Definitions
- the invention relates to a floorboard with a core of wood-based material, in particular MDF, HDF or OSB (medium-density fiberboard, high-density fiberboard or "oriented strands board”), and a decorative layer applied to an upper side, wherein the edges profiled on the longitudinal and transverse sides are that interconnected plates in the vertical and horizontal directions are locked to each other.
- MDF wood-based material
- HDF high-density fiberboard
- OSB medium-density fiberboard, high-density fiberboard or "oriented strands board
- Such a floor plate is known for example from DE 100 64 587 A1.
- These are laminate floor panels that can be laid floating.
- the panels are centrally provided at their side edges with a groove extending over the full longitudinal and / or transverse side. In one of the boundary sides of the groove, a cross-sectionally triangular depression is milled in each case. Two with their side edges juxtaposed panels form through the grooves a continuous slot closed on all sides, can be used in the connection and locking elements.
- the decorative layer of laminate panels consists of a printed paper layer which is covered by a synthetic resin layer.
- the printed decor is a wood grain or a stone look. Not only high print quality is required for the most natural possible appearance of the surface, but reliefs are often embossed into the synthetic resin layer to haptically support the optical character of the grain.
- Such panels can only be used in dry rooms because the surface is not waterproof.
- a floor panel which is provided at the side edges with a spring-groove profiling.
- Spring and groove are formed on plastic inserts, which are glued to the core of wood-based material.
- On the spring projections are provided which can engage in depressions formed in the groove, so that the panels are connected by snapping (click connection) with each other.
- the decorative layer In order for the panels to be used in wet rooms, the decorative layer must be waterproof.
- Tile or stone decor can be optically, but especially haptically with a plastic film does not imitate very well, so that a laid out with these panels floor when touching often makes a substandard impression.
- US Pat. No. 6,262,161 B1 discloses a composition of a polymer, for example ethylene and / or ⁇ -olefin / vinyl or vinylidene monomer, and at least one filling material which comprises ammonium polyphosphate, magnesium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide and / or aluminum trihydrate.
- the composition serves to produce a floor, wall or ceiling covering which has improved fire and flame resistance.
- a generic floor plate is characterized in that on the top of the core, which is roughened, as a decorative layer a cold-ceramic coating containing magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate is applied.
- This coating which adheres well to this by treating the top of the core, achieves a very hard and water resistant surface. Both the look and the feel of this surface is a completely different than the previous resin coating.
- the cold-ceramic coating preferably consists essentially of wood fiber, magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate.
- a spring can be formed on a longitudinal and a transverse edge and a groove on the opposite edges, wherein the spring and the groove are provided with integrated locking means which correspond to one another.
- the springs and grooves can be worked out of the core.
- the profiled edges are preferably coated watertight. It is also possible to insert a silicone gasket or the like when laying.
- the inserts are preferably made of a waterproof material.
- the proportion of wood fiber in the decorative layer is preferably between 5 and 50% by volume, in particular 10% by volume.
- the decorative layer is preferably 0.5-4 mm and in particular 2 mm thick.
- a cold-ceramic coating is also applied to the underside of the panel, this can not only take over the function of the counter-coating otherwise required with laminate panels, but the sound-absorbing and sound-absorbing properties increase significantly, since the density of the cold-ceramic coating is between 1000 and 1500 kg / m 3 , and thus is much higher than the density of the core material.
- This coating has the property that noise is reduced to the level of floors firmly connected to the ground. Since this training also the bottom of the panel is waterproof, even wet or dampening surfaces are not critical for the floor.
- a polyurethane-based impregnation is applied to the coating.
- the cured coating is open-pored.
- the impregnating agent seals the pores. The same effect can be achieved if the decorative layer is sealed with a lacquer.
- a relief can be embossed, so that, for example, the effect of a broken surface, as found in natural sandstone, can be achieved.
- the decorative layer can also be painted, for example, to intensify the look of the decor. Relief and decor can occur together.
- the coated plate is subjected to a low pressure of less than 30 bar, in particular 15 bar. If a temperature of 55 ° C is applied at the same time, evaporation of ammonia is already achieved during production.
- the cold-ceramic coating preferably consists essentially of wood fiber, magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate.
- the adhesion of the cold-ceramic coating to the plate is improved when, after soaking with magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate, wood fibers are sprinkled on top of the core.
- the coating can be rolled on the core, sprayed or poured. If the proportion of wood fiber in the cold-ceramic coating is high enough, it can also be scattered.
