Claims (16)
- Schaltkammer für einen Leistungsschalter mit einer eine Schalterachse umgebenden Wand, wobei diese Wand in einem Isolationsbereich aus einem nicht leitenden Material gefertigt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wand im Isolationsbereich mindestens eine Ausnehmung (4) aufweist, dergestalt, dass jede Projektion der Schalterachse (5) auf die Wand zumindest eine solche Ausnehmung (4) schneidet. - Schaltkammer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie zumindest im Isolationsbereich eine zylindrische Form hat.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wand im Isolationsbereich mindestens zwei, vorzugsweise zwischen drei und zwölf solcher Ausnehmungen (4) aufweist.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wand zwischen fünf und acht solcher Ausnehmungen (4) aufweist.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausnehmung (4) ein Verhältnis von Länge zu Breite von zwischen 4:1 und 30:1, vorzugsweise zwischen 9:1 und 20:1 hat.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausnehmung (4) einen Schlitz mit zwei einander parallel gegenüber liegenden Rändern bildet.

- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei oder mehrere solcher Ausnehmungen (4) als Schlitze mit zur Schaltachse senkrechter Orientierung vorgesehen sind.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Isolationsbereich eine Länge von zwischen 100 mm und 250 mm hat.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausnehmung (4) eine größte Ausdehnung von zwischen 50 mm und 300 mm hat.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie zumindest im Isolationsbereich einen Durchmesser von zwischen 150 mm und 300 mm hat.
- Schaltkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie im Isolationsbereich aus Gießharz oder einem faserverstärkten Gießharz gefertigt ist.
- Leistungsschalter enthaltend eine Schalkammer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13.
- Leistungsschalter nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er ein Gas als Löschmittel enthält.
- Leistungsschalter nach einem der Ansprüche 14 oder 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an einem Ende der Löschkammer ein Ring- oder Tulpenkontakt angeordnet ist und vorzugsweise ein zusätzlicher oder in jenen integrierter zentraler Lichtbogenkontakt.
