Definitions
- This invention relates to a drinking and pouring closure with a piercing cutter for opening a composite package equipped therewith or for opening a container or bottle neck sealed with a sealing foil and equipped with such a drinking or pouring cap.
- the composite packages are intended in particular for those made of film-coated paper in which, for example, milk, fruit juices, mineral waters and all sorts of other drinks are packaged.
- the paper of such composite packages is a laminate material, such as a paper or board web coated with plastic such as polyethylene and / or aluminum. Common volumes of such packages range from 20cl up to 2 liters and more.
- the spout closure can also be mounted on containers or bottles, the nozzles of which are sealed by a sealing film made of film material, for example on all kinds of bottles made of glass or PET plastic or similar containers.
- Such closures made of plastic are known in various designs. They form, when they are intended for a composite package, essentially a pourer edge or pouring spout with radially projecting from its lower edge shoulder which forms a final flange at this edge or neck. In the case of a pour spout, this is usually equipped with an external thread on which a threaded cap can be screwed as a closure. In the case of a bottle cap, the spout can be plugged or screwed onto a bottle mouth.
- Other pourer closures have a hinged lid which hinges over a film hinge.
- Such a spout closure is flanged onto the composite package by sealingly sealing it to the composite package with the underside of its overhanging edge, that is, the underside of its flange.
- the free passage at the lower end of the edge or neck of the closure is then sealed tightly from the composite laminate of paper and sealing film of the composite package.
- the film-reinforced paper passing through below the welded-on nozzle or pourer closure or the film membrane running below the nozzle or closure must be cut open, torn open or pushed away to open the passage and to empty the liquid from the container through the nozzle or pourer. Closure poured out or can be distributed.
- a sleeve is arranged in the interior of the nozzle, which is entrained when turning the screwed cap of this and is therefore rotated by this in the same direction of rotation.
- this sleeve moves when unscrewing the threaded cap, that is, when this moves relative to the liquid pack upwards steadily after below.
- the lower edge of the sleeve is equipped with one or more tearing or incisors. As a result, the sleeve is due to their rotation and steady downward movement, push out or cut out a disc from the film-reinforced paper passing through it or the membrane membrane there.
- the slowly downwardly moving and simultaneously rotating sleeve touches with its entire lower edge almost simultaneously the foil-to-be-sliced paper web to be sliced and pushes it all down and turns on it until a hole is more scraped or broken through rather than cut.
- the foil to be cut avoids the pressure of the sleeve, which acts as a drill bit, and thus the sleeve no longer acts on a flat paper foil, but on a downwardly curved foil .
- JP 2001 171716 A a closure intended for a bottle and having a sleeve and an associated threaded lid with hinged lid.
- the sleeve has a central breakable disc and is placed over the neck of a bottle, where it clicks on a circumferential rib and is subsequently secured to train.
- a warranty strip is sprayed.
- the threaded cap on the sleeve can be screwed further down, and thereby engages a knife in the disc, so it pierces the edge through and cuts them a bit and finally folds down.
- the threaded cap with its lid and passage in it is hardly suitable as a drinking nozzle.
- the WO 01/49583 A shows a closure, which consists of a threaded cap, the top of which protrudes a neck, with two circumferential grooves on its outside, which are mounted at different heights.
- this neck cap is slipped, and this has at the bottom a central mandrel, which is hollow at the top and has lateral openings.
- the cavity communicates with an opening in the lid of the cap to the outside.
- the cap can be pushed down so that it snaps into the lower groove. But then the mandrel also moves down and pierces a foil which is mounted over a neck of an associated bottle. But there is no circular slicing of the film, so that a large flow occurs.
- FIG. 1 the drinking and pouring with open lid cap is shown in a perspective view. It consists of a total of only two pieces together, namely a nozzle 1 with here projecting lower edge 5, which forms a flange, with which the closure sealing on a composite package is weldable, and a attachable to this nozzle 1 mouth or pouring piece 2, to which also integrally formed on a resiliently flexible securing band 4, a lid cap 3 is integrally formed. This has a sealing lip on its underside so that it acts on the opening in the mouth or pouring piece as a dust and sealing cap.
- the mouth or pouring piece 2 forms a ring with projecting, round edge 6.
