Definitions
- This invention relates to a flat self-opener closure for composite packages as well as with foil material to be sealed container neck or bottle neck of all kinds. It is especially thought of liquid packages in the form of such composite packages of foil-coated paper, in which about milk, fruit juices, all kinds of non-alcoholic drinks or general liquids also be packaged from the non-food area.
- the closure can also be used for composite packages in which bulk goods such as sugar, semolina or all kinds of chemicals and the like are stored or packaged.
- This film-coated paper is a laminate material, such as a paper or board web coated with plastic such as polyethylene and / or aluminum. Common volumes of such packages range from 20cl up to 2 liters and more.
- the self-opening closure can also be mounted on containers that are closed by a foil material, for example on all kinds of bottles made of glass or plastic or on similar containers.
- a foil material for example on all kinds of bottles made of glass or plastic or on similar containers.
- Such closures made of plastic are known in various designs. They form, when they are intended for a composite package, essentially a spout with radially projecting from its lower edge shoulder, which is a final closing on this spout Flange forms.
- the nozzle is equipped with an external thread on which a threaded cap can be screwed as a closure.
- Such a self-opener closure is flanged onto the composite package by sealingly adhering or adhering to the composite package with the underside of its overhanging edge, that is, the underside of its flange.
- the free passage at the lower end of the nozzle is then closed by the paper and the sealing film of the composite package.
- the spout is in turn plugged or screwed onto a bottle mouth and closed on its inside with a foil membrane.
- the nozzle is equipped with an external thread on which then the threaded cap can be screwed as a closure.
- the film-reinforced paper passing through below the welded or glued neck or the film membrane running inside the neck must be cut open, torn open or pushed away in order to clear the passage and allow the liquid or bulk material to be poured out of the container through the neck ,
- a sleeve is arranged in the interior of the nozzle, which is pressed axially upon rotation of the screwed cap of this and is then rotated by this in the same direction of rotation.
- the lower edge of the sleeve is equipped with one or more lancing or incisors. As a result, the sleeve is due to their axial downward movement and the following rotation, a disc cut out of the continuous under her foil-reinforced paper or the membrane membrane there.
- This self-opener sleeve, the spout nozzle and the rotary cap are equipped with guide and power transmission means which cooperate with each other so that the first time turning the rotary cap in the opening direction, the self-opening sleeve is first in the spout nozzle without rotation axially downward bumped and then is rotatable about its axis without axial movement.
- the sleeve must have a certain length in relation to their diameter, which allows their stable guidance in the spout in the axial direction, so that tilting is reliably avoided. This requires a corresponding height of the self-opener closure.
- the self-opening sleeve must be made relatively heavy and solid to accommodate the reaction forces emanating from a single lancing and cutting member.
- the Clearö Samuelsgarantie at such a closure is usually guaranteed by a guarantee ring is formed on a plurality of predetermined breaking points at the bottom of the cap, in which case the guarantee ring is bounced during initial assembly over a bead on the spout nozzle.
- a guarantee ring is formed on a plurality of predetermined breaking points at the bottom of the cap, in which case the guarantee ring is bounced during initial assembly over a bead on the spout nozzle.
- To open the cap for the first time many individual predetermined breaking points must be broken at the same time, which requires a correspondingly large amount of force.
- this self-opener closure The basic purpose of this self-opener closure is to achieve a much flatter and lighter design with lower height, the self-opening sleeve still opens the film reliably without jamming.
- the self-opener closure should also use less plastic material thanks to its low height.
- this self-opener closure is also intended to provide a tamper evident guarantee that is easier for the operator of the closure to overcome.
- This first-opening guarantee should also be flatter and lighter at the same time, ie using less plastic material.
- a flat self-opener closure for composite packages as well as for container or bottle neck to be closed with foil material consisting of a spout nozzle which is sealingly mountable on a composite package or on a container or bottle neck to be sealed with foil material, an associated rotary cap and arranged within the spout nozzle Self-opening sleeve, which is set in rotation by the rotary cap, wherein the self-opening sleeve at its lower edge and projecting therefrom has at least one combined lancing and cutting member, and is characterized in that the Setbstöffner Wennse on its inside to Center of the sleeve extending nail-shaped projections with nail shank and nail head, the nail shank and nail head underside are determined as guides for concentric with the cap rotation axis arranged on the inside of the cap lid Cytinderwandsegmente, each one at the top of the lid verlitzwinklig verl aufende sloping surface and an adjoining perpendic
- FIG. 1 shows the self-opener closure with its three components in a disassembled state shown in perspective, the view of obliquely falling on top of the closure. It can be seen above the rotary cap 1, in the middle of the self-opening sleeve 2 and below the spout 3.
- the rotary cap 1 is designed as a threaded cap and equipped accordingly with an internal thread, which fits on the external thread 4 on the spout 3.
- the self-opener sleeve 2 has as its first essential feature on its lower wheel and from this downwardly projecting three combined piercing and cutting members 5-7.
