et la seconde transmission (28) comprend une seconde pluralité de roues dentées (34). La différence entre la première pluralité et la seconde pluralité de roues dentées (25, 34) est un nombre impair non nul.
