Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting device for a force transducer and a balance with a mounted by means of the mounting device force transducer according to the preamble of claims 1 and 8 respectively.
  • Load cells of balances are often provided with a force transducer, which is connected on the one hand with a serving as a support balance housing and the other with a Waagschalenhovenhov over which the introduction of the force to be measured.
  • Force transducers can be designed in different ways. Structures are widely used with an elastic deformable body as the core, or those with a device for force compensation, usually with a force acting on a lever mechanism counterforce, which is generated by a current-controlled electromagnet.
  • US-A-5756943 discloses a load cell having a plate-shaped deformation body on which a stress sensor is applied.
  • This body is part of a force transducer. It has a recess in the middle and is divided into three parts (power support part, core part, force introduction part). The body is mounted between two further parts, for example two U-shaped profiles with cuts. The other device parts form the parallel guide and are part of the force transducer.
  • a force transducer which is referred to in [2], EP 0 670 479 A1 as a "counterforce” or “force receiver”, is described, which has a deformation body which is fixed to the housing mountable part of the force transducer with which the force introduction or the load receiving serving part connects.
  • a deformation body which is fixed to the housing mountable part of the force transducer with which the force introduction or the load receiving serving part connects.
  • the deformation body and to be connected to the balance housing and the scale carrier connecting parts of the load cell normally has cuts, which serve for the mechanical decoupling of the deformation body on which the through Force effects caused deformations by means of sensors, preferably strain gauges are measured.
  • the deformation body is preferably designed as a measuring parallelogram with limbs guided in the manner of a parallelogram (see, for example, [3], EP 0 511 521 A1).
  • the analog measuring signal formed by means of the strain gauges which are preferably integrated in a bridge circuit, is normally digitized in a converter circuit and subsequently processed further.
  • the construction of a bridge circuit with strain gauges is described for example in [4], U. Tietze, Ch. Schenk, semiconductor circuit technology, 11th edition, 1st reprint, Springer Verlag, Berlin 1999, pages 1242-1243.
  • the measuring cell described in [2] has a memory module in which data associated with the measuring cell are stored, by means of which the measuring signals can be corrected.
  • the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide an improved mounting device for a force transducer and a balance with a force transducer mounted by means of this mounting device.
  • a cost-effective mounting device is to be created, which makes it possible to mount a force transducer provided with sensors in such a way that its measurement behavior is largely linear and therefore only small measurement deviations have to be compensated.
  • the remaining non-idealities remaining after the installation of the force transducer should as far as possible not change over time.
  • a mounting device should be created by means of the load cells with low space requirements are stable mounted in a balance housing.
  • the mounting device in a preferred embodiment should also protect the load cells reliably against overload.
  • the mounting device should also be suitable for mounting modular load cells, which should be interchangeable, without recalibration of the balance is necessary.
  • a force transducer having a force introduction part, a Kraftabspanneil and an intermediate, optionally mechanically by means of incisions against the force introduction part and / or the Kraftabstützungsteil decoupled, provided with at least one sensor core part in the usual way, has a special arrangement of threaded holes for receiving mounting screws for attachment both a load-receiving part on the force introduction part and a fastening part on Kraftabspanneil on.
  • the inventive mounting device for a force transducer in particular of the type mentioned, is characterized by a fastening part having a U-shaped cross-section open against the force transducer and extending from the mounting surface of the Kraftabcommuneils against the force introduction part over the center of the core part and the fastening part Means for fixing the same are present, for example, screws, clamps, snaps or the like.
  • the fastening part has means which make it possible to screw it to a force transducer of the type mentioned above.
  • the load-receiving part which is also referred to as scale carrier in particular for scales, is also designed to be screwed in the manner indicated. This feature is omitted For example, if the load suspension on scales is suspended by means of a hook screwed directly into the force introduction part.
  • the force-supporting part is connected to a fastening part, which in turn can be fixed in a suitable manner, for example in the housing of a balance.
  • the force support member is therefore in most applications of the force transducer a housing fixed mountable part of the force transducer.
  • the force introduction part is connected in the mounting device with a load receiving part; in scales, the load-carrying part is a weighing pan carrier.
  • both the fastening part and the load-receiving part are preferably formed as a U-shaped carrier with laterally protruding webs.
  • the webs give rigidity and, in the case of the fastening part, allow the connection to the outside world and open up the possibility of providing overload protection with a consistently low overall height.
  • the carriers also protect the load cell when handling the module.
  • the forces acting on the weighing platform from the stop and the load are not on an axis, so that after reaching the stop, a force component not limited by the stop will continue to act on the load cell and adversely affect its elastic properties or even damage it under extreme force with unfavorable torques.
  • the webs of load-receiving part and fastening part extend so far against each other that they overlap. In the overlapping area matched stops are mounted, which prevent excessive deflection between the force introduction part and Kraftabconstitutedeil the force transducer under excessive force.
  • Other configurations of the stops on the overlapping webs are readily possible within the scope of the invention.
  • the overload protection can be realized with minimal space requirements. Since the weighing platform or the weighing pan does not interact directly with the overload safety device, there are no restrictions on the design of the balance in this respect.
