Through suitable sizing of the parts of the buffer coupling, the push contour, the pull contour, the support surface (12) of the small tooth (27) and/or of the coupling socket base (10), deviating from the standard Willison-contour according to UIC code of practice 523, the play with intercoupled coupling heads, especially in the new state of the coupling heads, is almost zero, and especially less than 4 mm.

Description

The invention relates to a coupling head of an automatic central buffer coupling for rail vehicles in the manner of a Willison coupling with the Willison contour (also called Willison profile) according to the preamble of claim 1.

Willison-Kupplungen sind z. B. aus der DE-OS 15 30175 und der DE-OS 14 55 242 bekannt.Willison couplings are z. B. from the DE-OS 15 30175 and the DE-OS 14 55 242 known.

There are known automatic couplings with the standardized contour according to the UIC Leaflet 523, which are manufactured as cast couplings and are used in the raw state with great contour play. Such clearance couplings are used in freight cars, the games lead to jerking and strains, but are accepted. For special transport, z. As car transports, such games lead to shifts of the cargo and damage. For passenger coaches additional resilient buffers are installed next to the clutches to maintain the running quality of the car, which cushion the free play in the clutches.

Furthermore, after the DD-PS 111,145 Couplings known whose coupling contour has a specially designed pressure contour for better power transmission of high pressure forces. However, these couplings have a prescribed large game in the contour.

The object of the present invention is to provide such a designed coupling contour of a coupling head of the type mentioned, the very small games in Kupplungslängs- and transverse coupling direction generated, but at the same time ensures the coupling and decoupling similar couplings and also converts the compatibility with the existing couplings with the standard contour.

According to the invention the object is achieved by an automatic coupling with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the subclaims.

The core of the invention is to change the proven and successful dimensioning of the standardized Willison contour according to UIC Leaflet 523 to the effect that the coupling and load transfer properties obtained and only the previously occurring in mutually coupled coupling heads game is minimized. For this purpose, it is provided to increase at least one of the guiding, centering, insertion and / or support surfaces relative to the known contour, for example by a uniformly applied overlay layer or by appropriate dimensioning during finishing, so that the play is coupled together, especially when new Coupling heads is almost zero, in particular less than 4 mm.

The invention allows a jam-free coupling and decoupling with the specially dimensioned elevated machinable contact surfaces of the train contour and transverse to the clutch longitudinal axis contact surfaces outside the small tooth and inside the large tooth of the clutch and the specially designed pressure contour in the clutch bag. The contour of the contours is the area of the Willison contour, which comes into contact with the small and large tooth when the traction transfer takes place. The pressure contour is the area of the Willison contour that comes into contact with the small tooth and the clutch pocket on the pressure-side inner contour when pressure is transmitted.

A particular advantage is that only special areas are designed differently. These flat surfaces are accessible for mechanical machining with standard tools, without the production process being made more expensive by the necessity of using special tools.

The very small games remain when used as a starter clutch over a long operational use period. This makes it possible to use standardized electrical couplings with a larger number of contacts.

Furthermore fall with the low-play clutch the necessary in the playful Willison clutches spring additional buffer, so that the installation space can be designed at the vehicle end of passenger cars according to the arrangement of pressure-sensitive high-speed trains.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the pressure-side inner contour of the coupling contour of the coupling point of the intersection of the coupling longitudinal axis with the coupling plane section parallel to a straight line through the coupling point approximately at an angle to the coupling longitudinal axis in the direction of the pressure contour lying of about 62 ° and preferably in A constant distance of about 35 mm to the fillet radius in the large tooth runs, wherein the horizontally applied transversely to the clutch longitudinal inner contour in the large tooth relative to the standardized contour by about 3 mm parallel increased flat surface inwards to the coupling point out towards corresponding, parallel surface of the small tooth, which compared to the standardized contour has an increased by about 3 mm outward planar surface. As a result, a particularly advantageous adaptation of the contours corresponding to each other is achieved, so that the engagement and decoupling takes place without jamming or the like without problems, and in the coupled-in state an optimal contact of the traction or pressure surfaces is achieved.

The coupling head 20 of an automatic central buffer coupling 100 according to Fig. 1 and 2 has the known Willison contour with a small clutch tooth 27 and a large clutch tooth 9 corresponding guide surfaces of the pressure contour 13, the Zugkontur 14, the support surface 12 and the clutch bag bottom 10. At the large clutch tooth 9 (also called large clutch claw) is a arranged in the direction of travel in the extension of the large coupling tooth 9 forward and within the width of the large coupling tooth erstreichendes Horn 28 arranged that is introduced when coupling in a lying at the same height recess 29 of the same Gegenkuppelkopfes, With this construction is in a simple way the Coupling connection "made rigid", ie, a relative movement of the two intermeshing coupling heads 20 in the vertical direction is thereby reduced to the required minimum.

The small coupling tooth 27 (also called small coupling claw) has two mutually approximately parallel guide surfaces of the pressure contour 13 and the Zugkontur 14 and a standing at an angle support surface 12. The clutch pocket 18 also has two mutually approximately parallel guide surfaces of the pressure contour 13 and the Zugkontur 14, which are associated with the guide surfaces of the pressure contour 13 and the Zugkontur 14 of the small clutch tooth 27, and a clutch bag bottom 10, which is aligned according to the support surface 12.

The coupling contour 19 after Fig. 1 is on the contact surfaces of the train contour 14 with respect to the standardized Willison contour according to UIC Leaflet 523, Appendix 1, designed to approximately 2 - increased 4 mm and has at the transverse to the clutch longitudinal axis 3 clutch bag bottom 10 in the large tooth 9 and the corresponding surface of the small tooth 12 an elevated contour, wherein the pressure-side inner contour 1 of the coupling profile 19 from the coupling point 2 of the intersection of the coupling longitudinal axis 3 with the Kuppeleenenschnittlinie 4 parallel to a straight line 5 through the coupling point 2 approximately at an angle to the coupling longitudinal axis 3 in the direction of the pressure contour 13 lying about 62 ° and preferably at a constant distance 7 of about 35 mm to the fillet radius 8 in the large tooth 9 runs.

Fig. 2 shows the planar design of the contact surface of lying transversely to the clutch longitudinal axis 3 clutch bag bottom 10 in the large tooth. 9

With the flat surface 21 of the clutch cover shelf 10 in the large tooth 9, the coupling of non-rigid couplings with the standard contour according to UIC leaflet 523 is ensured without hooking the couplings.
