Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a luminaire having a base part and a cover that is detachably connected to the base part and that is trough-shaped and at least transparent in its bottom region according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic luminaire is known, for example, from EP 1 279 889 A1 of the Applicant. Due to the cover which completely closes off the luminaire housing, such a luminaire is particularly suitable for application purposes in which the electronic components must be protected from environmental influences, e.g. in staircases, cellars, wet rooms, garages, halls and the like.
  • the lamp of EP 1 279 889 A1 a consisting of side reflectors and cross blades grid is provided, which is inserted into the transparent cover and rests on the bottom portion. From a lying above the grid lamp through the transparent bottom side of the cover radiated light is then limited by the grid to a predetermined angle range, so that people standing obliquely below the lamp are not dazzled. Due to this measure, the light is also suitable for more demanding lighting purposes, eg. B. in living rooms, offices or the like.
  • the luminaire grid is loosely inserted in the transparent cover, as previously reported.
  • the side reflectors of the grid have outwardly projecting positioning arms, which extend to the side walls of the cover. The length of this positioning is dimensioned such that the grid can be used by means of inclination in the tapered opening of the cover or from this removed.
  • the provided in the known lamp positioning on the luminaire grid ensure that the grid can not slip laterally within the transparent cover, but they provide only an insufficient grip of the Rasters inside the cover.
  • a disadvantage is also that in this embodiment, the grid with the positioning provided thereon must be tailored to the dimensions of the transparent cover. Conventional grids, which are also used in other types of luminaires, however, can not be used in this known embodiment.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide a new way to arrange a grid safely and reliably within the transparent cover of the lamp.
  • the object is achieved by a luminaire having the features of claim 1.
  • the object is also achieved by a grid holder according to the invention according to claim 20.
  • the lamp according to the invention initially consists of a base part which carries at least one socket for at least one lamp, a trough-shaped, at least in its bottom portion transparent cover which is detachably connected to the base part, and a grid, which is inserted into the cover and on the Floor area rests.
  • a grid which is inserted into the cover and on the Floor area rests.
  • Grid holder is provided, which are supported on the one hand on the cover and on the other hand on the grid and thus releasably hold in the cover.
  • the two grid holders hold the grid movably inserted in the cover in a central position within the cover.
  • the use of the two separately formed grid holder according to the invention makes it possible to use standard luminaire grid in the transparent cover and to keep releasably in this. On the one hand, the effort of providing a specially designed or designed lighting grid can thereby be avoided, and on the other hand it is possible to respond flexibly to different dimensions of the transparent cover. Furthermore, with the help of the grid holder a total arrangement consisting of the cover, the Rasterhaltem and the grid can be formed, which can be attached as a common unit to the base part or removed from this again.
  • the grid holder are preferably formed by an angled, flexible component, which has on the one hand at its upper end a support portion for support on the cover and on the other hand at its lower end a foot portion for support on the grid.
  • the support portion of the grid holder can form an angled support surface, which is supported on an inwardly directed projection of the cover. This projection can be formed, for example, by the inner wall of the base part facing the tapered opening of the cover.
  • the grid to be inserted into the cover typically consists of two side reflectors as well as a plurality of lamellae distributed longitudinally between the two side reflectors, the foot region of the grid holders being supported in an end section of the side reflectors.
  • the end portions of the side reflectors may be formed by offsets, in which the foot portions of the grid holder are used.
  • the grid holders can each have an approximately V-shaped opening in their lower regions, into which end regions of the transverse slats protruding beyond the side reflectors for locking the grid holder engage.
  • At the grid holders can then be provided at the upper ends of the openings in each case one extending in the direction of the grid clamping lever which engages with the corresponding side reflector. This clamping lever may in particular have a rounded upper edge, by which the arrangement of the grid holder is facilitated on the grid.
  • the side reflectors of the grid are formed partially transparent, so that light can be emitted via the side regions of the transparent cover.
  • the support sections of the grid holder can then each have an outwardly directed retaining tongue, wherein a laterally arranged next to the grid color filter is provided which is held at its upper end by the retaining tabs of the grid holder and which is inserted with its lower end in the bend of the corresponding side reflector , The laterally emitted light can thereby appear in a different color, whereby visually appealing effects are achieved.
  • the foot areas of the grid holders preferably have raised support ribs on which the color filter rests. This measure facilitates the insertion and removal of the color filters.
