Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a standpipe for connecting a downpipe with a duct connecting pipe, which has a sleeve portion with a predetermined inner diameter, wherein the standpipe has two terminal ends and a normal pipe section between the terminal ends, wherein the outer diameter of the normal pipe section of the standpipe is smaller than the inner diameter of the sleeve portion.
Such standpipes serve within a Dachentwässerungsleitungsanordnung for the discharge of rainwater to a sewer pipe, such as a sewer pipe. Typically, such a roof drainage pipe assembly comprises a house connected to a gutter of the house funnel, a outside of the house wall vertically arranged downpipe, a funnel connecting the funnel with the downpipe at its upper end connecting pipe and the normally lying in axial alignment with the rainfall pipe, it connected and embedded in the ground standpipe. The standpipe is connected at its lower, embedded in the bottom end of the sewer pipe.
The sewer pipes of the type considered here have at their upper end a plug-in sleeve for receiving a terminal end of a respective standpipe or for receiving a connecting piece, which creates a transition from the terminal end of the standpipe to the socket portion of the channel base pipe, if this is due to different diameter of the standpipe connection end and the sewer pipe socket section should be required. The latter is often the case, since in practice sewer pipes or sewer pipes with standardized sleeve sections are available in only a few different sizes, whereas downpipes and stanchions are available in finer size gradations are. Since the downpipe and the standpipe in the assembled arrangement are visible on the building, it is often desired to realize these elements as inconspicuous as possible and thus with the smallest possible diameter in the context of the functional requirements regarding the derivation ability. This has in practice regularly led to the fact that between the lower end of the standpipe and the sleeve portion of the sewer pipe, a separate transition piece was used, which has adapted the smaller outer diameter of the standpipe connection end to the larger inner diameter of the sleeve portion of the sewer pipe. This meant the need for the availability of transition pieces in various size gradations and also a relatively large installation effort in the assembly of the transition piece between the sewer pipe and standpipe.
The invention has for its object to remedy this situation and to propose a standpipe concept, which significantly reduces the assembly costs in the preparation of the connection between standpipe and sewer pipe in many cases.
To solve this problem is proposed according to the invention, starting from a standpipe of the type mentioned above, that the standpipe at one terminal end integrally formed with the normal pipe section Steckadapterabschnitt having a relation to the outer diameter of the normal pipe section enlarged outer diameter, said enlarged outer diameter of the inner diameter of Sleeve portion of the sewer pipe approximately corresponds or only slightly smaller, so that for the production of an immediate plug connection between the standpipe and the sewer pipe, the standpipe with its plug adapter portion fits into the sleeve portion of the sewer pipe.
It can thus within the scope of the invention stanchions different Diameter are provided, however, which have an integrally molded plug adapter portion which fits to a current size of a standard sleeve portion of a sewer pipe.
It thus largely unnecessary the known from the prior art transition pieces. Furthermore, the assembly effort is reduced significantly, since due to the omission of transition pieces only a plug connection between the standpipe and the sewer pipe, if necessary, with the inclusion of a seal is to be made.
Preferably, the standpipe is flared at the one terminal end to a larger diameter, wherein the flared portion forms the plug adapter portion.
The standpipe is preferably made of plastic or metal.
The invention is also an assortment of at least two, in particular more than two uprights according to one of the claims 1-4, wherein the uprights differ from each other in that their normal pipe sections have different sized outer diameter, but wherein the Steckadapterabschnitte substantially equal in size and in particular have outer diameters adapted to at least one standard dimension of duct connection sleeve sections.
