Definitions
- the invention relates to a tablecloth, which is suitable for once covering the table top of a table.
- tablecloths depend laterally from the table top down so that the size of the tablecloth is greater than the plate size of the table top.
- Tablecloths of the type mentioned above which are used in particular for one-off covering of beer tables, are known. So there are appropriate tablecloths, which are demolished from a paper roller conveyor in the appropriate length. The axial length of the paper roll corresponds to the width of the tablecloth. Usually, the edges of the tablecloth are glued to the underside of the table top. Since the material of the tablecloth is very thin and easily tears, the table cover looks very unsightly after just a few hours.
- the short life of the tablecloth is reinforced by the fact that it is not moisture or water repellent; By spilling liquids, such as beer, wine and the like, the tablecloth thoroughly moistens, so that - apart from the optical impairment that occurs as a result - it sticks to the tabletop and completely loses its tensile strength.
- Another type of tablecloth which is also intended in particular for covering beer tables, consists of a cloth material.
- a correspondingly large cloth web is sewn together to form a cap, so that the cloth web can be slipped over the table top of a beer table or in a comparable manner over a Biertisch bench like a cap from above.
- Such a tablecloth - and in the same way Biertischbankdecke - has due to their cloth material and their exact “disguise" the corresponding plate of a table or a bank a very pleasing appearance.
- the costs they incur are much higher than those incurred when using a paper tablecloth.
- 179 is a fabric tablecloth is known, the edge areas senenkess hang down on the sides of the table and the corner areas are attached by means of, for example, snaps, zippers or straps. The attachment takes place at the respective edge regions of the tablecloth.
- the present invention seeks to provide a tablecloth, which makes it possible to cover the table tops of beer tables or beer benches as economically as possible and visually pleasing way, so that the tablecloth for single use economically can be used meaningfully. It should require the laying of the tablecloth on a corresponding plate as little effort.
- the tablecloth according to the invention can be placed in a flash on a corresponding table top and folded into a cap due to the present in her weakening lines, which are adapted to the size and shape of a table top.
- the folds of a particularly inner fold that respectively form in the corners of the tablecloth can be flattened so that a visually closed, sufficiently strong cap-like tablecloth shape can be formed.
- Such tablecloths once have the advantage that they can practically not be blown away from the table by a gust of wind so that they can be used well outdoors. In this case, the visual appearance of such a covered table or even such a covered bank, as they are present for example in a beer table combination proves to be extremely elegant.
- the flat abutted tablecloth areas of a respective fold region can for example be stapled together, glued together, sewn together or be connected to other easily manufacturable, possibly releasable manner.
- the bond can be produced for example by means of a double-sided adhesive tape.
- a push-button device can also be provided in the folding area of the tablecloth, so that the tablecloth areas in question can also be fastened tightly to one another by techniques known per se.
- This fastening technique is designed in the region of an inner fold so that the relevant inner fold area is visually barely visible from the outside.
- the edge areas of the tablecloth hanging down on the table top and laterally covering the table top then run like a ribbon around the table top like a ribbon.
- a second type of weakening lines are present, in their bendable edge region. At least two weakening lines of this second type of weakening lines are present in each case in a corner region of the tablecloth, where they laterally delimit the folded or folded region formed there on a table top.
- Such a second weakening line may be aligned with a first weakening line, but it may also include an angle not equal to 90 degrees with the first weakening line adjacent to it.
- the size of the angle depends on how large the corner angle of a table top and whether the side of the table top bent down edge portions of the table cover to the plane lying on the table top portion of the table top should have an angle of 90 degrees or a different angle. At such an angle At less than 90 degrees, the free edges of the edge areas of the tablecloth enclose an interior that is smaller in plan than the floor plan size of the table top.
- Such a downwardly tapered tablecloth cap prevents even more effective than it is the case with a non-tapered cap that the resting on a corresponding table tablecloth can be lifted by example, a gust of wind from the table and blown away.
