Definitions
- the invention relates to a stone basket for creating a dike according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- DE-U-202004 020040 discloses such a stone basket.
- This stone basket consists of wire mesh walls, the interior of which is filled with stones.
- the wire mesh walls are covered with a mat of plastic filaments to realize a water barrier.
- the plastic mat is provided on the surface of the stone basket, so that it can be easily destroyed. For example, articles swirling around by a storm could puncture the mat, thus losing its waterproofing effect. For this reason, this stone basket is usually used underground, especially as drainage for stagnant water. As a flood protection system, this known stone basket is only very suitable because of its considerable risk of leakage.
- Another stone basket is also from the DE-U-29805120 known.
- the invention has for its object to provide a stone basket from which a dike can be created, which can be used in particular as a flood protection.
- the stone basket according to claim 1 is used to create a dike and is designed such that lined stone baskets form a consistently waterproof object.
- the stone baskets themselves consist of wire mesh walls, the interior of which is divided into at least two compartments filled with bulk material. This bulk material is preferably made of stones and ensures a high mass of stone basket, so that it can withstand the water pressure.
- the stone basket is stable in this way without tools, so that the dike can be created very easily.
- the separation of the compartments from each other is carried out by a watertight plate, which creates a water-facing to the department and a department within the stone basket. Water that tries to penetrate the area to be protected is thus prevented by the watertight plate.
- the riprap ensures a high stabilization of the watertight wall, so that strong currents, flotsam or strong winds of the wall can not harm.
- the riprap thus provides additional protection of the watertight wall.
- the waterproof plate on at least one end face on a sealant, which creates a watertight connection to the watertight plate of the adjacent stone basket.
- the stone basket created in this way can be easily assembled by placing it in the desired position.
- the adjacent stone baskets are tensioned against each other by means of tension members in order to improve the sealing effect of the sealant.
- the stone baskets can also be stacked on top of each other to create higher dikes.
- the plate is concave on at least one of the end faces to receive the sealant.
- the sealing means is accommodated, so that it is guided securely perpendicular to the plane extension of the plates.
- end face of the waterproof plate results from claim 3. It is the End face provided with a groove which serves to receive the sealant. On both sides of the groove planar areas of the end face are provided, which preferably rest in the mounted position on the plate of the adjacent stone basket. In this way, a particularly good sealing effect.
- the sealant is formed by a hardenable mass.
- a mortar or a synthetic resin is used as the sealing means, which fills the joint area between the watertight plates of adjoining stone baskets.
- the sealant may also be formed by tar, bitumen or similar substances. After curing of the sealant, the joint area is hermetically sealed, so that a penetration of the joint area is reliably excluded from the water. Any protruding into the sealant parts of the wire mesh walls are easily poured by this, without affecting the sealing effect.
- sealant results from claim 5.
- a mineral material offers particularly in the formation of the concrete slab a particularly intimate connection, so that the watertight plates are really shed together.
- a sealant in the form of a polymeric material, in particular synthetic resin is preferred. This is a more intimate connection with the materials mentioned.
- the sealing means is formed by an elastic tube which can be filled with a fluid.
- the elastic tube is thereby introduced into the joint region of the waterproof plate and only then filled with the fluid.
- this expands radially and presses at high pressure against the end faces of the waterproof plate.
- the structure of the dike can be done very quickly. This is particularly advantageous in the case of acutely threatening flood hazards.
- a gas is preferably used, which ensures even with slight fluid losses still sufficient pressure against the waterproof plate.
- a large molecular gas is used which can not easily penetrate the tube walls.
- the watertight plate is formed by a mineral material, in particular concrete. This ensures easy production of the stone basket, so that the dike can be created particularly inexpensive. The inherent danger of breakage of the concrete is reliably excluded by the mutual riprap, so that the use of a concrete slab holds no disadvantages in itself.
- the dike can be easily increased in case of emergency by simply a corresponding number of planks or plates is inserted into the carrier. Since no additional construction measures are required, this work can be done even in imminent danger of flooding.
- the insertion of the required planks or plates is much easier than the reinforcement or increase of the dike by means of sandbags.
- the planks or plates can be degraded very quickly to be used again at the next place where a flood threatens. This is not possible with sandbags because of the required drying.
- a stone basket 1 according to FIG. 1 consists of wire mesh walls 2, of which, for better clarity, a bottom surface 3 and a top surface 4 are removed. This decrease of the area serves only the better descriptiveness of the FIG. 1 ,
- a waterproof plate 5 made of concrete which fills the entire cross section of the stone basket 1.
- This watertight plate 5 divides the stone basket 1 into two compartments 6, 7, the compartment 6 facing the water and the compartment 7 facing away from the water.
- Both departments 6, 7 are filled with a bulk material 8, in particular of stones. To achieve better visibility of the waterproof plate 5, the bulk material 8 is indicated only in a small area.
- the waterproof plate 5 has at opposite end faces 9 a longitudinal groove 10 which serves to receive a sealant, not shown. It is envisaged to provide the longitudinal groove 10 also in the region of an upper or lower end face 9, in order to be able to stack a plurality of stone baskets close one above the other.
- supports 12 are provided, which are formed substantially H-shaped. These carriers 12 serve to receive planks 13 or plates 14, which can be inserted into the carrier 12. These planks 13 and plates 14 allow an increase in the dike in an emergency.
- FIG. 2 shows a section of a dike 20, which is formed by several stone baskets 1.
- the abutting end faces 9 with their longitudinal grooves 10 form a cavity 22 which is filled with a sealant 23.
- the sealant 23 is formed by a potting compound, in particular of a mineral material, which ensures a firm connection of the watertight plates 5. In this way, the joint area 21 is waterproof.
- FIG. 3 shows an alternative embodiment of the sealing means 23 in the form of an elastic tube 24.
- This elastic tube 24 is filled with a fluid 25, which is in particular formed by a gas. After filling the fluid with a corresponding pressure, the elastic tube 24 presses into the cavity formed by the longitudinal grooves 10 and seals the joint region 21 from.

Description
