Description

The invention relates to a lock which can be used for doors hinged right or left, with an accommodated in a housing, externally adjustable with an actuator nut, with an adjusting a bar between a pushed out of the housing closed position and one into the housing pushed open position is movable.

Such a castle is from the DE 195 41 944 C1 known.

In this lock, an adjustable locking piece is used. This can be changed over so that, according to the left / right use mode, the nut is reversed in its direction of rotation. This allows a user to set the lock depending on the selected type of door stop prior to lock assembly.

There are also known in the prior art latch locks. These have a latch that can be adjusted against the bias of a spring. In particular, a lock according to the preamble of claim 1 of the GB 1 554 731 A known.

It is an object of the invention to extend the functionality of a lock of the type mentioned.

This object is solved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

The bar or nut is thus coupled via a rotary rod directly or indirectly to a latch assembly. In this case, a low structural complexity and at the same time a high operational reliability is achieved in that the rotary rod by means of a drive rod coupled to the drive element another latch is adjustable, that the further latch is held in a latch housing against the bias of a spring element in its closed position, and that by means of the drive element of the further bolt is adjustable against the spring preload.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the adjusting member of the nut has two actuators, which abut in each case on a control cam of the first bolt and are spring-loaded there in the closed position of the bolt. About the spring, the nut or the actuators can be kept in a predetermined starting position. Thus, in particular, the nut can be kept in the closed position of the bolt in a defined starting position. A coupled with the nut handle is then also held in a starting position. About the bias of the spring a play-free adjustment of the bolt is also achieved with little construction effort.

It may be provided in particular that the spring holds the first latch against the actuators serving as stops in its biased position. The spring then takes on a dual function. First, it serves the bolt support. On the other hand, the nut is held with the spring in the starting position.

In order to realize comparable forces and / or adjustment properties on the lock both in the case of left and right stop, it can be provided that the two control cams are arranged symmetrically to a plane spanned by the feed direction of the first bolt and the axis of rotation of the nut. The symmetrical lock design then allows a simple lock construction. A light, in particular automated mountability of the lock arises when it is provided that the housing has a spring receptacle into which the spring in a first biasing position can be inserted, and that the first latch has a driver, the spring in the closed position associated second biasing position holds.

A conceivable alternative embodiment may be characterized in that the nut is supported on a spring element when the first latch is inserted into the housing. With the spring, the nut can be transferred independently of the bolt independently from the open to the closed position.

The parts expense can be kept low, in particular, if it is provided that the first bolt or the nut drives two identical bolt arrangements, each with a rotary rod.

In Fig. 1, a lock is shown in which in a housing 10, a latch 20 is housed. The bolt 20 has a closing tongue 21 which projects through an opening 13 from the receiving space 11 enclosed by the housing 10. The bolt 20 is mounted on two arranged in the receiving space 11 web-like guides 12 and can be placed on this in the image plane between an open position and a closed position. In this case, the closing tongue 21 moves between these positions in the housing 10 and out of the housing 10. As can be seen Fig. 2, the latch 20 is in the Receiving space 11 between the guides 12 and the receiving space 11 closing lid 16 out. The latch 20 has, following the closing tongue 21, a base part 26 to which two lateral projections 22 are integrally formed. Each of these approaches 22 is equipped with a web 24.1, each of which forms a control cam 24.

At the cams 24 is in each case an actuator 32 of a nut 30 at. The actuators 32 are formed finger-like and integrally formed on the nut 30. The nut 30 is rotatably supported in the housing 10 about the rotation axis 27 shown in FIG. For this purpose, the nut 30 has two bearing projections 34, one of which is mounted in a bearing receptacle of the lid 16 and the other in the bottom of the housing 10. The nut 30 has a square handle receptacle 31. In this, a square of a handle (not shown in the drawing) inserted through a corresponding opening 17 of the lid 16 and connected to the nut 30, for example, be locked.

The nut 30 engages with a central piece 15 an opening 23 in the bolt 20. This is formed slot-like, so that the nut 30 does not hinder the offset of the bolt 20 between the open and the closed position. In these end positions, however, the center piece 15 limits the displacement of the bolt 20 by abutting the slot ends. 1, the nut 30 is formed symmetrically to the plane defined by the axis of rotation 27 and the direction of displacement of the bolt 20. Likewise, the cams 24 are arranged symmetrically to this plane.

As shown in FIG. 2 reveals, a spring receptacle 14 is formed in the region of the bottom of the housing 10. In this is a spring 19, in this case a Coiled spring inserted. The spring 19 is held between two spring stops 14.1 in a first biasing position. The bolt 20 has a driver 25 which engages through a recess in the facing spring stop 14.1 and is in contact with the end face of the spring 19. In this case, the spring 19 biases the latch 20 via the driver 25. About the cams 24.1 of the bolt 20 so that the nut 30 is biased held on the actuators 32. The nut 30 can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by means of the handle, not shown, from its initial position associated with the lock shown in FIG. Upon rotation of the nut 30, the respective actuator 32 slides on the associated control cam 24.1. At the same time, an end rounding 33 protects the control cam 24.1. About the actuator 32, the latch 20 is pulled into the housing 10. The bolt 20 biases over its driver 25, the spring 19 at the bolt offset. When the middle piece 15 abuts against the end of the slot-like opening 23, the latch 20 is in the open position.