- a sleeve 7 extends downwards, and below the sleeve 7 is designed as a predetermined breaking points material bridges a circumferential, with its outside with the Sleeve aligned band 8 molded.
- This volume 8 acts as a backup and warranty band as will become clear. As long as this band 8 rests against the sleeve 7, the drinking and pouring closure can not be opened.
- the outwardly projecting flange 5 which belongs to the neck of the closure, which, however, is not visible here.
- the cap lid 3 is open and it always depends on the elastically deformable securing band 4. It can be attached to the mouth or pouring piece 2 by bending this securing band 4.
- On its inside a sealing nozzle 12 is integrally formed with sealing lip, which fits drop-tight in the inside width of the mouth or pouring piece 2.
- FIG. 3 shows this drinking and pouring in a diametrical section through the mouth or pouring piece 2 with its lancing cutter 13 and the closure associated with the nozzle 14.
- the nozzle 14 is with his bottom projecting edge forming a flange 5, welded sealingly on a composite package.
- the mouth or pouring piece 2 is attached, which includes a special piercing cutter 13.
- This lancing cutter 13 consists in principle of a nipple, which is formed downwardly formed on the mouth or pouring piece 2 and fits into the inside width of the nozzle 14.
- the outer sleeve 7 at the mouth or pouring piece 2 is slipped over the socket 14.
- the circumferential band 8 which is held over a few material bridges at the bottom of the sleeve 7 and initially prevents depression of the mouth or pouring piece on the neck. It therefore acts as a guarantee and guarantee band and thus grants a first-opening guarantee. As long as this band 8 has not been torn away from the lower edge of the sleeve 7, the closure can not be opened, as will become clear in the further description.
- the nozzle 14 has at its upper edge an inwardly projecting small projection 15 and the nipple, which forms the piercing cutter 13, has on its outer side an upward, small protruding step 16.
- the mouth or pouring piece 2 is pressed during its assembly on the socket 14 and thereby slips the step 16 with its downwardly beveled surface on the cantilever edge and the step 16 acts after a barb, so that the mouth or pouring Piece 2 can no longer be deducted from the nozzle 14 and held at this drip-sealing and secured.
- the nipple which forms the lancing cutter 13
- the lower edge 18 runs into a point 17 by running with its thus curved lower edge downwards to these tips 17.
- the guarantee band 8 For the first time opening this drinking closure, the guarantee band 8 must first be torn away and completely removed, for which purpose it can be grasped at the tab 11. Only when this guarantee strip 8 is completely removed, namely the mouth or pouring piece 2 can be moved down. For this purpose, it is pressed down vigorously, causing the piercing cutter 13 to puncture the composite packing or sealing foil lying below it, and during further depression under forced rotation by means of its curved sharp edge 18 along the inner edge of the nozzle 14 cuts, whereby the closure and the underlying sealing film is opened.
- the mouth or pouring piece must turn when pressed on the neck 14.
- FIG. 4 the mouth or pouring piece 2 is shown enlarged with Depressed lancing cutter 13, with respect to the FIG. 3 Seen from the right side there, so that the lid cap 3 is located behind the mouth or pouring piece 2.
- Auskragung 15 the guide means can be seen, by virtue of which the mouth or pouring piece 2 experiences a torque during depression, so that therefore the whole mouth and pouring piece 2 together with its piercing cutter 13 during its axial depression simultaneously 90 ° twisted to 180 °.
- These guide means consist here of two helically with steep slope on the outside guided along grooves 19, in which two associated knobs run or slide 20, which are formed on the inside of the lower edge of the outer sleeve 7 at the mouth or pouring piece 2.
- the piercing cutter 13 shown here has two tips 17 for piercing the composite laminate or the sealing film, and these are connected by curved sharp edges 18 together.
- the two tips 17 are arranged slightly offset in their position on the circumference of the lancing cutter sleeve 13 and are therefore not intentionally positioned offset exactly by 180 ° from each other.
- the piercing cutter sleeve 13 pierces the film at two points and, as a result of its rotation, immediately cuts further.
- FIG. 6 shows a function identical in the drinking cap, the nozzle flange is integrated into a threaded cap 21.
- FIG. 7 you can see this drinking closure seen from the side, with intact first opening guarantee band 8 and tab 11 for tearing this band 8.
