Claims (11)

  1. Dispositif d'alimentation de barres métalliques (11) vers une machine de travail (13), ledit dispositif (10) comprenant au moins un magasin (15) dans lequel lesdites barres métalliques (11) sont regroupées en au moins un paquet, et un moyen de prélèvement (16) apte à extraire une ou plusieurs barres (11) à la fois de l'un desdits, paquets afin de les amener à ladite machine de travail (13), ledit dispositif d'alimentation comprenant aussi une unité de translation (40) dotée d'au moins un plan de support (17) desdites barres (11), placé en position intermédiaire entre ledit magasin (15) et ladite machine de travail (13), et un moyen de transport (30) pouvant être actionné sélectivement pour transférer latéralement les barres métalliques (11), après qu'elles aient été complètement extraites du paquet, vers ladite machine de travail (13), dispositif caractérisé en ce que ledit plan de support (17) comprend une pluralité de bancs (117) séparés longitudinalement à intervalle les uns des autres, ledit moyen de transport (30) étant placé entre au moins deux desdits bancs adjacents (117)..
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits bancs (117) sont placés en position sensiblement transversale au développement longitudinal du plan de support (17).
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chacun desdits bancs (117) comprend un ou plusieurs éléments cylindriques en rotation libre par rapport à un axe (Y), sensiblement perpendiculaire au développement longitudinal du plan de support (17).
  4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de transport comprend au moins une chaîne motorisée (30), placée transversalement au développement longitudinal dudit plan de support (17).
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit plan de support (17), au niveau d'une extrémité opposée à celle qui fait face audit magasin (15), possède un élément de butée (28) destiné à diriger et arrêter lesdites barres métalliques (11).
  6. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ladite chaîne (30) supporte au moins une lame de poussée (31) qui dépasse dudit plan de support (17).
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce que le sens de déplacement dudit moyen de transport (30) peut être sélectivement inversé afin de déplacer en translation les barres métalliques (11) d'un côté ou de l'autre dudit plan de support (17).
  8. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce que ladite machine de travail (13) comprend ou coopère avec une structure (36) destinée à cisailler lesdites barres métalliques (11) à dimension.
  9. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de prélèvement (16) comprend un chariot (20) pouvant glisser transversalement au développement longitudinal du magasin (15) et comprenant au moins une structure d'extraction (21) et une structure de chargement (22).
  10. Dispositif selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que ladite structure de chargement (22) comporte un moyen d'extraction de type magnétique (25, 26).
  11. Méthode d'alimentation de barres métalliques (11), placées en au moins un paquet dans un magasin (15), vers une machine de travail (13), caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend les étapes suivantes :
    au moins une barre (11) est complètement extraite dudit paquet par un élément de prélèvement (16) et placée sur un plan de support (17) placé en position intermédiaire entre ledit magasin (15) et ladite machine de travail (13) ;
    - un moyen de transport (30) est actionné, en coopération avec ledit plan de support (17), afin de transférer latéralement la barre métallique (11) sur une pluralité de bancs (117) séparés longitudinalement à intervalle les uns des autres, ledit moyen de transport (30) étant placé entre au moins deux desdits bancs adjacents (117), après qu'elle ait été complètement extraite du paquet, vers ladite machine de travail (13) ;
    - simultanément à ladite étape de transfert latéral de la barre extraite (11), l'élément de prélèvement (16) est actionné pour effectuer un nouveau cycle d'extraction d'une deuxième barre métallique (11) et de déchargement de celle-ci sur ledit plan de support (17).