  • a retaining spring is provided, which is connected on the one hand to the base part and on the other hand with a grid holder.
  • the grid holder in each have one or more eyelets for anchoring the retaining spring their upper region. If now, for example, a lamp to be replaced, it can simply be removed from the base part consisting of the transparent cover, the grid and the grid holders and suspended with the help of the retaining springs. The lamps are then freely accessible.
  • the grid holder according to the invention may consist of metal. Preferably, however, they consist of a plastic which may be translucent or transparent. This is particularly important if the side surfaces of the transparent cover also light - possibly in a particular color - to be delivered.
  • the transparent design of the grid holder then ensures that they do not affect the light output or only slightly. As a further measure by which the grid holder for an observer can not be seen, it may be provided to round off the edges of the grid holder.
  • the main parts of the designated in Fig. 1 in their entirety 1 luminaire are a base-shaped base part 2, which is provided for attachment to a ceiling of a room to be illuminated, and a trough-shaped cover 5, which faces away from the mounting side by means not shown fastening means Side of the base part 2 with this releasably connectable.
  • the preferably elongated lamp 1 has a substantially rectangular or square cross-sectional shape, wherein it has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped even taking into account their perpendicular to the longitudinal axis extending end faces.
  • the preferably planar side walls 5d and possibly also the likewise preferably flat end walls of the cover 5 may also extend slightly convergent in the direction of the base part 2.
  • corresponding sockets for holding and supplying power to at least one elongate light source are arranged on the base part 2.
  • the light emitted by the light source is intended to be emitted primarily via the transparently configured base side 5a of the cover 5.
  • a small portion of the light is also emitted via the side walls 5d of the cover 5.
  • the cover 5 is preferably made of a transparent plastic, such as PMMA or PC.
  • the light emitted via the bottom side 5a of the cover 5 should be radiated only at certain angular ranges in order to avoid dazzling effects for persons standing diagonally below the luminaire 1.
  • a luminaire grid is arranged within the cover 5. The arrangement takes place with the aid of a plurality of grid holders according to the invention which hold the grid securely and reliably in a central position within the cover 5.
  • FIGS. 2a to 2c A first variant of an inventive grid holder is shown in FIGS. 2a to 2c and will now be explained.
  • the grid holder 20 is formed by an angled, flexible component which essentially has an upper region 21 and a lower region 22 which enclose an obtuse angle of approximately 120 ° with one another.
  • the grid holder 20 should be supported on the one hand on the inside of the transparent cover and on the other hand on the grid and hold the grid in the cover by a corresponding clamping effect.
  • the upper portion 21 of the grid holder 20 has a support portion 23 in the form of an angled support, which is provided for abutment against an inwardly directed projection of the cover. At this support portion 23 further includes a downwardly directed retaining tongue 25 whose function will be explained later in detail.
  • two eyelets 26 are further arranged, which are provided for anchoring a retaining spring.
  • the lower portion 22 of the grid holder 20 is bounded by an angled foot portion 24 which is to be supported on the outside of the luminaire grid to be held.
  • an approximately V-shaped opening 28 is also provided in the lower region, into which - as will be explained later - parts of the luminaire grid engage, whereby a locking in the longitudinal direction is achieved.
  • a clamping lever 29 is also provided, which locks with the light grid or the corresponding side reflector. From the V-shaped opening 28 extending in the opposite direction to the clamping lever 29 guide walls 28a, which also contribute to the secure holding of the latch holder 20 on the grid.
  • Special features of the first embodiment of the grid holder 20 according to the invention are on the one hand by the foot region 24 projecting support ribs 27, which - as will be explained in connection with FIG. 3 - facilitate the assembly and disassembly of a side color filter.
  • Another special feature of the grid holder 20 shown in FIGS. 2a to 2c is further that its edges are rounded. This is particularly important if the grid holder 20 is transparent and should not affect a lateral light output of the lamp. The rounded edges contribute in this case to the fact that the grid holder 20 is very difficult to see for a viewer of the lamp.
  • the grid holder 20 is preferably made of a translucent or transparent plastic and can be produced, for example, by injection molding. The operation of the grid holder 20 in connection with the arrangement of a luminaire grid within the transparent cover will now be explained with reference to FIG. 3.
  • Fig. 3 shows the luminaire 1 according to the invention in cross section. It can be seen that within the transparent cover 5 there is a luminaire grid 10 provided with the reference numeral 10, which consists of two side reflectors 11 and a plurality of transverse laminations 15 connecting the two side reflectors 11.