- the panel consists of a core 5 made of wood-based material, in particular MDF, HDF or OSB, with a decorative layer 1 applied on its upper side.
- the panel of FIG. 1 is provided with a spring 2 milled out of the core 5 on one longitudinal side and one transverse side , At the opposite longitudinal and transverse sides, a groove 8 corresponding to the spring 2 is milled out of the core 5.
- the underside of the spring 2 has a projection 3, which corresponds to a bead 7 in the lower lip 6 of the groove 8.
- the projection 3 and the bead 7 form locking means which prevent a sliding apart of two interconnected panels in the transverse direction Q.
- the spring and the groove take over a locking in the vertical direction V.
- the decorative layer 1 consists of a mixture of magnesium oxide, ammonium polyphosphate and preferably wood fiber.
- the wood fibers serve as filler.
- the coating can also consist only of magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate. But that is quite expensive.
- Other fillers such as glass fibers or glass granules may also be used.
- the layer may contain further granules and / or metal particles for reducing static charge. It may be added to other mineral components or dyes.
- the wood fiber content is between 5 and 50 percent by volume, preferably 10 percent by volume. The thicker the decorative layer 1 is to be performed, the more wood fiber is added.
- the Visible side of the decorative layer 1 has a stone identical appearance (granite, marble, etc.).
- the mixture of magnesium oxide, ammonium polyphosphate and wood fiber may also contain dolomite.
- dolomite glass granules, stone granules, ash, sand or filter dusts can be used.
- the dry ingredients are first mixed. Liquid ammonium polyphosphate is then added to the mixture and stirred. The chemical reaction is very fast and the liquid mixture can be sprayed or rolled onto the core 5 for about 3 to 5 minutes. To slow the reaction, borax can be added to the mixture. The borax content is approximately 1% of the magnesium oxide content. Before the mixture is fully cured, the coating can be applied with a small pressure to produce a smooth surface. Tests with a pressure of 30 bar have given good results. 15 bars are certainly enough.
- the thicker the coating is chosen the more filler, in particular wood fibers and / or granules, are mixed with the magnesium oxide and the ammonium polyphosphate. If the proportion of the filler is large enough, the coating on the top of the plate can also be sprinkled.
- the coating has the advantage that it is waterproof.
- the press plate is heated, with which the smooth surface of the coating is produced.
- the decorative layer 1 has a thickness of 0.5 - 4 mm. Preferably, it is 2 mm thick.
- an insulating layer 4 is applied, which also consists of a cold-ceramic coating of magnesium oxide, ammonium polyphosphate and preferably wood fiber.
- the layer may contain granules for impact sound refraction and / or metal particles for reducing the static charge. Again, the wood fiber content is between 5 and 50 vol.%, Preferably 10%.
- the insulating layer 4 and the decorative layer 1 can be constructed identically. The insulating layer 4 takes over the tasks of a counteracting, which prevents bending of the panel as a result of originating from the decorative layer 1 tensile forces.
- the top is roughened until the fibers stand up. Then magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate are mixed in pure form and the plate soaked before the coating rolled on, sprayed, poured or sprinkled. When pressing the decorative layer 1 with the core 5, a relief can be embossed into the coating at the same time.
- a ceramic coating with the following composition has proven to be well suited: burnt magnesium oxide 33.8% by weight ammonium polyphosphate 28.8% by weight glass granules 25.6% by weight ash 11.8% by weight
- the proportion of ammonium polyphosphate is preferably always lower than the proportion of magnesium oxide. A share of up to 70% has proven to be useful.
- the panel shown in Figure 2 differs from that in Figure 1 in that the spring 2 and the groove 8 are not milled directly from the core 5, but are formed on waterproof inserts 9, 10, which consist for example of plastic or aluminum and are glued into corresponding recesses of the core 5.
- the recesses for the inserts 9, 10 may be identical, so that both the production (milling of the recesses) and the subsequent gluing of the inserts 9, 10 is simplified, because this edge can be done independently.

Description
- Figur 1
- ein Fußbodenpaneel im Querschnitt nach einer ersten Ausführungsform;
- Figur 2
gebranntes Magnesiumoxid 33,8 Gew.% Ammoniumpolyphosphat 28,8 Gew.% Glasgranulat 25,6 Gew.% Asche 11,8 Gew.
gebranntes Magnesiumoxid 32,7 Gew.% Ammoniumpolyphosphat 28,1 Gew.% mineralische Füllstoffe (Asche, Glasgranulat, Vermiculit, Dolomit) 39,2 Gew.% Farbstoff <0,006 Gew.
