Definitions
- the invention relates to a railway sleeper, designed as a hollow sleeper with built-in functional elements such as a point closure, fürer rods or cable crossings, wherein the hollow sleeper is provided with transport engagement openings.
- railway sleepers are manifold, known type (see, for example EP 0 904 460 B1 . DE 43 15 200 C2 ), eg full sleepers made of concrete or wood and suitable for installation of functional elements hollow sleepers.
- threshold support tongs The underside of wooden or concrete sleepers is either just as wide or wider than the top, which allows for easy under hooking with a threshold carrying tongs.
- this has the disadvantage that the railroad tie can not stand on the ground, because the hooks of the threshold support tongs then can not reach under the railroad tie. If the railway sleepers are in the gravel, they must be cleared to the bottom of the gravel in order to be able to be hooked
- From the EP 0 904 460 A is a closed box threshold for switching devices known, are arranged in the electric heating elements.
- the box sill In order to allow heating element leads, such as cables, to be introduced, the box sill is provided with inlet openings. These are inclined, which makes it possible to insert a cable receiving cable protection tube in a relatively soft arc in the inlet opening.
- a particular difficulty occurs when transporting a hollow sleeper, as their upper side is wider than the bottom due to the function-related geometry, which makes an under hook extremely difficult or even completely impossible.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of designing a trained as a hollow sleeper railway sleeper so that in each case a simple transport and without the disadvantages mentioned is possible.
- the engagement openings are formed as extending from the threshold top, in the side walls over a partial length, preferably in the upper third of the side walls, downwardly extending longitudinal slots are formed. It can thus compensate for the greater width of the top of the railroad hollow sleeper, as the gun arms of the transport can dive into the longitudinal slots and can hook under the top plate of the hollow sleeper. This makes it possible to achieve that deviating from decades of practice, the hollow sleeper during assembly or the like no longer must be transported by under hooks, but by hooking the transport, such as a common threshold support pliers, in the Eingreifötechnischen that provide away from the ground or gravel let, preferably on both sides, opposite each other in the side walls of the hollow sleeper.
- a pair of engagement openings in the vicinity of the threshold are provided away from the rails.
- the railway sleeper can thus be unhindered by any inputs or structures of thus engage a to be applied to each end of the sleeper support and transport weight balanced.
- a railway sleeper 1 in the form of a hollow sleeper shown in the exemplary embodiment has a cross-section which tapers from top to bottom, ie towards the bottom (cf. Fig. 4 ) and thus a greater width of their top 2 than that of the bottom 3.
- cable guides 6 are arranged here.
- two transport means engagement openings 8a, 8b and 9a, 9b are formed on each of its side walls 7a, 7b in the area close to the threshold, opposite one another. These are in the embodiment according to Fig. 5 designed as longitudinal slots extending from the upper side 2 of the Einsenbahnschwelle 1 forth in the upper third of the side walls 7a, 7b down.

Description
The invention relates to a railway sleeper, designed as a hollow sleeper with built-in functional elements such as a point closure, Prüfer rods or cable crossings, wherein the hollow sleeper is provided with transport engagement openings.

A particular difficulty occurs when transporting a hollow sleeper, as their upper side is wider than the bottom due to the function-related geometry, which makes an under hook extremely difficult or even completely impossible.
The invention is therefore based on the problem of designing a trained as a hollow sleeper railway sleeper so that in each case a simple transport and without the disadvantages mentioned is possible.
This object is achieved in that the engagement openings are formed as extending from the threshold top, in the side walls over a partial length, preferably in the upper third of the side walls, downwardly extending longitudinal slots are formed. It can thus compensate for the greater width of the top of the railroad hollow sleeper, as the gun arms of the transport can dive into the longitudinal slots and can hook under the top plate of the hollow sleeper. This makes it possible to achieve that deviating from decades of practice, the hollow sleeper during assembly or the like no longer must be transported by under hooks, but by hooking the transport, such as a common threshold support pliers, in the Eingreiföffnungen that provide away from the ground or gravel let, preferably on both sides, opposite each other in the side walls of the hollow sleeper.
According to one proposal of the invention, a pair of engagement openings in the vicinity of the threshold are provided away from the rails. The railway sleeper can thus be unhindered by any inputs or structures of thus engage a to be applied to each end of the sleeper support and transport weight balanced.