The latch 20 can be returned to the closed position when the handle / nut 30 is relieved. Then pushes the spring 19, the bolt 20 back. At the same time, the nut 30 is returned to its original position.

The castle is designed as a latch lock. Accordingly, the locking tongue 21 can be deflected via a deflection bevel 21.1 on a latch. Then, the latch 20 is inserted against the action of the spring 19 in the housing 10. So that the nut 30 assumes no undefined position, an additional, not shown in the drawing spring element is used, which holds the nut 30 biased in the starting position shown in FIG.

Such a spring element 40 is shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. The lock illustrated in these drawings is essentially identical in construction and function to the lock shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The differences and the extended lock functionalities will be discussed in more detail below.

The spring element 40 is designed as a torsion spring. It has two spring arms 41 a and 41 b. These are spring biased in the region of their free ends on stops 42 of the housing 10 from. The two spring arms 41 a, 41 b are arranged at an angle to each other and cross each other. In the region of the crossing point, a projection 35 of the nut 30 is arranged. In the closed position shown in Fig. 3, the projection 35 is located on one or both spring arms 41 a, 41 b, so that the nut is held in the position shown. Now, when the nut 30 is rotated to transfer the lock from the closed to the open position, the projection 35, depending on the direction of rotation of the nut 30 moves one of the two spring arms 41a, 41b from the initial position shown in Fig. 3. In this case, the respective spring arm 41 a, 41 b is lifted from the associated stop 42, as shown in FIG. 4. The spring element 40 is then tensioned until the spring arm 41 a, 41 b on a housing-fixed stop 37 limits the rotational movement of the nut 30. This lock position is shown in FIG. 4. In this case, the latch 20 is fully retracted into the housing 10. Now, if the actuated by a handle nut 30 is relieved again, this again adjusted under the influence of the spring element 40 automatically in the return position shown in Fig. 3.

As can be seen Fig. 3, the latch 30 as in the lock gem. Fig. 1 and 2 supported by a spring element 19 against the opening direction, so that it is held without play in the closed position.

The lock shown in Figs. 3 and 4 is provided according to the invention with a rotating rod mechanism. For this purpose, a drive element 50 is rotatably held in two bearing receptacles 36 of the housing 10 in each case. In this case, the axis of rotation of the drive elements 50 extends in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation 27 of the nut 20. The drive elements 50 engage with a respective driver 51 in a slot-shaped receptacle which is introduced into the projection 22 of the bolt 20. Thus, the driver 51 can be adjusted at a displacement of the bolt 20. Since the drivers are arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation of the drive elements 50, the translational movement of the bolt 20 can be converted into a rotational movement of the drive element 50.

In dieser kann eine im Querscnitt unrunde Drehstange 52 eingesetzt werdenThe drive elements 51 have plug-in receptacles, which are accessible through an opening in the housing 10. In this, a non-round in the cross-section rotary rod 52 can be used

To the rotary rod 52, facing away from the lock, coupled a latch assembly. This has a linear adjustable between an open and a closed position latch 62. This is adjustable in guides of a latch housing 60. The latch 62 is held biased by a spring element 61 in the position shown in FIG. It can be pushed against the spring force in the latch housing 60.

The latch 62 has laterally receptacles 63, engage in the driver 51 of drive elements 50. The drive elements 50 are identical to the aforementioned drive elements 50 inserted in the lock housing 10. They are rotatably accommodated in bearings of the lock housing 60. With one of the two drive elements 50, the rotary rod 52 is coupled. The second drive element 50 may be used when the latch assembly is to be used on the opposite side of the lock, or if each of a pair of drive members 50 held in the housing 10 is to drive a pivot bar 52. Then identical latch arrangements can be used.

3 and 4, the bolt 62 has a deflection bevel 64. This has the same function as that of the bolt 20. The bolt housing 60 can be closed with a lid. This also serves as a guide for the latch 62 and he limits this offset on a stop 65th

The locking arrangement can be converted by means of the rotary rod 52 from the closed state shown in Fig. 3 in the opening state shown in FIG. 4. In this case, the driver 51 pulls the latch into the latch housing 60. With a relief of the nut 30, as described above, the nut and at the same time the bolt 20 is moved back to the starting position. In this case, the rotary rod 52 is also rotated back and the latch 62 released. This can then be moved back by the spring element 61 in its starting position shown in Fig. 1.
