Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for stacking flat, flexible objects standing on a narrow side into a stacking compartment in a standing position according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the flat objects to be stacked can have relatively large differences in length, height and elasticity. They are transported one behind the other with the smallest possible distances, preferably clamped between elastic straps (shroud system). So that when stacking the front edges of the objects are not on the
- deflecting elements e.g. pivotable levers, similar to turnout wings
- US Re. 34,330 US 34330 E
- the deflection element is designed as a countercurrent switching element, i.e. the tip points in the undeflected state against the direction of transport of the objects away from the pivot point. If the deflection element is not retracted before it is reached from the front edge of an object, a frontal collision with the object occurs, which can lead to its destruction.
- the object of the invention is therefore to create an intended device which, with careful handling of the objects, both ensures that the rear edges of the objects to be stacked are pushed out of the bullet channel and also prevents objects which have already been successfully stacked from being caused by their Flexibility back in the bullet channel.
- one or more hook-shaped elements for deflecting and supporting the rear parts of the larger objects in the direction of movement in the direction of the stack support are arranged one above the other on the side of a transport plane for the path of the objects, each at one end on a controlled driven shaft are attached.
- the distance of the inner contour of the free end of the hook-shaped elements from the transport plane is greater than the thickest object and the distance of the outer contour of the free end from the transport plane is so large that the rear parts of the large stacked objects in the direction of transport keep the bullet channel clear are sustainable.
- sensors are provided for detecting the front and rear edges of the objects transported at a predetermined speed and evaluation means for determining the positions of the front and rear edges at specific times from the sensor signals.
- a control for controlling the drive of the shaft for the hook-shaped element or elements is designed as a function of these time-variable positions in such a way that when an object entering the stacking compartment is triggered by a sensor signal generated by the front edge of the incoming object, the or the hook-shaped elements are aligned so that the object moves into the hook-shaped element or elements and at the same time the rear edges of the large stacked objects are kept out of the bullet channel.
- the hook-shaped element is pivoted out of the transport plane in synchronization with the object movement in such a way that the object gets into the stacking compartment without hindrance.
- the distance of the hook-shaped element or elements from the stop wall is so large that the support function is maintained during the pivoting out until the front edge of the incoming object has a fixed overlap with the rear edges of the already stacked, supported objects.
- the hook-shaped element is then triggered again by a sensor signal generated by the trailing edge of the incoming object the rear edge supporting starting position pivoted.
- the hook-shaped element thus combines the functions of pushing out the rear edges of long, narrow objects and a support function which prevents large-sized, unstable objects in particular from sloping into the bullet channel after successful stacking by folding off the rear, upper free corner.
- the hook-shaped element has a part directed away from the pivot point, to which a part having an approximately circular arc-shaped outer contour adjoins, the center of curvature of which lies in the pivot point ,
- the parts of the hook-shaped elements touching the mail items advantageously have a low coefficient of friction.
- FIG. 4 shows a sectional view A-A.
- the objects 3 are individually clamped in belts 4 of a shroud system and passed into the stacking compartment.
- the belt of the shroud system facing the stacking compartment is not as far as the other belt is guided obliquely via deflection rollers 14 to a stop wall 11 on which the flat objects 3 are stopped, the stacking compartment.
- the objects 3 are guided into the scapel compartment only on one side.
- At the entrance to the stacking compartment there is a light barrier 5 in the transport path for detecting the arriving objects 3.
- the objects 3 pass hook-shaped elements 1 which are rotatably arranged one above the other and which at one end are driven by a shaft 13 controlled by a motor 9 are attached.
- This shaft 13 is located away from the stack 7, just behind the transport plane, which is defined by the shroud system and a guide 12. This is followed by the deflection roller 14 of the shroud system that is closest to the stop wall. A stacking roller 6 is then arranged on the transport path. Each object 3 is bent by the angle of the transport direction into the stacking compartment for aligning the stack around the stacking roller 6. By reducing the bending stress, the rear edges of the objects 3 move out of the bullet channel transversely to the transport direction. To support and accelerate this transverse movement, a known stacking spindle 8 is arranged in front of the stacking roller 6 on the side facing the stack 7.
- the rear edges of longer objects 3 which protrude far beyond the stacking spindle 8 are additionally removed from the insertion by the hook-shaped elements 1. shot channel moved out.
- the hook-shaped elements 1 are in such a position that a retracting object 3 moves into the open side of the hook-shaped elements 1 (FIG. 1).
- the hook-shaped elements 1 rotate in the direction of the arrow in such a way that, according to their chosen geometric shape, they lead the front edge of the incoming object until they have completely "disappeared" behind the transport plane (FIG. 2).
- the hook-shaped elements 1 combine the functions of pushing out the rear edges of long objects 3 and a support function which prevents, for example, large-sized unstable objects 3 from sloping into the bullet channel after successful stacking by kinking the rear, upper free corners.
- the surfaces with which the hook-shaped elements 1 come into contact with objects 3 to be stacked are designed with the least possible friction properties compared to the object material.
- the support function given by the outer contour of the hook geometry, for thin, large, unstable objects 3 is maintained until the front edge of the moving objects 3 sufficiently overlaps with inclined stacked objects.
- the hook-shaped elements 1 have now been positioned such that the rear sides of the hook geometries now emerge from the transport plane and thereby exert a continuously increasing lateral acceleration on the rear edge area of the object 3.
- this movement section of the hook-shaped elements 1 can take place with or against the transport direction of the moving-in object 3 (according to FIG. 3 against the transport direction), wherein a hook-shaped element 1 rotating in the transport direction has the advantage of a low relative speed to the moving-in object 3. If the hook-shaped elements 1 are again in the starting position, they stop and support the objects that have just been stacked in this position. The next process is then started again with the following item 3.
- the sequence of movements of the hook-shaped elements 1 is controlled and monitored by a control device which, depending on the object information obtained in preliminary processes and the signal from the light barrier 5 in the immediate vicinity, starts and controls a corresponding procedure on the front edge of the material to be stacked.