  • the fastening part and the load receiving part are provided on both sides with a respective stop for both deflection directions.
  • the pan support can be provided on both sides with a side part having a bore through which a respective bolt connected to the fastening part is guided with two nuts. The nuts can therefore be adjusted so that the two side parts each impinge simultaneously on the stopper forming nuts, whereby a lateral rotation of the force transducer and corresponding Hystereseprobleme can be avoided.
  • the weighing pan carrier and the fastening part preferably have a U-shaped cross section open against the force transducer, so that the force transducer is partially surrounded by these parts having an increased rigidity.
  • the mounting device with measuring cells thus held can therefore also be used in small scales to which high demands are made in terms of precision.
  • the ends of the preferably U-shaped fastening part form outwardly bent wing parts, which are provided with holes for the passage of mounting screws, which are connectable to support elements provided in the balance housing, preferably screwed.
  • the fastening part in this embodiment therefore allows on the one hand the stable holding of the force transducer, the realization of a simple but effective overload protection and the connection of the entire measuring device with the balance housing.
  • an additional, for example punched from sheet metal chassis is used to connect the measuring cell with the balance housing, which is manufactured with a corresponding cost and mounted in a correspondingly larger scale housing.
  • the force transducer is therefore preferably connected to the described weighing pan carriers and fastening parts.
  • the use of differently designed scale carriers and mounting hardware is also possible.
  • FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show a force transducer 20 mounted by means of a mounting device according to the invention, which forms a modular force measuring cell 2 together with sensors 28, 29 and a circuit module 24.
  • the force transducer 20 is by means of mounting screws 36 BR , 36 BL , 36 F ; 46 BR , 46 BL , 46 F with a mounting part 3 and a pan support 4 connected.
  • the circuit module 24 connected to the sensors 28, 29 by means of two flexible ribbon-type connections 22 T , 22 B connected to each other separately is held by an angular metal element 23 connected to the force transducer 20 by means of a screw 231 such that a good heat exchange between the circuit module 24 and the force transducer 20 results.
  • force transducers 20 and strain gauges 28 TF , 28 TB , 28 BF , 28 BB are highly sensitive components which are easily destructible by mechanical overloading.
  • an overload protection can be realized in a simple manner by which the deflection of the force transducer 20 can be limited downwards and / or upwards without disturbing moments acting on them.
  • the U-shaped weighing pan carrier 4 as shown in Figure 4, side parts 43, 43 ', each with a bore 44, 44', is guided by a connected to the fastening part 3 bolts 33, 33 '.
  • the fastening part 3 and the weighing pan carrier 4 preferably have a U-shaped cross section open against the force transducer 20, so that the force transducer 20 is partially surrounded by these parts 3, 4 which have an increased rigidity.
  • the mounting device with measuring cells held thereby, including the optionally provided overload protection, can therefore also be used in small scales to which high demands are placed on precision.
  • the support elements 51 are preferably made of an insulating material, so that the measuring cell 2 from the balance housing 5 and other modules provided therein, for example, from the processor module 501, is thermally decoupled.
  • the fastening part 3 in this embodiment therefore allows on the one hand the stable holding of the force transducer 20, the realization of a simple but effective overload protection and the connection of the entire mounting device and load cell with a balance housing 5, which optionally has only a small volume. In addition, a good thermal decoupling of the load cell is achieved.
  • Figure 5 shows the modular load cell 2 of Figure 1 seen from above, with the two connecting lines 22 T , 22 B , by means of which the circuit module 24 with the sensors 28 TF , 28 TB , 28 BF , 28 BB , 29 is connected. Also clearly visible is the arrangement of the mounting screws 46 BR , 46 BL , 46 F and the arrangement of the axes of the bolts 33, 33 'and the Waagschalenabilitykonus 41 in a plane.
  • FIG. 6 shows, in a preferred embodiment, the modular structure of a circuit module 24, which via terminal strips 241, 242 and connecting lines 22 T , 22 T ', 22 B and 500 on the one hand with the strain gauges 28 TF , 28 TB , 28 BF , 28 BB and a temperature sensor 29 and on the other hand connected to a processor module 501, to which a display 502 and an interface module 503 are connected.
  • the processor module 501 is disposed within the scale separate from the circuit module 24 and therefore thermally decoupled from this. The heat loss generated by the processor module 501 therefore remains without influence on the modular force measuring cell 2 according to the invention.
  • the circuit module 24 has two converter circuits 243, 244.
  • the analogue signals output by the strain gages 28 TF , 28 TB , 28 BF , 28 BB are converted by means of the first converter circuit 243, and the analogue signals output by the temperature sensor 29 are converted into divalent pulse width modulated signals pwm1, pwm2 by means of the second converter circuit 244 via the connecting line 500 are transmitted to the processor module 501 and further processed by the latter by means of compensation data, which can be retrieved from a preferably likewise arranged on the circuit module 24 memory module 245.
  • the inventive mounting device can be used independently of the respective configuration of the measuring electronics and the further embodiment of the measuring cell.
  • the mounting device can also be used for mounting non-modular measuring cells and force sensors with different types of sensors in order to achieve a good mechanical decoupling.
