  • The invention relates to a container treatment machine referred to in the preamble of claim 1 or 3 Art.
  • Container treatment machines are z. As filling machines, capping machines, rinsers and the like. At higher power, they are designed in a rotating design, with the treatment stations receiving the containers on the circumference of a s.g. Carousels are arranged and circumferentially take the containers during treatment.
  • In the high demands on the quality of the drinks to be bottled and their durability, a generic construction offers, in which the treatment stations are in a closed with special atmosphere actable space. This space can be used with inert atmosphere, eg. As CO 2 , are applied with sterilizing atmosphere or H 2 O 2 , thereby ensuring a low-oxygen and low-germ treatment of the drinks, which is of primary importance for their filling quality - especially in the preferred by many users cold filling.   • DE-PS 696 569 shows such a construction in which a filling machine is arranged in a closed housing. The space thus formed is determined by the overall size of the machine and is of considerable volume. DE 199 11 517 A1 shows a rotating filling machine, which is arranged overall in a tightly enclosing housing on all sides, which is determined by the size of the machine and therefore also of considerable volume. DE 198 35 369 C1 shows an embodiment in which container treatment machines, with their treatment stations arranged at the bottom, protrude from above into a space with a special atmosphere. This space is designed walkable below the machine.
  • Another solution is disclosed in DE 197 31 796. In this technical embodiment, filling and closing machine are arranged in a clean room, whose volume is so tight that only the required for maintenance work on filling and closing machine workspace is available. By reducing the clean room volume, a reduction in the operating costs of the system should be achieved. In addition, a dipping bath sterilizer is arranged directly on the clean room. By this measure, in comparison to EP 0120 789, the second rinser and its associated Saving and acquisition costs are saved. Overall, this solution has the disadvantage that even here a clean room is provided which encloses both filling and closing machine as a whole, which requires a large amount of space and high construction and operating costs. The aim in this technical teaching, as far as possible reduction of the volume of the clean room brings due to the limited accessibility significant disadvantages in the work to be carried out with it.
  • Also known was a device according to EP 0 405 402 A. In this device, the clean room area was essentially limited to the container to be filled, although this is completely within this clean room area. In addition to this container are also the receptacle for the container or its mouth and a ground support within this clean room.
    The clean room is formed by rotating with the axis of rotation wall and ceiling elements, which form a C-shaped space.
    In such an embodiment, it is of particular disadvantage that a plurality of components is disposed within the clean room, which can also form numerous starting points for contamination or contamination due to the unfavorable structures of the surfaces of these components.
  • A disadvantage of the constructions according to the prior art is consequently the considerable volume of the space subjected to a special atmosphere. In case of malfunction this room must be opened. He is then filled with normal ambient air and germinated accordingly. The subsequent cleaning of the room before re-operation is essentially determined by its surfaces and the total volume. In the known large rooms also cause minor operational disturbances or required changeover usually long-lasting production interruptions, since each opening of the room acted upon with special atmosphere inevitably pulls, usually several hours of cleaning by itself.
  • It is finally known from DE 101 45 803 A1 and DE 297 13 155 U1 that the enclosed space is designed as a ring tunnel surrounding the filling machine carousel, which on the one hand and the stationary surfaces on the other hand surround the closed surfaces of the carousel and the ring bowl is, with the forming the tunnel carousel and stationary surfaces on concentric seals on or seal each other. These known embodiments already reduce the required clean room considerably.
  • Another improvement is another application of the applicant with the file number DE 103 26 618.6 or DE EP 1 486 454 A.
  • In the context of this application, ways are shown to further restrict the treatment room.
    A treatment machine corresponding to DE 103 26 618.6 has a clean room which consists of a space part rotating with the filling machine and a fixed, non-circulating room part, wherein only the mouth areas of the beverage containers are received in the clean room.
  • It takes a, rotating with the revolving carousel boundary wall of the clean room recordings and / or supports and centerings for the mouth areas or their parts such as neck rings u. Like. The beverage container on.
  • These recordings, supports and / or centering are arranged in the lower, approximately horizontally formed, rotating boundary wall of the clean room.
  • As it is increasingly demanded today by the beverage bottling companies, with a container treatment machine treating different container sizes, e.g. To be able to fill, it is necessary in a device according to DE 103 26 618, the recordings and / or supports to be designed so that they are adapted to the largest occurring diameter of the container neck.
  • By doing so, in the treatment of containers with smaller container neck diameters comparatively large openings through which the special atmosphere can escape, resulting in undesirably high costs.
  • Based on this problem, the present invention seeks to improve the recordings and / or supports to reduce the operating costs of a device according to the invention.
    For this purpose, the present invention provides to perform the receptacles for the container mouth interchangeable.
  • In a further independent development of the invention, it is provided that the receptacles are not exchangeable and that they can be adapted to different container dimensions by exchangeable inserts.

