Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a door assembly with at least one door element with glass insert or a full or partial glass door in the form of a sliding door, revolving door, folding door or hinged door, with lighting effect.
- the WO 03/019076 A already discloses such a method for operating a door assembly according to the preamble of patent claim 1, with an acted upon by an opening and closing actuator door element which is at least partially glazed and has a visible light effect, with a green and red illumination.
- the GB 282033 A discloses another method of operating a door assembly having a door member acted upon by an opening and closing drive that has a visible light effect.
- the light effect is generated differently colored depending on the opening and closing state during the opening and closing phases.
- Object of the present invention is to provide the method for operating such a door assembly starting from the WO 03/019076 A educate that the operation is much safer and easier for users.
- An essential feature is that during the opening phase, a color change only appears when the door has been opened by a gap that is safe for passage.
- the R-G-B light effect is such that at rest a visually perceptible blue light effect and in the phase of the opening a green light effect and in the case of closing a red light effect is given.
- the condition of a door element usually formed at least partially of transparent glass is visually signaled by R-G-B colors and the injury potential of persons is reduced.
- door element with glass insert when the door element with glass insert is generally referred to as a "door element”, this is not to be understood as limiting. Part glass or all-glass doors are also claimed.
- the "glass element” according to the invention is generally referred to as a "door element”. Also, the nature of the opening of the door element and its drive plays no role.
- the invention relates to the according to a door element with a frame with at least one light element based on light-emitting diodes (LED's) or laser diodes or electroluminescent strips (zinc sulfide thick film AC luminescent strips), wherein the arrangement and integration into such door elements in particular according to the state of the art according to its own DE10322561 A1 he follows.
- LED's light-emitting diodes
- laser diodes or electroluminescent strips (zinc sulfide thick film AC luminescent strips)
- a typical door element consists of one or two ESG (single-pane safety glass) or VSG (laminated safety glass) panes with a corresponding edge in shape a frame which is arranged piecewise at one or more or all 4 edges.
- ESG single-pane safety glass
- VSG laminate safety glass
- the electrical power supply can be done by sliding contacts in the - or - around the guide grooves or by moving connection wires or by contactless energy transfer (eg by induction).
- an LED strip from Osram Opto Semiconductors with the type designation LINEARlight flex OS-LM11A is used.
- Such an LED strip is supplied with a total length of 8.4 m and a basic size of 10 LEDs with a length of 140 mm and a height of less than 3 mm and a strip width of 10 mm.
- the back of these LED strips is self-adhesive.
- the power supply is 24 volts DC, with nominally the smallest unit to be operated of 10 LED's with 140 mm length depending on the emission color between 40 and 50 mA needed. Nominally, a luminous intensity of 95 mcd (blue) to 305 mcd (white) and 730 mcd (yellow) is effected.
- the power consumption of the 10 LED's is 0.96 to 1.2 watts or 6.9 to 8.6 watts per meter.
- the beam angle of these LED components is 120 °.
- the beam angle can be adapted to the respective application and asymmetrical emission characteristics can also be achieved with special lens designs and / or attachments. Furthermore, it may be advantageous to install a diffuser. This can be achieved in the present case in the interior of the frame element very easily by transparent elements with good light-conducting and / or scattering surface.
- the sensor unit monitoring the operation of the door system should recognize this person and control the drive.
- a sensor unit may be a video camera, an ultrasonic sensor, a thermal imaging camera or an IR sensor.
- the sensor unit should detect when the person leaves the opening and closing area of the door system
- the drive controls such door systems are well known and will not be explained in detail here. It is important according to the invention that the door control now simultaneously generates a visually perceptible light signal in or on the door element, which correlates with the opening and closing and resting state of the door system and signals the user when the door system is safe to use.
- the light effect is generated differently colored depending on the opening and closing state during the opening and closing phase.
- the light effect in the door element in the resting state of the door is different color than during the opening or closing phase.
- the term "light effect”, which is preferably generated in the space between a multi-pane glass, is therefore to be understood broadly. This is all visual information that clearly indicates the operating status of the door system to a person using the door system in a logically understandable manner.
- the arrangement of the light generation in the space between ESG or laminated glass results in the advantage that this space is free from harmful environmental influences and that the light-generating elements are protected from damage. Moreover, there is still a heating effect on the discs, which do not start at cold outdoor temperatures. With relatively low electrical power, it is possible to distribute the light at a shallow angle to the panes, which are thus illuminated over a large area and uniformly. It is also a light introduction in the sense of a total reflection in the (one or more) disc (s) possible. In this case, the light-generating elements are arranged on the end faces of the discs.
- two door elements (1) are shown, which cover at least the door opening (6) and are usually made larger laterally.
- the door elements (1) can be formed in the size of the door opening (6) or depending on the design larger or smaller. Often the door elements (1) are guided in recessed guide rails. Instead of a sliding door with door elements (1) also folding door systems or hinged door systems or hinged door systems can be used.
- the frame (4) of a door element (1) can be arranged on all 4 sides, but can also be arranged only piecewise on one of the four sides.
- such door elements (1) are formed from LSG and / or ESG door elements. Insulating glass arrangements can also be used in exterior door arrangements to form a thermal barrier.
- At least one light element (3) is arranged at least piecewise on at least one of the four edges.
- the light element (3) can be formed in the simplest embodiment of one or more LED devices, however, it can also be laser diodes or EL strips are used.
- ie holograms or kinegrams or volume holograms can be integrated into the door element (1).
- diffractive effects can be visualized and can be further realized three-dimensional effects as well as moving effects.
- a low-voltage power supply for example, at 12 volts or 24 volts, preferred because in these cases, no double insulation must be complied with and the security remains guaranteed even in the event of a defect.
- a frame (4) is understood as meaning any type of edge of a door element (1).
- frame systems based on stainless steel or aluminum or aluminum-containing alloys or correspondingly surface-coated or treated aluminum frame elements are used as well as thermoplastic and thermoset to elastomeric plastic frame elements.
- the frame must be matched to it.
- the light element (3) is according to the prior art, see for example the disclosure DE10322561A1 (Isolar, Inventor: Arnold, Cesnik, Krampl; "Door element with light frame”) integrated in the frame (4) or the door element (1).
- FIG. 2 is the change of the light effect from the idle state (blue after FIG. 1 ) in green during the opening phase. It is envisaged that the change from blue to green only appears if the door has been opened at least by a gap that is safe for passage.
- FIG. 3 the closing phase is shown. Also there, the color "red” may be displayed together with a graphic information during the beginning of the closing process.
- the invention is not limited to door systems in buildings; it can also be applied to door systems in water, land and air vehicles.
