La figure 2A illustre une armature 5a sinusoïdale simple, la figure 2B illustre une armature 5b sinusoïdale simple additionnée d'une armature centrale filante 6 et la figure 2C illustre une armature 5c sinusoïdale simple dont les boucles inférieures 7 sont déviées de part et d'autre du plan de symétrie P. Dans le cas de la fabrication d'éléments profilés 1 précontraints ou armés, c'est-à-dire comportant dans leur partie médiane des câbles de précontraintes ou des armatures principales 8 (voir fig. 5), les armatures dépassantes 5a, 5b des figures 2A et 2B sont décalées par rapport au plan de symétrie P de l'élément profilé 1 pour ne pas interférer avec ces câbles de précontrainte ou armatures principales 8. Dans cet exemple, l'armature dépassante 5 qui est représentée correspond à l'armature 5a sinusoïdale simple de la figure 2A. L'ouverture 13 forme une fente filante s'étendant sur pratiquement toute la longueur du coffrage 11, d'une largeur au moins égale au diamètre du fil d'acier formant l'armature dépassante 5. Cette largeur peut être comprise par exemple entre 5 et 10 mm, ces dimensions n'étant pas limitatives.
