  • a hook 474 is formed in an end of one arm 472 for attachment to the support arm 462. The other arm rests against the inner wall of the bracket 460.
  • the friction spacer 470 includes a cylindrical member 476 having an outer helical flange 478.
  • the flange 478 has a thickness greater than the spacing between the coils of the spring, when the spring is in a resting position.
  • the friction spacer 470 is mounted between the coils of the coil spring 446, so that the flange 478 extends into the helical space between each coil of the spring 446, as shown at 480.
  • the friction spacer is cut radially as shown at 482, so that it can be compressed together for ease of insertion into the coils of the spring 446. Once in position, the friction spacer 470 is allowed to expand so that the helical flange 478 fills the spacing 480 between the coils of the spring 446.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble pédale à commande électronique équipé d'un dispositif d'hystérésis. Cet ensemble pédale comprend un logement pourvu d'une paroi avant ainsi que d'une paroi de frottement arquée qui présente un rayon de courbure dont le centre correspond à un point de pivotement de bras de pédale et qui s'étend à partir d'un bord de ladite paroi avant. L'ensemble pédale comporte également un bras de pédale qui est supporté de manière rotative au niveau dudit point de pivotement de bras de pédale par un moyen de montage relié de manière fonctionnelle audit logement, ainsi qu'un moyen de génération d'hystérésis qui est monté de manière pivotante sur le bras de pédale. L'ensemble pédale selon l'invention comprend en outre un ressort qui est disposé entre le logement et le moyen de génération d'hystérésis, de façon à solliciter le moyen de génération d'hystérésis vers le logement, de sorte que l'enfoncement du bras de pédale compresse ce ressort et génère simultanément une force d'hystérésis de frottement croissante entre la paroi de frottement arquée et le moyen de génération d'hystérésis qui subit une translation arrière par l'intermédiaire du bras de pédale, et de manière que le relâchement du bras de pédale réduise ladite force d'hystérésis de frottement.
