Definitions
- the invention relates to a universal ear canal insert for a hearing aid. Furthermore, the invention relates to a Hearing aid unit with the universal auditory canal insert and a hearing aid device portable in the ear, or an adapter piece.
- From DE 199 08 854 C1 is an ear canal insert for hearing aids known, consisting of one of a sound channel interspersed elastic body, in the way of the sound channel has a Cerumenschutz and on to the auditory canal directed part of the sound channel can be placed. It exists the body is made of one core and one core at least partially comprehensive coat, being between the core and the Part consists of a latchable connection and wherein in the Body of cerumen protection is integrated.
- a disadvantage of the known ear canal insert is that this for holding and fixing a hearing aid tight on the tissue surrounding the ear canal. This will be phenomena known as "occlusion effect" (feeling of pressure in the Ear, alienation of one's own voice).
- the object of the present invention is an ear canal insert specify that is universally applicable and nevertheless offers a high wearing comfort. It is also a task of the present invention, a universal and comfortable Hearing aid unit to be worn with a universal Auditory canal insert and a hearing aid.
- the task concerning the use of auditory canal is solved through a universal soft-elastic ear canal insert for a hearing aid with a worn in the ear canal projecting into the ear canal, not the auditory canal sealing, at least substantially cylindrical first section with a diameter in the range of 4 mm to 7 mm, and with an adjoining, in one area the auditory canal entrance, but outside the actual Ear canal closely fitting, at least substantially funnel-shaped or cup-shaped second portion.
- a hearing aid unit with a universal Ear canal insert and a universal, in the ear portable hearing aid wherein the hearing aid at least partially inserted into the ear canal insert.
- a hearing aid unit with a universal ear canal insert and an adapter piece for receiving a sound tube one behind the ear portable hearing aid wherein the adapter piece at least partially inserted into the ear canal insert.
- the auditory canal insert Due to the special design of the auditory canal insert according to the invention this is in its cylindrical first part not close to the ear canal surrounding tissue. In particular, no pressure on the of Bony or cartilaginous tissue surrounded part area the auditory canal is exerted, the occlusion effect is opposite conventional hearing aids or earmolds strong reduced. Furthermore, by the most punctual and non-pressurized edition of this first portion of the tissue Skin irritation in the ear canal largely avoided.
- the actual sealing of the ear canal takes place at the Ear canal insert according to the invention, although also as in known auditory canal insertions in the area of the auditory canal entrance, but already outside the actual ear canal in the transition region to the outer ear, which is opposite to the usual Diameter of an ear canal, which is between 5 and 7 mm is already greatly expanded. In this area is the ear is relatively insensitive to pressure.