- a fold area provided in the corner area of the table cloth according to the invention can also be easily produced by providing a third type of weakening lines in the corresponding fold area.
- the folding, in particular an inner fold can then be easily and quickly produced completely by a folding process, which is particularly easy and, moreover, to accomplish precisely because all the required folds are already predetermined by the existing weakening lines.
- the first and second weakening lines are provided at least in sections as creasing lines and / or as perforation lines; the third weakening lines may also be present as cut lines.
- the material used for the tablecloth is paper or a paper-containing material, in particular one with a high cellulose content.
- a paper-containing material in particular one with a high cellulose content.
- This paper material is sufficiently washable and water resistant for the intended use. It looks good, is sufficiently tear-resistant, it can be disposed of in particular environmentally friendly and is overall relatively inexpensive.
- the tablecloth can be transported individually or rolled up several times to save space and space.
- Rolled on a roll several tablecloths can be integrally connected to each other via lines of weakness, in particular perforation lines.
- FIG. 1 An in Fig. 1 only with his feet 12 illustrated table 10 has a rectangular in plan - dashed lines indicated - table top 14.
- table top 14 On the table top 14 is from above a tablecloth 16 on. With edge regions 18, 20, the table cloth 16 overlaps the table top 14, so that with these edge regions 18, 20 the lateral outer surfaces 22 of the table top 14 (FIG. Fig. 7 ) from the outside.
- the tablecloth 14 sits like a cap from above on the table top 14. The preparation of this cap shape will be described in more detail below.
- tablecloth 16.2 differs from the tablecloth 16 in that it sits in a cap-shaped on a floor plan in accordance hexagonal table top 14.2 of a table 10.2. Both in the tablecloth 16 and the table cloth 16.2 are the edge regions 18,20 and 18.2 perpendicular (angle 26) on the enclosed by them, inner ceiling area 24 and 24.2 of the two table cloths 16 and 16.2.
- Fig. 3 illustrated tablecloth 16.3 corresponds to in Fig. 1 shown tablecloth 16, with the difference that their edge areas 18.3, 20.3 include an angle 26.3 with each other, which is slightly smaller than 90 degrees.
- tablecloth 16.4 differs from the tablecloth 16.2 also in that their edge areas 18.4 include an angle 26.3 with the inner region 24.2 of the tablecloth 16.4, which is also smaller than 90 degrees.
- Fig. 5 is the in Fig. 1 illustrated table cloth 16 shown in its planar shape. Its inner region 24 is framed by two parallel, a mutual distance 28 having weakening lines 30 in the longitudinal direction and by two more parallel aligned, a distance 34 having weakening lines 36.
- the four lines of weakness 30, 36 frame the inner ceiling area 24, which corresponds in shape and size of the base of the table top 14.
- the four corner regions 40 of the tablecloth 16 are separated from the edge regions 20 and 18 by a respective weakening line 36. 1 and a weakening line 30.
- a respective weakening line 36. 1 In the present example case, in which the height or width 42 of the edge regions 18, 20 is identical, the base area of a square results for the corner regions 40.
- Each corner region 40 is severed diagonally in the present example by a further weakening line 44, wherein the line of weakness 44 between the outer corner point 46 and the intersection point 48 in which the two lines of weakness 30.1 and 36.1 intersect, runs.
- Table cover 16 may be about a perforated lines 49, which are preferably parallel to its narrow side, to be rolled up several to one another in one piece. It can then be torn off the respective table cloth 16 from the roll along a perforation line 49, so that then the in Fig. 5 solid lined tablecloth 16 is present.
- the tablecloth 16 is placed with its inner portion 24 on the table top 14 of the table 10.
- the two opposite edge regions 20 are folded downwards from the inner ceiling region 24.
- the mutually opposite edge regions 18 are folded down along the other weakening lines 36 which are perpendicular to the lines of weakness 30.
- the corner region 40 is folded to form an inner fold region 50 (FIG. Fig. 6 ), by the weakening line 44 is pressed inwards and so in the region of the weakening line 44, an inner fold is made.