- Two of these piercing and cutting members namely the piercing and cutting member 5 and 6, are diametrically opposed to each other; while the third piercing and cutting member 7 between 85 ° and 100 ° of the circumference of the self-opening sleeve of the other two piercing and cutting members 5 and 6 is formed at its lower edge 8.
- the self-opening sleeve 2 on its inside three evenly distributed around the circumference arranged, extending to the center of the sleeve, nail-shaped projections 9,10,11 with nail shank 12 and nail head 13 on.
- the actual nail shank 12 of each of these projections 9-11 and the underside of the respective nail heads 13 act as guides and power transmission elements for three concentric with the cap rotation axis arranged on the inside of its lid cylinder wall segments, which are still visible in a further illustration of the cap 1.
- the self-opening sleeve 2 has a slightly projecting edge 14, from the outside of which recesses 29 are present over certain sections of the circumference.
- axially extending ribs 15-17 are formed on the outer wall of the self-opener sleeve 2 axially extending ribs 15-17 are formed. These cooperate with corresponding axial ribs 18 and horizontal ribs 19 on the inside of the spout 3, as will be explained.
- the self-opener sleeve 2 is used for the assembly of the closure in the correct rotational position in the spout 3 and then the cap 1 is manufacturedprellt together with the integrally formed on the material bridges 22-24 plate 21 on the thread 4 of the spout 2 and the element 21 is then pressed with its bolts on its underside into the holes in the spout flange 20.
- the fine material bridges 22-24 are first broken. Because these bridges of material 22-24 are arranged parallel to the spout and not all radially, they do not all break at the same time. First, the material bridge 24 is stretched and breaks, then follows the middle material bridge 23 and finally breaks the material bridge 22. This successive breaking of the material bridges 22-24 less effort is required than in previous solutions, which requires the simultaneous breaking of a variety of material bridges made. Therefore, the thus-designed first-time guarantee can be easily overcome even by older and weak people. In a variant, the middle, here arranged radially to the nozzle material bridge 23 previously punched by machine so that the finished closure only the two outer material bridges 24 and 22 must be broken successively by turning the cap 1.
- FIG. 2 You can see the self-opener closure with its three components in a disassembled state in a perspective view.
- the individual components are each shown in a sectional view, namely in an axial section.
- These cylinder wall segments 26 all have an acute angle to the underside of the lid extending inclined surface 27, to which a bottom of the lid perpendicular sliding surface 28 connects.
- this inclined surface 27 acts on the nail shank 12 of the nail-shaped Anformung 11 on the inner wall of the self-opener sleeve 2.
- the self-opening sleeve 2 can not rotate initially, but only move axially downwards. It deviates, when the rotary cap 1 is rotated counterclockwise as seen from above, therefore downwards and is thus pushed in the spout 3 axially downwards, while the inclined surfaces 27 slide over the shafts 12 of the nail-shaped formations 9-11 until the Sliding surfaces 28 on the nail shafts 12 find a stop.
- the self-opening sleeve 2 has been pushed so far axially downwards that it now lies with its upper edge 14 below the vertical ribs 18.
- the horizontal ribs 19 could be passed from the upper edge 14 of the self-opening sleeve 2, because the recesses 29 in this edge opposite the horizontal ribs 19.
- the Döffnerhülse 2 have their three piercing and cutting members 5-7 pierced a running under her foil.
- the three lancing and cutting members 5-7 cut counterclockwise each along the hole perimeter the pouring spout 3 a cut in the film, and in total by a rotation angle of about 120 °.
- the threaded cap 1 is further unscrewed on the spout 3 and it moves upward, so finally the cylinder wall segments 26 are above the projections 9-11 and the sliding surfaces 28 of these projections 9-11 and thus the self-opening sleeve 2 do not turn any further.
- the two piercing and cutting members 5 and 6 are arranged at 180 ° apart, they leave a piece of film along the circumference of the spout neck 2 unauf published in a rotation of the self-opener sleeve 2 by about 120 °.
- the foil is folded down in the spout directly around this undamaged piece and continues to hang in the opening without falling into the package.
- FIG. 3 finally shows the closure in an axial section in the assembled state. It can be seen here how the cylinder wall segments 26, which are formed on the bottom of the lid of the threaded cap 1, cooperate with the nail-shaped projections 9-11, of which only one projection 11 is visible here.
- the lid cap 1 is rotated in the release direction from this position, the inclined surface 27 presses on the nail shank 12 of the adjacent Anformung 11.
- the Dowöffnerhülse 2 can not rotate and is therefore inevitably pressed down, the piercing and cutting elements. 5 -7, of which only the piercing and cutting member 7 is visible here, the underlying. Pierce the foil.
- This self-opening closure is characterized by a particularly flat Construction on.
- the nail-shaped, in the radial direction inwardly projecting projections 9,10,11 it is possible to build the self-opening sleeve 2 is particularly easy and low. Nevertheless, it is reliably guided in the axial direction, because the shafts 12 and nail heads 13 of the nail-shaped projections 9,10,11 act as guides when the rotary valve 1 with the downwardly directed cylinder wall segments 26 at these projections 9,10,11 into engagement come.
