Method of changing roll sets (5, 6) in roll stands (2, 3, 4) of a rolling train (1) with several roll stands (2, 3, 4), which each have backing and working roll sets (5, 6), by supporting one on the other and subsequent movement out in axial direction of a working roll set (6) or a backing roll set (5) on the operating side (1b) into a roll shop (20) and subsequent movement back and installation of new roll sets (5, 6), characterised in that the worn working roll sets (6), which are transported by a number - which corresponds on the operating side (1b) with the number of roll stands (2, 3, 4) - of separate transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11), are brought in succession on a single connecting track (14a) by a single locomotive (21) into the roll shop (20) and the new working roll sets (6a) are moved back from there and are deposited at change spacings (2a, 3a, 4a) on the respective transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) between the roll stands (2, 3, 4) and after freeing of the operating side (1b) by the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) the worn backing roll sets (5) are moved out each time after a demounted worn working roll set (6) and brought by crane into the roll shop (20), serviced, transported back and reinstalled in the associated roll stands (2, 3, 4).
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that in a starting position (1a) in front of each roll stand (2, 3, 4) the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) are simultaneously set to the change spacing (2a, 3a, 4a), worn working roll sets (6) are moved out, after transverse movement onto the other carriage halves the new working roll sets (6a) are moved in and the worn working roll sets (6a) are moved each time by their transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) via slide strips at the chock into the roll shop (20), unloaded and a new working roll set (6a) is brought back again to the starting position (1a).
  3. Method according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that in the starting position (1a) in each instance the worn working roll set (6) is drawn onto the associated carriage half and that the new working roll set (6a) coming from the roll shop (20), which set corresponds with the change spacing (2a, 3a, 4a) in front of the roll stands (2, 3, 4), is pushed with axial spacing onto the other carriage half.
  4. Method according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) are moved in succession out of their defined roll stand installation or demounting positions in rolling direction (13).
  5. Method according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that in each instance the spacings and the change positions relative to an adjacent roll stand (2, 3, 4) are repeatedly and precisely set between the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) by way of intermediate plates (7a) pivoted into the horizontal and that the set change spacings (2a, 3a, 4a) are cancelled on pivotation or vertical setting of the intermediate plates (7a) and/or the connecting plates (18).
  6. Method according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that for change of the backing roll sets (5) by movement away of the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) a respective gap (12) is created in front of each roll stand (2, 3, 4) and a worn backing roll set (5) is removed by crane and a new, overhauled backing roll set (5) is moved in again by crane.
  7. Method according to claim 6, characterised in that the gap (12) in front of a roll stand (2, 3, 4) is closed again by pivotation in of the intermediate plates (7a) and the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) are moved back to the change spacings (2a, 3a, 4a).
  8. Method according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that empty transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) with pivoted-away intermediate plates (7a) are moved into and parked in a parking position at one and/or the other end of the rolling train (1).
  9. Equipment for changing roll sets (5, 6) in roll stands (2, 3, 4) of a rolling train (1) with several roll stands (2, 3, 4), which each have backing and working roll sets (5, 6), with a drive for transverse demounting or transverse installation of the roll sets (5, 6), wherein rails (14) for transversely displaceable carriages (9, 11) are laid parallel to the rolling direction (13) in the foundation (15) and connecting tracks (14a) into a roll shop (20) are laid and the transport carriages are connected with a drive, characterised in that the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) are movable on rails (14), which are laid continuously in the foundation (15), parallel to the rolling direction (13) to spacings (16), which are fixed between the roll stands (2, 3, 4) and which are controllable by means of pivotable intermediate plates (7a), and that only one connecting track (14a) runs perpendicularly to the rails (14) into the roll shop (20), on which only one locomotive (21) moves, to or from which in each instance a working roll set (6, 6a) can be coupled or decoupled.
  10. Equipment according to claim 9, characterised in that the intermediate plates (7a) are each pivotable upwardly or downwardly into the vertical or are settable into the horizontal.
  11. Equipment according to one of claims 9 and 10, characterised in that the intermediate plates (7a) are individually articulated in each instance to a transversely displaceable carriage (9, 10, 11) and are pivotable by means of a piston-cylinder drive (17) pivotably mounted at the transversely displaceable carriage (9, 10, 11).
  12. Equipment according to one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that the transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11), the intermediate plates (7a) pivoted into the horizontal and connecting plates (18), which are rotatably mounted in stationary position and which are pivotable-in upwardly and horizontally at the ends of a foundation pit (15a), form a work surface (19) able to be moved over continuously.
  13. Equipment according to one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that the connecting plates (18), which are respectively mounted in stationary position and to be pivotable, are arranged at the ends of the rails (14) extending parallel to the rolling direction (13), which plates allow a movement of all transversely displaceable carriages (9, 10, 11) together with the pivotable intermediate plates (7a) by at least half the transversely displaceable carriage (9, 10, 11).
