Abstract

Ein Küchenabluftkanal- oder eine Küchenablufthaube für den Einsatz insbesondere in Großküchen oder der Gastronomie weist in bekannter Weise ein Gehäuse (2) mit mindestens einer Öffnung (7) auf, durch die Küchenabluft in das Innere des Gehäuses (2) einsaugbar ist. Eine Mehrzahl von Filtersegmenten (8) ist in einer Reihe nebeneinander angeordnet und von der in das Innere des Gehäuses (2) gesaugten Luft durchströmbar. Sie sind entlang von Führungseinrichtungen (9, 10) verschiebbar, die so ausgestaltet sind, daß die Filtersegmente (8) nur im Bereich einer Lücke (9b) entnehmbar sind. Ein Verriegelungseinsatz (17) ist in einer Reihe mit den Filtersegmenten (8) herausnehmbar im Bereich der Lücke (9b) plazierbar, derart, daß bei eingesetztem Verriegelungseinsatz (17) kein Filtersegment (8) aus den Führungseinrichtungen (9, 10) entnommen werden kann. Bei eingesetztem Verriegelungseinsatz (17) wird ein elektrischer Schalter (13) so betätigt, daß der Stromfluß zu einer UV-Lampe, die im Inneren des Gehäuses (2) angeordnet ist, freigegeben wird; bei herausgenommenem Verriegelungseinsatz (17) wird dieser Stromkreis unterbrochen. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, daß beim Entnehmen eines Filtersegments (8) zur Reinigung oder zum Tausch kein UV-Licht aus dem Gehäuse (2) entweichen kann.