  • The annular channel 5 is acted upon by at least one Zuluftdüse 7 with the customer preferred special atmosphere, which is under pressure.
  • The special atmosphere may be e.g. to deal with sterile air, CO2 or another suitable gas or gas mixture. Since the special atmosphere continuously emerges from the at least one supply air nozzle 7, any penetration of germs and / or other dirt particles into the annular channel 5 is reliably avoided.
  • In order to maintain as constant as possible and everywhere effective low pressure in the clean room, it has proven to be particularly advantageous to arrange several Zuluftdüsen 7 evenly on at least one of the vertical peripheral surfaces of the annular channel 5.
  • In order to keep the consumption of special atmosphere and the associated costs as low as possible, the connection between the rotating part and stationary part of the annular channel 5 consists only of an annular gap 8 and between the containers 11 and the guide plate 10 resulting contact surface 9 or the gaps in it. These connection points are designed such that they oppose the escaping special atmosphere as large a flow resistance. In addition, these joints can be equipped with additional seals.
  • Other openings through which special atmosphere can escape represent the pivotable receptacles 12 for the containers, which, as already shown above, are adapted in devices according to the prior art, to the largest diameter of the container neck of the container to be treated.
  • In the context of the present application, it is provided to make these pivotable receptacles 12 interchangeable, so that the consumption of special atmosphere is significantly reduced during the operation of a corresponding vessel treatment machine, due to the reduced by this measure opening and gap areas.
  • In order to realize the interchangeability of the receptacles 12, all known in the art releasable connection techniques or types of connection are applicable, without thereby leaving the disclosed by the present application path of the technical teaching.
  • Thus, the receptacles 12 may be e.g. by screwing, pinning, plug or press connections or clamps and by any combination of these methods are attached. It is also the application of stop and / or centering elements such. Bolts, cone elements, inclined surfaces for positioning or similar provided and very beneficial.
  • In a further, independent development of the present invention, it is provided that the receptacles 12 are fixed so that they can not be interchangeably arranged on the vessel treatment machines. These receptacles 12, which are firmly arranged on the vessel treatment machines, are adapted in their geometric shape to the largest occurring container neck diameter. The adaptation of the receptacles 12 to different container neck diameter is carried out by different, different in their dimensions inserts, which are guided by separate, provided on the fixed receptacles 12 guides and / or centerings and / or positioned, the inserts through these guides or centers , or by other means, can also be fixed.
  • If the receptacles 12 are not pivotable, it is not possible for the user in the event of a fault to remove a container from the annular channel 5 at any position of one revolution of the carousel 1. A corresponding removal position is for such a configuration e.g. provided in the area of the container outlet from the carousel 1. The advantage of such a procedure lies in the reduced production costs of such a device.
  • Further advantages result from the fact that the receptacles 12 are adapted not only to the changing diameter of the container necks, but also in that they are adapted to the different configurations of the container heads. So it is e.g. in the treatment of plastic bottles, which generally have a so-called neck ring, extremely advantageous to perform the receptacle 12 so that the neck ring is at least partially enclosed and guided by the receptacle 12 at its top and bottom.
  • In the treatment of glass bottles, which generally have no neck ring and are thus transported and / or lifted by a differently realizable ground support, it is of great benefit, the receptacle 12 to the geometric shape of the lower edge of the closure region of the container to be treated adapt.
  • In the event that different containers, e.g. those with 1, 1.5 or 2 liters content, have identical or at least comparable dimensions in their mouth areas, it is of great advantage to process these containers with only one receptacle 12 or with only one use.
  • In both cases, the advantages are both in reducing the consumption of special atmosphere, as well as in the improved management of the container.

Claims (7)

  1. Container processing machine for containers such as bottles and the like, the said container processing machine having a carousel that rotates about a vertical axis, processing stations that are disposed at intervals for the processing of the containers, wherein the processing stations are disposed in an area (5) that is substantially closed off and is impinged upon with a special atmosphere, the said area comprising area parts that rotate and area parts that do not rotate and that are stationary relative to the said area parts that do rotate, the said container processing machine also including accommodating means (12) associated with each processing station for the accommodating of the containers, characterised in that, for the removal of a container, the said accommodating means (12) are interchangeable and are pivotable out of the area (5) at any arbitrary position in a rotation.
  2. Container processing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that each accommodating means (12) is adapted in a geometrical manner to one type of container and/or a group of different types of containers.
  3. Container processing machine for containers such as bottles and the like, the said container processing machine having a carousel that rotates about a vertical axis, processing stations that are disposed at intervals for the processing of the containers, wherein the processing stations are disposed in an area (5) that is substantially closed off and is impinged upon with a special atmosphere, the said area comprising area parts that rotate and area parts that do not rotate and that are stationary relative to the said area parts that do rotate, the said container processing machine also including accommodating means (12) associated with each processing station for the accommodating of the containers, characterised in that, for the removal of a container, the accommodating means (12) are pivotable out of the area (5) at any arbitrary position in a rotation of the carousel and are not interchangeable but are adaptable by means of exchangeable inserts to one type of container and/or a group of different types of containers.
  4. Container processing machine according to claim (3), characterised in that the non interchangeable accommodating means (12) are adapted in a geometrical manner to the type of container with the largest occurring container neck diameter and/or container head diameter.
  5. Container processing machine according to one of preceding claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a device for the accommodating of the accommodating means (12) is not pivotable.
  6. Container processing machine according to one of preceding claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the accommodating means (12) and/or the inserts surround, at least in a partial manner, the neck rings of containers that are provided with neck rings both at their top edge and at their bottom edge.
  7. Container processing machine according to one of preceding claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the accommodating means (12) and/or the inserts are adapted to the contour of the bottom edge of the closure region of containers that do not have neck rings.