  • the arrangement of the grid 10 within the transparent cover 5 takes place with the aid of the grid holders 20 according to the invention and arranged on both sides of the light grid 10.
  • the upper support sections 23 of the grid holders 20 are supported on an inwardly projecting projection 5b the transparent cover, passing through the lower edge of the tapered opening 5c of the cover 5 is formed.
  • the support portions 23 opposite foot portions 24 of the grid holder 20, however, are inserted into end portions 12 in the form of offsets of the two side reflectors 11 of the grid 10. Since the grid holder 20 have a certain flexibility or bias, through them the grid 10 is pressed from both sides to the center of the transparent cover 5, so that a centered arrangement of the grid 10 is ensured.
  • the support by means of the upper support portion 23 and with the help of the lower foot portions 24 also ensures a certain locking of the grid 10 in the vertical direction, so that the grid 10 is held securely in total in the transparent cover 5.
  • a secure arrangement of the grid holder 20 on the grid 10 is ensured by the fact that end portions 16 of the transverse slats 15, which project beyond the two side reflectors 11, engage in the V-shaped openings in the lower areas of the grid holder 20.
  • the clamping lever 29 of each grid holder 20 engages in the corresponding transverse slat 15 of the luminaire grid 10, so that overall a reliable locking between the grid 10 and the grid holder 20 is achieved.
  • the side reflectors 11 of the grid 10 are formed partially transparent, so that a part of the light emitted by the light sources can also be discharged via the two side walls 5d of the cover 5.
  • this laterally emitted light a different hue, which is achieved by the use of an elongated plate-shaped color filter 50, which is arranged laterally next to the grid 10.
  • a corresponding color filter 50 is shown.
  • the holder of the color filter 50 on the one hand, characterized in that the retaining tabs 25 overlap the upper edge of the color filter 50, and on the other hand in that the color filter 50 is inserted with its lower end in the bend 12 of the side reflectors 11 of the grid 10.
  • the color filter 50 lies with its lower edge on the support ribs 27 of the grid holder 20. This measure contributes to the fact that the color filter 50 can be used in a simple manner in the position shown or can be swung out laterally for removal. If the support ribs 27 were not present, pivoting of the color filter 50 would be more difficult due to the raised outer edge of the bend 12 of the luminaire grid.
  • the unit consisting of the transparent cover 5, the luminaire grid 10, the grid holders 20 and optionally the color filters 50 can be attached to the base part 2 of the luminaire as a preassembled structural unit or removed again as a structural unit.
  • the base part 2 itself, however, carries the electronic components and connections 3 for the light sources and corresponding lampholders 4 for holding two elongated gas discharge lamps.
  • a lamp change - a plurality of retaining springs 51 are provided, which are arranged on the one hand to the base part 2 and on the other hand to the grid holders 20, more specifically hooked into the corresponding eyelets 26. With the help of these retaining springs 51, the previously mentioned assembly can now be removed and suspended from the base part 2, wherein then there is free access to the lamps.
  • the cover 5 with the components arranged therein does not have to be completely removed from the lamp 1 and stored, whereby a maintenance of the lamp 1 is much easier.
  • FIGS. 2a to 2c show a second variant of an inventive grid holder 30, which also consists of plastic and corresponds in many parts to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2a to 2c.
  • this grid holder 30 has an upper portion 31 with a support portion 33, a retaining tongue 35 and retaining eyelets 36 and a lower portion 32 with a foot portion 34, a V-shaped opening 38 and a clamping lever 39.
  • FIGS. 5a and 5b A third embodiment of an inventive grid holder 40 is finally shown in FIGS. 5a and 5b.
  • the grid holder 40 consists of a sheet metal part, which is punched out and bent to the corresponding shape. The production of this screen holder 40 is therefore very simple.
  • this grid holder 40 consists of an upper portion 41 with a support portion 43 and a retaining tab 45 for a color filter and a lower portion 42 with a foot portion 44, a V-shaped Opening 48 and a clamping lever 49.
  • the essential components for secure mounting of the grid in the cover are thus also present in this third variant of the grid holder 40.
  • a luminaire is thus provided by the present invention, in which a conventional luminaire grid is securely and reliably held within a transparent cover.
  • Advantages of the lamp according to the invention are that it is easy to assemble and maintain. Furthermore, by the possibility of arranging side color filters interesting lighting effects can be achieved.
