Definitions
- the invention relates to a self-adhesive tape for sealing, sealing and Bonding of joints, in particular in house building, and in particular of joints in Corners and edges, a so-called assembly line, with a carrier layer on the Ribbon top, a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating of the carrier layer on the underside of the belt and with a removable cover at the bottom of the tape.
- Such adhesive tapes find e.g. Application if different in home construction Components, such as doors or windows, used in a wall opening be and the case between the components and the corresponding wall opening resulting joint is closed, which is especially when installing such Components in external building walls must be made to a corresponding To achieve sealing effect.
- a general problem of such self-adhesive tapes is in hard-to-reach Areas with as uncomplicated application as possible To achieve a sealing effect by correctly attaching such bands to a To achieve air-tight or moisture-tight closing the joints.
- German patent application DE 101 35 799 A1 of the same applicant shows a mounting tape for improved joint sealing with a suitable Assembly tape dispenser, with the appropriate assembly tape on the Band underside one on a carrier layer on a band top provided Adhesive layer, which with a peelable cover sheet at the bottom of the belt is provided.
- the cover sheet has running in the longitudinal direction of the tape a slot on and the tape is along this slot in the transverse direction once folded onto itself so that at least part of the cover sheet is outwardly, i. at the band top lies.
- this band has at least one lateral Longitudinal section, which is perforated.
- the invention is based on the object, a self-adhesive tape for closing, Sealing and bonding joints, especially in house construction, and in particular of joints in corners and edges, provide, which has the disadvantages of the prior art overcomes and in particular despite easier and thus cost-effective design an optimal sealing effect while continuing improved handling, especially under spatially difficult or cramped Conditions, provides.
- the self-adhesive tape according to the invention for sealing, sealing and Bonding of joints, in particular in house building, and in particular of joints in Corners and edges, which are particularly difficult to reach has a carrier layer on the top of the tape, a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating of the carrier layer the lower side of the tape and a removable cover film on the lower side of the tape, wherein the cover sheet has at least a first slot.
- At least a first fold portion of the band is transversely along folded over in the longitudinal direction of the belt first folding edge, wherein this first folding edge extends at a location other than the first slot.
- the inventive combination of a folding of the tape along a first folding edge and a first slot, which at another Place as the first folding edge runs, results under certain conditions a further improved processability of the tape.
- the attachment in corners and edges can be simplified while the slit offers the possibility, in sections, the cover of Remove the pressure-sensitive adhesive coating and the tape on such an adhesive section for example, to be glued to a window frame to be sealed.
- the fact that slit and folding edge do not coincide results the advantage that only the area of the tape according to the invention to be bonded must be removed from an appropriate section of the cover while the folding edge is spaced from the adhesive portion.
- Such a band according to the invention can be used, for example, in dry construction and / or used in solid construction. Especially in spatially difficult accessible locations, such as 90 ° corners, e.g. between two colliding ones Drywall walls, or in the window area, where the inventive Tape is glued as exactly as possible to the window frame, so the risk avoided that in later plastering the tape by a blow the plasterer cell is severed and thus its airtightness is lost.
- the pre-folding saves the user a lot of time, especially if larger Window surfaces with several inserted window frames in a new building to be inserted into the outer walls. Otherwise, would have the appropriate convolution done by hand, this is not required according to the invention.
- the band a second folding section, which in the transverse direction along a in Folded longitudinally of the belt extending second folding edge.
- this second folding section it is possible, for example, in the frame an application between several U-profiles a suitably designed To use self-adhesive tape in a simple way.