- Die FIG. 8 shows this drinking closure with threaded cap 21 with the exception of the cover cap 3 seen from the side in a diametrical section.
- the lid cap 3 acts as a sealing and dust cap, so that the closure is drip-proof when not in use.
- the closure is constructed exactly the same as the one in the FIGS. 1 to 5 is shown, with the only difference that it is mounted here on a threaded cap 21 and its neck is formed on the top 22 of a threaded cap 21, which forms the projection on the neck 1, so to speak.
- FIG. 9 shows this drinking closure after the tearing of the first-opening guarantee belt and after pressing down the mouth or pouring piece 2, which was now depressed under inevitable rotation to the stop on the top 22 of the threaded cap 21 on the same.
- FIG. 10 is the drinking and pouring in a diametrical section along the line BB in FIG. 9 shown in the picture in FIG. 9 seen from the right.
- the cap cover 3 is therefore in this sectional view behind the mouth or pouring piece 2.
- the guide means for the forced rotation of the mouth or pouring piece 2 and its bottom integrally formed piercer 13 are the same as already for the variant of the FIGS. 1 to 5 described.
- FIG. 11 an alternative embodiment of such a pouring closure is shown, which is particularly suitable for pasty ingredients of the consistency of mayonnaise or the like.
- This closure is shown here obliquely from below, with open lid and rotating cap 3 and before the first opening. It also consists of a nozzle, which, however, is not visible here, and a pouring piece 2, which forms here with its upper end a dome-like shape, which is opened by diametrical cuts 24.
- the pouring piece 2 runs out into a piercing cutter 13, which has a sharp lower edge 18.
- the pouring piece 2 forms on its underside a sleeve 7 which surrounds the piercing cutter 17 at a distance by far.
- an edge 25 is formed on the pouring piece 2. which is connected via some fine material bridges with the guarantee strip 8.
- a tab 11 is also formed, on which it can be taken and torn away from the pouring piece 2 by breaking the fine material bridges to the edge 25.
- a toothed edge 26 is formed on the pouring piece 2, which forms a kind of gear and its function is clear from the further drawings.
- FIG. 12 shows this pouring closure for pasty ingredients of seen diagonally above.
- the dome-like tip of the pouring piece 2 is opened with a number of diametrical cuts 24. These open in the center into a pouring opening 29.
- the lid and rotating cap 3 is here unfolded around the film hinge 27. On its inside, the lid and rotary cap 3 is formed below or along its opening in a toothed inner surface 28. This toothing fits exactly on the teeth of the toothed edge 26 on the nozzle 2.
- the lid and rotating cap 3 is held by a film hinge 27. Now, if the lid and rotary cap 3 is folded onto the pouring piece 2, the teeth engages along its inner edge in the toothing of the toothed edge 26 at the pouring piece 2 a.
- FIG. 13 shows the nozzle 1 alone seen from above.
- a helical groove 19 is except on its outside, in which special, provided on the sleeve 7 on the underside of the pouring piece 2 cam engage and force the depression of the pouring piece 2 on this neck 1 in a rotation ,
- the actual torque on the engraver is achieved by the lid cap engages with its toothed lower inner edge in the outer toothed edge on the pouring piece 2 and can be rotated by turning the knurled on the outside cap of the lancing cutter on Ausgiesser piece vigorously.
- On the underside of the nozzle 1 here includes a threaded cap 21, with which the closure on the threaded neck of a container or bottle can be screwed.
- FIG. 14 shows a variant in which the pouring piece 2 as Pouring or drinking spout is formed. Otherwise, this embodiment does not differ from that according to the FIGS. 11 to 13 , So only the upper part of the pouring piece 2 is shaped differently here. Instead of a dome-shaped tip occurs here a Rohrend consortium with blunt edge. This can serve on the one hand for the mere pouring out of a bottle or container contents, but also for attaching to the mouth to drink directly from a bottle.
- the FIG. 15 shows this drinking or pouring from obliquely seen below with unfolded lid and rotating cap, and the FIG. 16 finally shows him from diagonally above.

