Abstract

757,501. Rainwater pipe connections. SVENSKA PLATROR AKTIEBOLAG. July 10, 1953, No. 19186/53. Class 99(1). To provide a spigot-and-socket joint between the pipes and junction-pieces of a rain-water pipe assembly in which the pipes &c. have a longitudinal overlapping seam 1, each pipe is enlarged at one end to form a socket A in which the seam projects externally at 2, the seam projecting internally at 3 for the remainder of the length of the pipe. Alternatively each pipe is reduced at one end to form a spigot portion with the seam projecting internally, the rest of the pipe having an externally projecting seam.