- the self-opening sleeve 2 can be so low in ratio that the ratio of their height without the lancing and cutting 5-7 to their inner diameter is only 1: 3, or together with the piercing and cutting members 5-7 only 1: 2.
- the total height of the assembled closure including the lid 1, self-opener sleeve 2 and spout 3 is in relation to the inner diameter of the spout 3 only 3: 5.
- a very flat self-opener closure is created, which also because of the filigree design of the self-opener sleeve 2 with little material and correspondingly low weight and still fully functional.

Abstract
Description
This invention relates to a flat self-opener closure for composite packages as well as with foil material to be sealed container neck or bottle neck of all kinds. It is especially thought of liquid packages in the form of such composite packages of foil-coated paper, in which about milk, fruit juices, all kinds of non-alcoholic drinks or general liquids also be packaged from the non-food area. The closure can also be used for composite packages in which bulk goods such as sugar, semolina or all kinds of chemicals and the like are stored or packaged. This film-coated paper is a laminate material, such as a paper or board web coated with plastic such as polyethylene and / or aluminum. Common volumes of such packages range from 20cl up to 2 liters and more. Alternatively, the self-opening closure can also be mounted on containers that are closed by a foil material, for example on all kinds of bottles made of glass or plastic or on similar containers. Such closures made of plastic are known in various designs. They form, when they are intended for a composite package, essentially a spout with radially projecting from its lower edge shoulder, which is a final closing on this spout Flange forms. The nozzle is equipped with an external thread on which a threaded cap can be screwed as a closure. Such a self-opener closure is flanged onto the composite package by sealingly adhering or adhering to the composite package with the underside of its overhanging edge, that is, the underside of its flange. The free passage at the lower end of the nozzle is then closed by the paper and the sealing film of the composite package. In the case of a bottle closure, the spout is in turn plugged or screwed onto a bottle mouth and closed on its inside with a foil membrane. The nozzle is equipped with an external thread on which then the threaded cap can be screwed as a closure.
The film-reinforced paper passing through below the welded or glued neck or the film membrane running inside the neck must be cut open, torn open or pushed away in order to clear the passage and allow the liquid or bulk material to be poured out of the container through the neck , For this purpose, a sleeve is arranged in the interior of the nozzle, which is pressed axially upon rotation of the screwed cap of this and is then rotated by this in the same direction of rotation. The lower edge of the sleeve is equipped with one or more lancing or incisors. As a result, the sleeve is due to their axial downward movement and the following rotation, a disc cut out of the continuous under her foil-reinforced paper or the membrane membrane there.
However, if the self-opening sleeve has only a single combined piercing and cutting member, the sleeve must have a certain length in relation to their diameter, which allows their stable guidance in the spout in the axial direction, so that tilting is reliably avoided. This requires a corresponding height of the self-opener closure. In addition, the self-opening sleeve must be made relatively heavy and solid to accommodate the reaction forces emanating from a single lancing and cutting member. The Erstöffnungsgarantie at such a closure is usually guaranteed by a guarantee ring is formed on a plurality of predetermined breaking points at the bottom of the cap, in which case the guarantee ring is bounced during initial assembly over a bead on the spout nozzle. To open the cap for the first time many individual predetermined breaking points must be broken at the same time, which requires a correspondingly large amount of force.
The basic purpose of this self-opener closure is to achieve a much flatter and lighter design with lower height, the self-opening sleeve still opens the film reliably without jamming. The self-opener closure should also use less plastic material thanks to its low height. In a particular embodiment, this self-opener closure is also intended to provide a tamper evident guarantee that is easier for the operator of the closure to overcome. This first-opening guarantee should also be flatter and lighter at the same time, ie using less plastic material.
This fundamental task is solved by a flat self-opener closure for composite packages as well as for container or bottle neck to be closed with foil material, consisting of a spout nozzle which is sealingly mountable on a composite package or on a container or bottle neck to be sealed with foil material, an associated rotary cap and arranged within the spout nozzle Self-opening sleeve, which is set in rotation by the rotary cap, wherein the self-opening sleeve at its lower edge and projecting therefrom has at least one combined lancing and cutting member, and is characterized in that the Setbstöffner Hütse on its inside to Center of the sleeve extending nail-shaped projections with nail shank and nail head, the nail shank and nail head underside are determined as guides for concentric with the cap rotation axis arranged on the inside of the cap lid Cytinderwandsegmente, each one at the top of the lid verlitzwinklig verl aufende sloping surface and an adjoining perpendicular to the lid surface extending sliding surface form. The special execution of the first-opening guarantee is evident from the dependent claims.

Next, the self-
On the spout-
Thereafter, when the

Because of the guide ribs on the outside of the self-opening
In this case, however, the self-opening

This self-opening closure is characterized by a particularly flat Construction on. By the nail-shaped, in the radial direction inwardly projecting