Abstract
Description
This invention relates to a drinking and pouring closure with a piercing cutter for opening a composite package equipped therewith or for opening a container or bottle neck sealed with a sealing foil and equipped with such a drinking or pouring cap. The composite packages are intended in particular for those made of film-coated paper in which, for example, milk, fruit juices, mineral waters and all sorts of other drinks are packaged. The paper of such composite packages is a laminate material, such as a paper or board web coated with plastic such as polyethylene and / or aluminum. Common volumes of such packages range from 20cl up to 2 liters and more. Alternatively, the spout closure can also be mounted on containers or bottles, the nozzles of which are sealed by a sealing film made of film material, for example on all kinds of bottles made of glass or PET plastic or similar containers.
Such closures made of plastic are known in various designs. Other pourer closures have a hinged lid which hinges over a film hinge. Such a spout closure is flanged onto the composite package by sealingly sealing it to the composite package with the underside of its overhanging edge, that is, the underside of its flange. The free passage at the lower end of the edge or neck of the closure is then sealed tightly from the composite laminate of paper and sealing film of the composite package.
The film-reinforced paper passing through below the welded-on nozzle or pourer closure or the film membrane running below the nozzle or closure must be cut open, torn open or pushed away to open the passage and to empty the liquid from the container through the nozzle or pourer. Closure poured out or can be distributed. For this purpose, a sleeve is arranged in the interior of the nozzle, which is entrained when turning the screwed cap of this and is therefore rotated by this in the same direction of rotation. By a thread on the outside of the nozzle and the inside of the cap opposite thread on the inside of the nozzle and on the outside of the sleeve, this sleeve moves when unscrewing the threaded cap, that is, when this moves relative to the liquid pack upwards steadily after below. The lower edge of the sleeve is equipped with one or more tearing or incisors. As a result, the sleeve is due to their rotation and steady downward movement, push out or cut out a disc from the film-reinforced paper passing through it or the membrane membrane there.
However, conventional self-opening closures do not always work to full satisfaction. Often, no slices are cut out cleanly from the paper or film membrane, but rather, these sleeves simply push a piece of film out of it. The remaining margin is frayed and thus scraps of paper or scraps of paper protrude into the passage, which should actually be uncovered. These shreds often protrude down into the container or they even protrude into the path of the outflowing liquid jet. For larger packages with stronger foil-reinforced paper or cardboard, the opening is made even less reliable and clean. The slowly downwardly moving and simultaneously rotating sleeve touches with its entire lower edge almost simultaneously the foil-to-be-sliced paper web to be sliced and pushes it all down and turns on it until a hole is more scraped or broken through rather than cut. One of the reasons why slicing is not correct is because, among other things, the foil to be cut avoids the pressure of the sleeve, which acts as a drill bit, and thus the sleeve no longer acts on a flat paper foil, but on a downwardly curved foil , Next require the previous solutions due to the design of the sleeves, which are also referred to as Durchstecksser reason, because they pierce just more a piece of paper foil than a circular disc clean cut, a considerable force on the part of the user. It must namely be applied a large torque, because the teeth or tears on the lower piercer edge or sleeve edge, the film initially spread around the entire circumference only scratch and then have to overcome a large rotational resistance. They act in the uppermost layer of the paper thickness much like rip-off teeth, namely chipping, pushing and tearing rather than acting as actual cutting blades with sharp cutting edges.
To facilitate breaking or tearing, for conventional self-opener closures of this type, the sheet material or composite is lasered or punched at the desired tear locations pre-weakened. However, this Vorschwächen is technically associated with considerable effort. You need expensive equipment and handling the processing of the piercing points on the slides is time consuming. Despite these elaborate mitigating measures, the conventional self-opener closures do not cut cleanly but rather move the paper or plastic film up rather than cutting it clean, which explains the high rotational resistances. Because of the large rotational resistances occur from time to time even breaks the power transmission means, which should take over the transmission of torque from the threaded cap on the Durchstosserhülse, or provided Mitnehmocken which engage in grooves on the Durchstosserhülse, jump out of these grooves. If this happens, the self-opener shutter will no longer work.
Another problem is that the torn-out or half-cut out foil disc is not folded down enough from the piercing sleeve, or the foil disc stays down too low over the useful life of the cap because the piercing sleeve is not securely fixed in its end position. All these problems should be solved by a proper drinking cap.
