It is essential, however, that the front rail sections 9, in contrast to the rear rail sections 8 are not rigidly connected to the case 5, but are arranged on a component 10 which can be pivoted about a pivot axis 11 by means of a hydraulic ram 12. The case 5 is supported on the device 10 from. In order to facilitate the pivoting movement, a sliding surface 13 is provided in the rear part of the component 10. This is connected via not shown in the figure hold-down with the case 5.

Claims (11)

  1. Lifting vehicle having a box (5) which is liftable and lowerable by means of a scissors lifting device (2) and which is provided with an unloading opening at its front end side, rollers (6) being provided at the upper ends of the scissors lifting device (2), which roll in rails (8, 9) connected to the box (5) so as to enable the scissors lifting movement and the displacement of the box (5) in the longitudinal direction of the rails (8, 9), and having drives for the scissors movement and the displacement, characterised in that the box (5) is pivotable in such a way that the front end of the box (5) is pivoted to at least one side.
  2. Lifting vehicle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the front end of the box (5) is pivotable to both sides.
  3. Lifting vehicle according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the rollers (6) are guided with play in the rails (8, 9) and the rails have two longitudinal sections (8, 9), of which the rear ones (8) are rigidly connected to the box (5) and of which the front ones (9) are connected to a component (10) which is pivotable about a vertical pivot axis (11) provided at its front end and connected to the box (5) and on which the box (5) is supported.
  4. Lifting vehicle according to Claim 3, characterised in that the box (5) is supported on the component (10) by a sliding surface (13).
  5. Lifting vehicle according to Claim 4, characterised in that the sliding surface (13) is arranged at the component end remote from the pivot axis (11).
  6. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the pivoting movement is effected by a hydraulic piston/cylinder unit (12).
  7. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the front rail sections (9) are displaceable, with the aid of a chain drive (15) arranged there, in the longitudinal direction on the rollers (6).
  8. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the box (5) is formed as a box body for supplying aircraft with food, drinks, newspapers, articles for sale and the like.
  9. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it is formed as a mounting and transport vehicle for aircraft fittings.
  10. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the box (5) is provided with a transfer bridge (7).
  11. Lifting vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the pivoting range at the front end of the box (5) is between 0 and 100 cm.