- the two respective lines of weakness 40.1, 36.1 defining the corner region 40 each form the edge of an outer fold. This condition is in Fig. 6 shown.
- the inner fold region 50 is flattened, at least in the region of the two weakening lines 30.1, 36.1.
- This condition is in Fig. 7 shown.
- the two edge regions 18, 20 then abut against each other in the region of the weakening lines 30.1, 36.1.
- the two divided by the lines of weakness 44 portions 52, 54 are secured together, at least so that the two lines of weakness 30.1, 36.1 parallel and close to each other.
- This connection may be terminated by a tacker connection 56 (FIG. Fig. 11 ) or by an adhesive bond 58 or otherwise.
- the adhesive bond can be effected for example by means of a double-sided adhesive tape, which in the illustration according to Fig. 6 on the one 54 of the two sections 52, 54 already pre-assembled exists.
- cap-shaped tablecloth 16 is then slipped over the top of the table 14 of the standing table 10 ( Fig. 1 . 7 ).
- Fig. 2 shown table cloth 16.2 made and placed on the table 10.2. Instead of the four corners of the table cloth 16 16.2 six corners are present in the tablecloth.
- Fig. 8 is a corner of the tablecloth 16.2 ( Fig. 2 ). Due to the hexagonal shape of the inner ceiling area 24.2 close the inner Ceiling area 24.2 framing, due to the regular hexagonal shape of the inner ceiling area 24.2 equally long lines of weakness 30.2 and 36.2 an angle 60 of 60 degrees each with each other. At the point of intersection 48.2 of the two lines of weakness 30.2, 36.2, the lines of weakness 30.8 and 36.8 bordering the two edge regions 18.2 are included. Between these two lines of weakness 30.8, 36.8, which in turn separate one of the six corner regions 40.2 from the edge regions 18.2, lies the diagonal weakening line 44.2.
- the manufacture of the cap-shaped shape of the tablecloth 16.2 takes place in comparable to the tablecloth 16 form.
- an inner fold region is produced by forming an inner fold in the region of the central weakening line 44.2 and an outer fold in the region of the two weakening lines 30.8 and 36.8.
- the folding then corresponds in principle to the representation of Fig. 6 , Subsequently, the two subregions 52.2 and 54.2 of the corner region 40.2 are fastened to one another, as already described in the inner fold region 50.
- Tablecloth 16.3 shown in detail corresponds to the tablecloth 16, with the difference that each of its four corner areas 40.3 is larger than a comparable corner area 40 of the tablecloth 16.
- This enlargement is produced by the two lines of weakness 36.3 and 30.3 delimiting the corner area 40.3 Intersect point 48, not aligned with the line of weakness 36 or 30, but with each include an angle 66 which is smaller than 90 degrees.
- table cloth 16.4 is also the aforementioned taper of their cap shape in the resting on the table 10.2 state available. This is in turn due to the lateral enlargement of the both sub-areas 52.4 and 54.4 happen, as well as the corner area 40.3 ( Fig. 9 ) is the case in a comparable way.
- Tablecloth 16.5 shown in detail corresponds to in Fig. 5 shown table cloth 16 with the difference that in its one corner area 40.5 - and the same applies to its other three corner areas - instead of the diagonal line of weakness 44, a cutting line 44.5 is present.
- This means that the tablecloth is cut diagonally in the area of this weakening line designed as a cut line.
- the two right-angled triangular faces adjoining on the section line 44.5 on both sides, for which the section line 44.5 respectively represents the hypotenuse, can more or less overlap in the region of the common cutting line 44.5; in the present example case ( Fig. 13 ) is in the launched condition of the tablecloth 16.5 on a table or bench in the area of the section line 44.5 a gap exists.
- the tablecloths according to the invention by virtue of their relatively stiff, cap-shaped form, provide a visually appealing, quickly mounted tablecloth, as can be used optimally for beer table combinations and comparable tables as disposable tablecloths in the event sector.
- the use of paper-based material allows easy recycling of such tablecloths.
