Abstract

L'invention concerne une cage à tourillon (5), notamment pour des roulements à rouleaux radiaux ou axiaux de grande taille. Cette cage est formée par deux disques annulaires (6,7) se faisant face dans le sens axial, raccordés l'un à d'autres par l'intermédiaire d'une pluralité de boulons entretoises (10) fixés chacun dans deux trous axiaux (8,9) ménagés dans les disques annulaires, et présente dans le sens périphérique, entre les boulons entretoises (10), des tourillons d'axe (13, 14) maintenus respectivement dans d'autres trous axiaux (11, 12) se faisant face dans le sens axial. Des corps de roulement à rouleaux (4), présentant des trous borgnes axiaux (17, 18) sur leurs faces (15, 16), sont montés de manière rotative sur ces tourillons d'axe. Selon l'invention, la cage à tourillon (5) se présente sous la forme d'une unité montée au préalable, séparément des corps de roulement à rouleaux (4), dans laquelle l'espace libre minimal entre tous les corps de roulement à rouleaux (4) est le même au niveau du cercle primitif (19) des trous axiaux (11, 12) pour les tourillons d'axe (13, 14). Le diamètre du cercle primitif (20) des trous axiaux (8,9) pour les boulons entretoises (10) est inférieur ou supérieur au diamètre du cercle primitif (19) des trous axiaux (11, 12) pour les tourillons d'axe (13, 14). Les tourillons d'axe (13, 14) pour les corps de roulement à rouleaux (4) se présentent sous la forme de broches cylindriques pouvant être insérées, de l'extérieur, dans les trous axiaux (11, 12) de l'unité montée au préalable.
