Aus einer Kunststoffolie tiefgezogener, im wesentlichen rechteckiger Deckel (1), insbesondere zum Aufsetzen auf einen mit einem Flanschrand(3) versehenen Becher(2), mit einer Deckfläche(4) und einem nach unten gezogenen Randabschnitt(7), der nach innen gerichtete Vertiefungen(8) aufweist, wobei der Randabschnitt(7) im wesentlichen kontinuierlich schräg nach aussen verläuft. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen aus einer Kunststoffolie tiefgezogenen, im wesentlichen rechteckigen Deckel, insbesondere zum Aufsetzen auf einen mit einem Flanschrand versehenen Becher, mit einer Deckfläche und einem nach unten gezogenen Randabschnitt, der nach innen gerichtete Vertiefungen aufweist.
Derartige Deckel sind in der Praxis in einer Vielzahl bekannt. Sie haben alle den Nachteil, dass sie aufgrund ihrer formgegebenen Instabilität einen hohen Materialverbrauch bedingen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Deckel der genannten Art so auszugestalten, dass er bei verhältnismässig geringem Materialverbrauch so steif ausgebildet ist, dass ein Ausbeulen insbesondere beim Aufsetzen auf einen Becher vermieden wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass der Randabschnitt im wesentlichen kontinuierlich schräg nach aussen verläuft.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung liegt darin, dass von der Deckfläche ein innerer Randabschnitt leicht nach innen geneigt nach oben verläuft.
Dies erhöht die Druckstabilität des Deckels ganz erheblich; darüber hinaus wird damit eine Stapelkante für das Übereinanderstapeln mehrerer Deckel erzeilt.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Randabschnitt mit einem verhältnismässig kleinen Radius in einen oberen Randabschnitt übergeht, der mit einem demgegenüber grossen Radius in den äusseren schräg verlaufenden Randabschnitt übergeht.
Als sehr vorteilhaft hat es sich auch ergeben, wenn gemäß einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung die nach innen gerichteten Vertiefungen ausschliesslich im Bereich der Ecken des Deckels angeordnet sind.
Damit liegen die Vertiefungen im stabilsten Abschnitt des Deckel-Randes, so dass beim Aufsetzen des Deckels auf einen Becher kein Ausbeulen des Randes und somit keinerlei bleibende Verformung stattfindet.
Gemäß einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass jede der Vertiefungen als durchgehende Einprägung ausgebildet ist.
Diese durchgehenden Einprägungen versteifen den Randbereich ebenfalls sehr wirkungsvoll und sind darüber hinaus leicht über einen Randflasch eines Bechers zu schieben.
Als sehr vorteilhaft hat es sich dabei ergeben, wenn erfindungsgemäß die Einprägungen bzw. Vertiefungen sich über den gesamten Bereich der Ecken erstrecken und eventuell über den bogenförmigen Deckel-Rand wenigstens geringfügig überstehen.
Damit wird eine sichere Arretierung des Deckels auf dem Becher erzielt.
In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels veranschaulicht. Dabei zeigen:

Mit 1 ist in der Zeichnung ein Deckel bezeichnet, der in Fig. 1 auf einen Becher 2 aufgesetzt ist. Dieser Becher 2 weist einen in Fig.2 dargestellten Flanschrand 3 auf, auf dem sich der Deckel 1 abstützt. Der Deckel 1 weist eine Deckfläche 4 auf, von der ein innerer Randabschnitt 5 leicht nach innen geneigt nach oben aufsteigt. Über einen verhältnismässig kleinen Radius schliesst an den inneren Randabschnitt 5 ein oberer Randabschnitt 6 an, der über einen im Verhältnis zum ersten Radius verhältnismäßig großen Radius in einen äusseren Randabschnitt 7 übergeht. In diesem äusseren Randabschnitt 7 sind im Bereich der Deckel-Ecken Vertiefungen in Form von nach innen gerichteten Einprägungen 8 vorgesehen, die - wie in Fig.2 sichtbar - unter den Flanschrand 3 des Bechers 2 greifen. Damit wird der Deckel 1 sehr wirkungsvoll am Becher 2 festgelegt.
Durch die besondere Formgebung ist der Deckel sehr steif und kann verhältnismäßig dünn ausgebildet sein. Im Bereich der Deckelecken ist dieser besonders steif, so dass die dort angeordneten Vertiefungen beziehungsweise Einprägungen 8 beim Aufsetzen des Deckels 1 auf den Becher 2 nicht ausbeulen können.
Der in Fig.4 dargestellte Lappen 9 dient dem Abnehmen des Deckels 1 vom Becher 2 und ist ebenfalls im Bereich einer Ecke des Deckels an den äusseren Randabschnitt 7 angeformt.
Durch die schräge Ausbildung des inneren Randabschnittes 5 wird eine Stapelkante erzeugt, auf der sich übereinandergestapelte Deckel abstützen können um sie leicht separieren zu können.

Claims (6)

  1. Aus einer Kunststoffolie tiefgezogener, im wesentlichen rechteckiger Deckel (1), insbesondere zum Aufsetzen auf einen mit einem Flanschrand(3) versehenen Becher(2), mit einer Deckfläche(4) und einem nach unten gezogenen Randabschnitt(7), der nach innen gerichtete Vertiefungen(8) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Randabschnitt(7) im wesentlichen kontinuierlich schräg nach aussen verläuft.
  2. Deckel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass von der Deckfläche (4) ein innerer Randabschnitt(5) im leicht nach innen geneigt nach oben verläuft.
  3. Deckel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Randabschnitt(5) mit einem verhältnismässig kleinen Radius in einen oberen Randabschnitt(6) übergeht, der mit einem demgegenüber grossen Radius in den äusseren schräg verlaufenden Randabschnitt(7) übergeht.
  4. Deckel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die nach innen gerichteten Vertiefungen(8) ausschliesslich im Bereich der Ecken des Deckels(1) angeordnet sind.
  5. Deckel nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede der Vertiefungen (8) als durchgehende Einprägung ausgebildet ist.
  6. Deckel nach Anspruch 5 mit abgerundeten Ecken, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einprägungen bzw. Vertiefungen(8) sich über den gesamten Bereich der Ecken erstrecken und eventuell über den bogenförmigen Deckel-Rand wenigstens geringfügig überstehen.
