Abstract
Description
The object of the present invention is to improve the generic wood-metal window system to the effect that the user-side ease of installation is increased, the risk of damage to the frame profiles is lowered and improved appearance is achieved.
The above object is achieved in the generic wood-metal window by the features of
Appropriately, the vote of the common outer edge of the peripheral frame profiles instead of a milling, in particular a wide milling of the frame, achieved solely by using different frame profiles.
The frame profile expediently has a veneering area and a rollover area, wherein a fastening section for fastening the window frame profile to the window frame via holders is provided on the underside of the veneer area. Conveniently, the height X of the flashover area is greater than the height Y of the fastening cutout, so that a certain offset occurs, which ensures a sufficient view width of the flashover area with spaced installation of the veneer area to the frame.
Furthermore, the length of the frame profiles is expediently dimensioned such that a free strip remains between the common outer edge of the element field and the outer edge of the respective frame.
Since the window frames are placed around the individual elements within an element field, the window frame profile expediently has a receptacle for the use of a stiffening angle in the end area facing away from the flap area. This ensures permanent alignment of the common edge, d. H. subsequent changes, for example, due to thermal differences avoided.
For example, the receptacle can be realized as a groove oriented toward the receiving area, wherein a plate to be inserted into the groove, preferably a corner angle, is used as stiffening angle.
In particular for the use of a frame profile with parts projecting on the frame (such as a rain protection rail with drip edge), the frame profile is expediently fixed via an adapter, preferably via an adapter profile, to the outer side region of the frame and the assembly is covered by the frame profile.
The adapter has, in a further development of this idea, a recess into which the drip edge of a mounted rain protection rail can engage.
The adapter is expediently not a continuous profile part but a plurality of individual adapters or adapter profiles along the rain protection rail of an element.
